We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

We're planning on going to our inlaws tonight to show them the picture. Sil immediately pipes up expecting us to go round this weekend to tell their kids......er no. 2 reasons, 1 dh is working saturday so I will only spend sunday with him anyway and 2 I'm not seeing my own nephews and nieces to tell them face to face to I certainly won't be giving them preferential treatment! Sorry. Winge over.

Tell her to shuv in binky! Everyone on here is suffering from bloating at this stage. I certainly am and I've hardly eaten for 8 weeks! Your body is preparing to grow another human being, it's going to change.

TroubleAndFyfe · 21/03/2014 15:58

First of many annoying comments Binky! I've got so much of a tummy I was offered a seat on the train yesterday and, although I'm not watching what I eat I'm not eating more than before either. What I have is bloat, some extra fluid, a placenta, a plum sized baby, a cord, loads more blood and a sluggish digestive system. Okay, some people don't show at all for months but they must've just had loads of gaps between their internal organs beforehand! Grin

Loulou888 · 21/03/2014 16:07

Some people are so annoying binky ignore her. I too have a really bloated tummy and I haven't even put on any weight on the scales thanks to sickness. My dd had a class assembly today I sat there with lots of mints, water willing myself not to feel sick and a big baggy jumper on. Lol I expect a few mums have probably guessed but being polite. Booking in appt next week looking forward for things to start moving inc scan.

Lovely to hear all the good scan news Smile

CODwidow · 21/03/2014 17:18

God I feel huge already, im usually a 12 but I have a huge bloated belly. Reassuring to know im not the only one!

magichandles · 21/03/2014 17:32

Great scan news (and pictures)! Sorry your colleague was such an arse binky.

I've just had my booking appointment and no real surprises. They have booked me in for an early GTT next week as I had GD with both previous pregnancies - I am not looking forward to that at all given that the only thing that is making me not feel sick at the moment is eating.

Kirstipops · 21/03/2014 17:39

I'm usually a (uk size) 10 up top and 12 below but last night I struggled to zip up a pair of size 14 jeans! Couple of folk in work commented on my nearly-bump today (not in a rude way) and last night DH smilingly says "Aww look at your big belly!" Cheers dear! Shoulda lamped him with the remote hehe.
About thrush - my midwife told me it's really common in pregnancy, so much so that the maternity exemption card is useful for using to pick up Canesten at the chemists for free.
Glad to hear about good scans today too. 3 sleeps til my 12 week scan, whoop!

ohthegoats · 21/03/2014 17:47

You just need to scroll back a few pages to my big gut photo from Monday. Looks like a bump, aint a bump.. just a fat (wobbly/squishy) tummy. It's the only bit though - my boobs aren't massive even - and going to the gym massively helps the bloating, particularly swimming. Must stretch it all out or something. Being in the pool makes me feel a bit sea sick though, so it's not all good.

ohthegoats · 21/03/2014 17:51

Did anyone get any scan photos from different angles than just from the side? When I had my last scan done, we ended up with 4 various pics, but with similar pose. There were some far more interesting ones on the scree - from the head looking down at little legs and arms for example. I would quite like one of those.

gunwalloe · 21/03/2014 17:56

Thanks for the thrush info ladies

ohthegoats good luck for tomorrow, im dreading myn on Monday im convinced I will get a high risk nuchal and then have a two week wait for the result of the harmony :(

mrsb87 · 21/03/2014 18:12

Our little bean was being difficult so that was the best we could get ohthegoats. Also didn't help my bladder was completely empty despite drinking loads!

MundayCakes85 · 21/03/2014 18:18

Ohthegoats this is face on, hence now known in my head as alien!!
I've put on about a stone since Christmas, put on some when I came off the pill, put on some when I stopped smoking and some from general pregnancy. Not used to being this curvy but hope it'll all balance out by the end!! Won't stop me feeding myself/ baby when I'm hungry Smile

Akachan I totally feel your pain. I'm 11 weeks 2 days, my booking in app isn't until next Tues and I STILL DONT have a scan date. Have text my midwife this eve as she had told me I would hear through the post between 10-11 weeks.

ohthegoats · 21/03/2014 18:32

Ah sorry, I didn't mean that side photos are a bad thing - it's just those are the sort of pics that I always see. I googled for others and didn't really find many either. I suppose the profile is the interesting thing when the other pics are all bits and pieces of limbs!

Kirstipops · 21/03/2014 18:55

I'm definitely going to start swimming, actually planned to this week but was hit by massive tiredness!

Loulou888 · 21/03/2014 19:14

I want to go swimming too. Just too tired and sicky at the moment

puppythedog · 21/03/2014 19:34

To those of you wonderful ladies who are feeling unhappy with the lumpy bumpy additions to yourselves and to those with those additions who have received less than flattering comments from others I just want to say;

The thing you people are doing is amazing, I am in awe of Mrsthedog and also all of you. You are wonderful and I suspect you look wonderful to.

Evening all :)

Great scan pics!

I went along for the aquanatal class last night only to find it had been cancelled!!! Was so looking forward to the water offering me some.temporary pain relief but it wasnt to be! :(

Treated myself and dd to cos and chips from the chippy tonight! Yummy!

noimagination80 · 21/03/2014 19:53

Hi all!!!

Been off line for a bit, so gutted to see some losses. Words cant express Sad.

I had my booking in appointment last week, 12wk scan on the 4th. Really just want to see it. Regret not having an early scan but only two weeks to wait now.

Have been feeling rough the last two days, really bloated and just not great.

mrsb87 · 21/03/2014 21:18

Awwwwwww puppy you're such a charmer!

ExcitedCJ · 21/03/2014 21:26

puppy you are a lovely person. I've just read your post to my husband as he was wondering what I meant about being supportive. Poor confused guy couldn't understand why pulling up my jumper while on FaceTime to his sister to show off the baby wasn't supportive! I'm only 9+5!

Kirstipops · 21/03/2014 22:24

Aww puppy :)
I saw this video tonight on YouTube, it's so cute and should put a smile on your faces nearly as much as Puppy's post ;)

Further social embarrassment for me this evening - more public sleeping. This time I was on my own at a comedy gig, so doubly bad.
