We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

WatchinG OBEM here too. Although weirdly the more I watch the less scared I am. That might change the bigger I get though.

It's got to be done and we've evolved to cope. You will be fine binky.

binkybunny · 10/03/2014 21:21

I'm not sure if I've evolved for childbirth. I faint at blood tests Smile

Still watching. Feeling sorry for the young boy!

binkybunny · 10/03/2014 21:22

Oops didnt finish. He looks so awkward with his gf father there!

pebble82 · 10/03/2014 21:23

Me too! Scary dad! I fainted trying to give blood too, before they even got anywhere near me.

Bumpforme2014 · 10/03/2014 21:25

So sorry cakebaker that's shocking, take care of yourself and thanks for all your advice. this thread is making me very sad indeed :-( someone please have a scan soon with good news!

binkybunny · 10/03/2014 21:26

I get laid down before the needles come out.

Hormones in overdrive. Sat in tears at the birth! Glad DH is out tonight

pebble82 · 10/03/2014 21:28

DP just walked in the room to me crying and said "you were told not to watch this!" but then he said "don't worry, I'll look after you" which made me cry more.

binkybunny · 10/03/2014 21:29

Awww pebble. That made me cry!

Kirstipops · 10/03/2014 21:30

Oh cakemaker I'm so very sorry, take care of yourself.
Blueberry your GP does indeed sound like a tosser, I'd definitely want to complain about the Gestapo receptionist as well, docs receptionists seem to be increasingly like this, it's a disgrace.
My friend asked if I'd be watching OBEM, but I reckon ignorance is bliss! I've been told it's full of drama queens as well,so I would probably just be annoyed by it!

binkybunny · 10/03/2014 21:38

Kirstipops my in laws in South Africa will hear when I have a contraction. I am one of those drama queens Blush

Its actually ok so far. The vicars wife in the pool is scaring me a bit. She seems a bit out of it and sleepy. Is that the effect of gas and air?

ohthegoats · 10/03/2014 21:41

Sorry to hear that cake, take care.

Over at my place, boyfriend is ill. 'Didn't sleep very well, felt sick for hours, and WAS sick at one point.. ' so had the day off in bed moaning gently and watching netflix.

THAT'S BEEN ME SINCE THE BEGINNING OF JANUARY AND I DON'T GET A DAY OFF. Grrr...

Whilst he stood there like a lemon, watching me set up the spare bed for him (well, sort out a mattress on the floor, find the spare duvets in amongst hundreds of bags - spare room's not being top of the list when you've just moved house), he said 'Maybe I'm coming out in sympathy?' I did tight lipped 'yes dear' type smiles and quickly made an exit before there was an injury. To him, obviously.

Loulou888 · 10/03/2014 21:46

Ohthegoats men! My husband is the same when he is Ill he can relax, take a day off work, go to bed etc. when I feel poorly I have to carry on x

binkybunny · 10/03/2014 21:51

Obem has got too much and turned it off!

ohthegoats I would have made him do his own bed! Or injured him. DH knows not to complain at the moment if hes feeling ill because he cant compare on the sickness/tiredness front and I keep telling him its all his fault I feel like this Grin

porcito · 11/03/2014 01:16

So sorry to hear cake, horrible news - hope you're been taking care of.

ohthegoats I would have put his bed in the garden. Mine tried the sympathy sickness card at the beginning. I've never wanted to slap anyone harder.

bythesea they found bleeding in the uterus with me too, told me although it wasn't normal, it was quite a common problem, usually caused by leftover implantation bleeding. It's usually reabsorbed. I spent 3 weeks consulting Dr Google -terrible idea. Went back 3 weeks later, all gone. I was expecting my entire collection of internal organs to have burst by this point, thanks Google. I was told to just avoid lifting as much as possible and walking too much. Not hard to do when all I wanted to do was lie on a sofa and sleep.

Scan tomorrow, very nervous. I wonder if we ever stop being such nervous wrecks before scans?!

Good luck today sparkle.

Really sorry cake, look after yourself x

Blueberry - sounds like you've got a tough week ahead. Thinking of you x

ohthegoats · 11/03/2014 07:40

Good luck today Sparkle!

ohthegoats · 11/03/2014 07:49

Oh, and it turns out that sleeping in different beds is the way forward! He shut himself away in his sick room, so I tried to stay awake later than usual (10.15pm, yeah, I'm pretty rock and roll these days), and apart from one toilet visit at 1am, I slept through until 6am. Normally I'm up to 8 wees a night, wide awake at 3am, tossing and turning all night. Last night was the best night's sleep since New Year! Lovely.

TroubleAndFyfe · 11/03/2014 08:23

Good luck today Sparkle!
I'm 10 weeks today! 1/4 of the way to meeting my little squish! Smile

mrsb87 · 11/03/2014 08:26

Feeling better ohthegoats after a good sleep? Thanks for the idea, dh is going in the spare room tonight! He did say he thinks it's him waking me up and not the other was round!

AnnoyedByAlfieBear · 11/03/2014 08:31

Good luck Sparkle.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 11/03/2014 08:38

sparkle all the best for your scan this group needs some positive scan news I fear the first timers are getting extra unnecessary worry, for my part in that I am sorry,
ohthegoats glad you had a good sleep! Instead of getting extra room I've been getting less DS keeps getting in with me a DP think he's picking up on my mood and he won't settle without me...

Have 3 OBEM and 2 call the midwifes to catch up with... I've put them off since Fridays scan but for now I am pregnant! That's the only way I can deal with this week! So as my house has been cleaned to the extreme the last few days I can sit and catch up today :D

sparkle good luck for your scan today.

ohthegoats a good nights sleep makes all the difference doesn't it? I was up twice for a wee last night which is an improvement went to bed at 9:45! And Ds didn't wake till 6am which is an improvement on his usual 5am starts. Feeling refreshed today wonder how long that lasts.

clairemiss79 · 11/03/2014 09:32

Hi was wondering if I can join this group. 9 weeks today and due in October.
