We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

Stigz - I'm over 12 weeks, the appetite thing hasn't changed yet. I'm also still nauseous (no where near as bad as it was, but still there). Also still absolutely knackered and in bed by 9 most nights (9 hours sleep!), and my boobs still hurt and I still have digestion issues.

I don't believe the 12 week miracle thing!

magichandles · 20/03/2014 21:19

I have been aimlessly wandering round Sainsburys Local most mornings on the way after dropping DC1 at preschool spending a fortune on things I might possibly fancy eating that day.

Today I hit gold though and ended up having 2 frankfurter sandwiches on white bread with tomato ketchup and mustard - they were good!

pebble82 · 20/03/2014 21:25

Sazzle that's so funny, I'm craving pickled onion monster munch too. I ate two bags before my tea yesterday!

Does anyone know if boobs ever stop hurting throughout the pregnancy? Do all symptoms tend to fade after weeks 12-14 or just some?

binkybunny · 20/03/2014 21:34

Just having a fish finger sandwich having had steak pie earlier for dinner. I wanted prawn toast but DH refused to go out in the rain so I settled for fish fingers. I am turning into a whale!

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/03/2014 21:49

My boobs stopped hurting a couple of weeks ago pebble and certainly didn't hurt beyond the 1st trimester last time. Not sure that anything is the same for everyone when it comes to pregnancy though!

CODwidow · 20/03/2014 22:03

Im also over 12 weeks and have terrible indigestion, reflux and constant hunger. All I fancy is super noodles!

pebble82 · 20/03/2014 22:08

Mine are tender but the aching is nothing like a few weeks ago. Hopefully all pain will disappear soon then :-)

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/03/2014 22:11

Hoping this nausea will magically stop at 12 weeks! It's mild but nagging. Extreme thirst has kicked in..so annoying when combined with the frequent need to pee.
Another thing... I am much better at reading this thread than remembering to do my pelvic floor exercises so if anyone is willing to remind me in their posts every now and then that'd be awesome!

STIGZ · 20/03/2014 22:16

Ohthegoats .. I feel for you still suffering after 12 weeks..

I felt better after 12 weeks in my first pg but this time around sickness and nausea is much worse than the first ... So maybe i wont hold my breath on the 12 week thing ?

HumTeach1012 · 20/03/2014 22:17

We'll done sazzlehopes, I'm so excited for my scan tomorrow! Think I'll be able to relax a little more and enjoy it if I know everything is ok. Hope everyone else's scan goes well. Xx

MrsBadCrumble74 · 20/03/2014 22:34

Yay for lovely scan news :) MundayCakes we have the same EDD I think. I've been sitting quietly as an interloper hoping no-one will throw me out!
Need to buy maternity clothes as my trousers cannot cope with my wibbly wobbly tummy....

MrsDinoRawr · 21/03/2014 07:06

I hope everyone is right about symptoms fading at 12 weeks. I am 11 weeks today and yesterday I was sick 7 times. Spent more time in the toilet than teaching my class. normally just sick first thing in the morning. A child in my class threw up too and narrowly missed my ta! How do you know if its a sickness bug or pregnancy related. school have been great and given me a couple of pregnancy related sick days. But thought yesterday because I chose yo be pregnant I am expected to just get through the throwing up. whereas if it was illness i would have been sent home until after the weekend.

It is great hearing all the positive scan news. Is anyone thinking of posting scan photos to give us something to oooh and Ahhh over?

BingoBango85 · 21/03/2014 07:17

October is a v long month! Lovely hearing of the good scans but at only 9 weeks today and I'll be 12+6 on my scan.....it feels ages away. Boo. X

Lovely pic sazzle and your ds sounds so cute!

Good luck mrsb and all other scan people today.

pebble82 · 21/03/2014 07:48

Wow sazzle, I hope mine looks like that. So clear. I had no idea they look that good at 12 weeks!

ohthegoats · 21/03/2014 07:52

Ooh, scan photos. Nice. I've got a 10+5 one that looks quite good too. But tomorrow is 12+5, so hopefully that will be a clearer one.

Captainmcgraw · 21/03/2014 07:54

Ok I'm slightly freaking out this morning so just here for some possible reassurance. Have had no spotting at all this pregnancy (apart from 2 day implantation/breakthrough bleed). This morning (at 11+5) however I had a very small piece of dark brown tissue come out when I was in the shower. So now of course I'm panicking. Do you think this might be ok/left over from implantation or something to be concerned about? I have my booking in this afternoon so going to tell midwife of course. 1st scan on Thursday so I expect she'll just say wait until then. Oh god I hate early pregnancy!

binkybunny · 21/03/2014 08:06

Hi Captain. Last night I had two brown jelly like lumps of disharge on the tissue. I'm calling the midwife this morning as had spotting all day wednesday. Can't offer any advice but just to let you know I know what you are feeling. I'm quietly freaking out but trying to stay positive and level headed. Dr Google really didnt help either so dont look! I'm hoping because its dark brown its just old stuff coming out. Let us know how you get on x

Kirstipops · 21/03/2014 08:07

Awww dazzle that's a great pic! Your little boy sounds like such a cutie! My 12 week scan is on Monday, but here's my 10 week one, I was surprised it was so clear (usually I'm like Rachel from Friends who only sees a blob!) Looking forward to seeing more scan pics on here :)
Captain I think I read (possibly on this thread actually) that if it's brown it's OK, why not give your mw a call to set your mind at rest though. Good luck in upcoming scans folks, have a good Friday.

Kirstipops · 21/03/2014 08:09

Sazzle I mean, flipping auto correct!

MundayCakes85 · 21/03/2014 08:48

Ooh scan photos! Feel like sharing mine Smile
Captain speak to your midwife, she might be able to give you some reassurance. FX everything is fine. These first 12 weeks are far far worse than the 2 week wait we used to complain about!
In other news after practicing sleeping on my left I appear to have trapped something in my shoulder and will be next to useless to day Hmm

pebble82 · 21/03/2014 08:54

I can't sleep on my left. I default to my front every time :-(

Captain, if it's not red blood you should be ok. And even then it might be fine. The girl on OBEM this week had bleeding a lot all the way thtough and her baby was born perfect.

TroubleAndFyfe · 21/03/2014 09:10

Love the scan pics - I've never seen photos on MN before - only ever use the app on my phone usually!

sazzlehopes · 21/03/2014 09:13

Hopefully brown is ok, I'm sure red is not good. I'd call though this morning to be sure Captain.

It's nice seeing all these scan photos! Yay!
I had a nice full bladder - think it helps with having a clear picture!
