We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

I'm feeling pretty rough here to loulou. Constantly feel sick and just exhausted. I don't remember feeling this bad with ds1. It's like I've got a really bad hangover all the time. I'm only 7+6, not sure how I'll cope to 12 weeks when I hope to feels bit better.

In 7 weeks I've gone from feeling a slim size 10 to a podgy nearly 14. It's exactly what happened with dc1. It's like my body thinks ooooh, pregnancy lets put on a stone before we even get going shall we!

binkybunny · 08/03/2014 17:44

Felt better recently so dragged myself out today to make the most of it with a movie and a walk in the hills. Managed two miles of heaving and dizziness now back shivering under a blanket on the sofa. I climbed 2 or 3 Munros in a day before getting pregnant so feeling frustrated at lack of energy!!! On the bright side, hopefully I'll have a good nights sleep tonight though!

Loulou888 · 08/03/2014 18:01

It's funny how such a small little thing can make you feel. It's nice to talk to others who feel the same. Roll on 12 plus weeks. I too am already in need of larger clothes anything tight around my tummy makes me feel worse. Xx

Eurgh, horrid day. My sense of smell has gone into hyper drive and im really struggling with having my doggies around. To me they absolutely stink. We've put all their beds in the wash today to hopefully make the kitchen more bearable and its bath time tomorrow!
Not kept a lot down today because of the smells Sad

Wow binky you were btave today! Well done, I certainly wouldn't have been able to do that.

BlueberryPoppy123 · 08/03/2014 18:59

sparkle brilliant cover! Still getting symptoms I know I would even if I wasn't pregnant anymore but makes me feel better and for now I'm trying to carry on believing I am... Occasional nausea... aversion to eggs... yuk! Heartburn eugh! And sore boobies
Talking of sore boobies does anyone else keep getting painful nipple erections? When I'm cold and have sore boobs it's like pokers being put on my nipples had this with DS OUCH!!!

Loopylu84 · 08/03/2014 19:01

Sat here bawling my eyes out at Titanic. . . . may have escaped from the physical symptoms but I'm def getting the emotional ones!

Wiggy29 · 08/03/2014 19:28

Blueberry- all sounds good for you &yes to giant sore nipples when cold! Mine also keep getting bits of crusty creamy stuff on them-lush! Don't we just bloom in pregnancy!

Not feeling too sick today but more getting fed up of trying to hide that I feel lousy from everyone. Was with my mum today&had to try act normal&not eat everything. Noticed I feel 10x worse if I let myself get hungry.

Felt a bit down in the dumps the past couple of days, not teary, just more weary&can't muster much interest in anything.

Could do with a couple of days eating crap on the sofa but between work/ dc1&2/ major house renovations- there ain't much chance of that happening!

robindeer · 08/03/2014 20:07

I'm another too nervous to add my EDD! This will be our first DC and although I've been very careful until now (well, since my bfp! 9mile walk the day before!) I spent today with my big, boisterous 7yr old nephew and lifted him into a tyre swing, spun him around, jumped down from a climbing frame (I know I sound insane but he's both lonely and persuasive!) basically played lots of physical park games and am now suffering mild panic at the pain in my lower abdomen.

My rational self tells me it will no doubt be wind. So far today I have eaten two different (both enormous) pastries, two huge sausage baps, a mushroom risotto and two boiled eggs. My curry is in the oven and the samosas are cooling on the hob...

Please feel free to either:
A. Tell me I'm right to worry
B. Mock me for my panic
C. Tell me it's fine to exercise
or (most likely) D. Tell me I'm a glutton who will quickly resemble a hippopotamus.

Me23 · 08/03/2014 20:34

robindeer dont worry its perfectly safe to exercise in pregnancy it is not adviddd to start a high impact excercise regieme in pregnancy if yourbody isnt used to it.

blueberry I have my fingers crossed thst it is good news next week.

mrs my sense of smell is also very sensitive at the moment I can't stand my cats smell and I keep thinking I can smell cat urine everywhere my partner thinks I'm imagining it Hmm

I also find if I'm not constantly eating then I feel sick. Luckily im craving ice lollies amongst the other crap so getting some low cal snacks in there.

CareBearWithFangs · 08/03/2014 21:05

Evening everyone. My sense of smell is playing up today too, everything smells awful. Spent half the day with my head in my jumper.

I still have basically no appetite, completely gone off all sweet food and all dairy. I'm living off plain hula hoops.

Don't worry rob I'm still doing similar with my two year old (when not vomiting) you will be fine.

mrsb87 · 08/03/2014 21:21

Hi carebear how are you getting on with your meds? I am having trouble with the smell of clean clothes at the moment. Persil has now become a serious nono for washing my clothes, gagged so much last night just from clean pj's!

CareBearWithFangs · 08/03/2014 21:47

There not bad actually. I feel much better than I did this time last week. But I think the main thing that's making a difference is taking it easy. The week before I was pushing myself to carry on as normal but this week I've been really careful to only do the bare minimum. How are you doing mrs? Other than the random aversion to clean washing smells Grin

BlueberryPoppy123 · 08/03/2014 21:50

So just built up the courage to read the referral the sonographer gave me it says yolk sac seen but no fetal pole or heartbeat... So what did I do... I googled Blush seems a lot of people seem to have been in this situation and what basically it means is there's a 50/50 percent chance that everything is fine... I've read loads of positive outcomes but there Are obviously the bad ones too... All the optimism is wearing me down, I'm exhausted! Feeling like a dreadful mum & I keep going off into trances... Glad my mum was about today as she has kept me and my son fed and watered... I forgot to change my sons nappy after his nap and he leaked everywhere he was soaked bless him :( and he kept coming to play with me and I have done a mixture of distract him with tele or toys ignored him or snapped at him... He must be sensing my mood as he kept coming to cuddle me and kiss me all day... DP isn't talking to me either it's how he handles things ... Is it Monday yet?!

Oh blueberry I know its not that helpful but you really have to try and relax. It won't help you to stress out like you are. And don't beat yourself up!

Carebear I'm glad you're feeling better , I found out trying to do too much was making me worse. I can cope with going out somewhere safe for a few hours and that's it otherwise I suffer! The ondansetron is mostly doing it's job, I get the odd set back but nothing too bad. Have you tried nesquick? Bit of a lifesaver for me!

CareBearWithFangs · 08/03/2014 22:13

Blueberry it's totally understandable that your distracted at the moment. Don't give yourself a hard time about it. Try and relax as much as is possible.

Mrs I've never been very keen on milkshakes, I'll stick to my hula hoops I think.

Sometimesbrunette · 08/03/2014 23:22

I'm due my first baby on 21st October. Had a suspected ectopic and had a scan at 5 weeks which showed the sac and the yolk apparently.

Had a private scan booked I. For 23rd march but no date for 12 week one. Have an appointment with my midwife on tues.

Bumpforme2014 it's also my birthday today! I've been for lunch with my DH felt ok all day until 4 minutes ago I had acid reflex- again! X

binkybunny · 08/03/2014 23:36

Aaargh cant sleep! Have restless legs and DH is snoring. I'm so tired but my legs are driving me mad Angry

Kirstipops · 08/03/2014 23:43

Hi everybody, I'm approx 10+2 so looking to be due around the beginning of October. My first pregnancy ever so a wee bit nervous but hubbie and I cautiously happy at this point! Had my booking in appointment on Monday (where I epically failed at giving ANY blood! Crap veins, they're bringing up an anaesthetist for my next appointment :-/) and then had a scan yesterday, which was a bit too early for the technician to check everything that she needed to and date me properly, so I've to go back on 24th March. Got a great pic of my wriggly wee lodger though and hopefully should get another one at my next scan too; I also learned I have a ginormous bladder, good to know! My parents, a couple of select friends and my boss know, but my oh my I'm bursting to tell the world now! Hubbie is more cautious and would rather wait til I've had my next scan on 24th, eeeeep.

Having read the previous 2 threads as well as this one I'm sorry to read about others miscarrying, I hope they're doing OK.
I've had sore boobs for what seems like ages (couple of days it eased off but then came back with a vengeance!), and some stretchy/cramping last week. Tiredness and queasiness both easing off a bit now, and my sweet tooth last month has evolved into a sour tooth - I can't get enough citrussy fruits!
Sorry for the long intro, I had a nap earlier so now full of beans ;)

P.S. Blueberry, hope time flies in for your next scan, my fingers are crossed for you :)

Mrsthedog · 08/03/2014 23:51

Blueberry keeping everything crossed for you next week.

I am just plain cross at the moment. Work know I am pregnant and yet are piling more work and stress on me than ever. I have only worked there since September and so do not have enough sick pay accrued to be signed off if I do lose the plot entirely.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I just want to stay at home eating cheese slices and watching 90s sitcom box sets. Is that too much to ask?

pusscous · 09/03/2014 03:29

Marking my place on the new thread, will need to add myself to the list at some point. Most things are a 'tomorrow' task as still feeling to tired to complete most things- I should be unpacking boxes and putting things away as we have just moved house, but...

I'm not eating much and am more aware of smells: plastic wrap on new sofa, new duvet and pillows. ick

I have an appointment with a nurse on Monday and scan with Ob the following week. Currently 9+ something and in the USA. Feeling apprehensive and excited simultaneously given the issues others are having.

FlipFantasia · 09/03/2014 05:13

Welcome to the newbies Smile

Blueberry really hope you can stay relaxed. Stay away from google - it's not a good thing!

Pusscous I'm also 9+5 and in the USA (though actually right now in Berlin with my 2 DC as part of a two week holiday visiting family in ireland & Germany). I live in northern NJ. It'll be good to have someone else US based! After two births in London on the NHS I'm finding the care v different so far...

sazzlehopes · 09/03/2014 07:55

Blueberry just popping in to add my well wishes to you and hoping your next scan gives you a happy result xx

lilystem · 09/03/2014 08:11

Crossing everything for you blueberry.

To the lady worrying about lifting the 7 year old - as long as you normally do it really don't worry. I'm a farmer and with dc1 I was lugging feed and equipment round, jumping on and off tractors (and bouncing around) and handling cows till fairly late in the pregnancy. I checked with my midwife and she said it was fine. I also know a midwife married to a farmer and asked her as I didn't trust the original midwife knew what I meant when I said I have a very

binkybunny · 09/03/2014 08:14

Horrible nights sleep. Had restless legs nearly all night and felt half way between sleep and awake for most of it.

Has anyone else tried to DTD since their BFP? Even with no sleep I woke up extremely in the mood this morning for the first time since bfp but half way through started panicking about bleeding/ hurting the baby. Stupid and irrational but it kinda killed it. DH was fine he was also a bit worried but I feel bad for him! Need to find a solution as 9 months is a loooong time!
