We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

I think the NHS website says you can have prawns if they're cooked - you can even have them cold if they've been cooked then chilled.

mum2kiss · 20/03/2014 16:24

Oh I realise I 'can' eat prawns...its just since being preggers I get severe stomach pain and indigestion so im avoiding anything prawn related!!! I had the same issue with dd except with her it was mushrooms!! She wont touch a mushroom.now lol!

gunwalloe · 20/03/2014 16:38

Back from the dentist couldn't have the infected tooth pulled as she wanted a up to date x-ray which I didn't want taken so had root canal but the anaesthetic didn't work properly due to the infection shes done what she can so now im waiting for my mouth to stop being numb to see if its worked fingers crossed.

Hi everyone just checking in, glad people are having good scans and sorry for those feeling pants.

I am 10+5 today, feelings pretty rubbish, sore boobs, nausea and extreme tiredness. I've been sent iron sincemy bloods at booking showed up anemia, but they want me on 3 a day and I've only managed one a day so far, because the first one I took in the morning came straight back up. Trying 2 today to see if I can stomach it after a few days of 1.

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/03/2014 16:58

Ah, sazzle and hum are tomorrow- sorry, too early for me this morning!
Great news Munday! :)

CareBearWithFangs · 20/03/2014 17:02

Afternoon Smile

Glad to hear your good scan news Munday. Sounds like it was lovely.

Wiggy I am enjoying having boobs again too. Mine have been a bit flat and deflated since DD but so far I seem to have gone back to the boobs I had at 21 Grin

Not feeling as nauseous today which is amazing but I'm still knackered. DD had a massive meltdown this morning because I was too tired to jump on the bed with her Hmm

My arm is still sore where the midwives took my bloods of Tuesday, I've never had a bruise this big from having blood taken before. It's massive!

ToffeeJungle · 20/03/2014 17:09

Aw, loulou I can sympathise! The past few weeks haven't been great for me esp the last week. I'm 10 + 5 and just waiting to start to feel better! I never felt this bad with DC1!
I went to the docs today and she said I have a chest infection so am now on (safe in pregnancy) antibiotics. She also I had probably fractured a rib through coughing so much so sugested paracetamol for the pain! Nightmare.
That together with mornin sickness and extreme tiredness mean I'm not a very happy bunny at th mo!
Feel bad too as DC1 (18 months) hasn't had hardly any attention from me and the poor little thing wonders why mummy isn't playing / doing anything.
Just want to feel better and more energised!!

pusscous · 20/03/2014 17:27

Congratulations everyone on the positve scans- hope it pervails for those waiting for theirs.

i am still really tired and enjoying be able to have nap throughout the day Smile. My waist is also disappearing, tummy bloated in the day by morning nice and flat. I did put some weight on in January/ Feb as were living in temporary accomadation and had to eat out every night and America is the not the most healthest for this! Im normally really active and train at gym a lot. We have joined a gym and as part of package had two free sessions with a trainer. Im a very lucky to have a pre + post natal qualified trainer, but she was quite rude about the weight gain and desmissive of amount of muscle I have/ previous weight- my body tends to build muscle very easily. Felt quite annoyed but will go back for a workout plan- I think...

Loulou888 · 20/03/2014 17:31

Hope the antibiotics kick in soon toffeejungle nothing worse than illness on top of morning sickness x

sazzlehopes · 20/03/2014 18:13

Congrats on your good scan munday, great news.

Thought I'd let you know just got back from mine and all was well too. That was a long 12 week wait to see it but all good! They've moved me back too, due dtd now 27th sept but I know this will be an oct baby!! Hooray feel I can at last relax and start to enjoy being pregnant Xx

sazzlehopes · 20/03/2014 18:13

Sorry due date!! Not dtd Blush

Bumpforme2014 · 20/03/2014 18:29

Evening all, yay for happy scan news and more to come from the rest of us. I was exhausted today and have already decided to call in sick tomorrow so was very interested to read how many of you have done the same. It seems so naughty and wrong to call in sick when I'm not actually throwing up (just violent gagging) but there's no point in me being at work with no energy not concentrating and being in bad mood with everyone. Still feel bad so please tell me it's okay....

queenasanti3 · 20/03/2014 18:46

Scan next week, hopefully everything will be ok, feeling a little worried ive lost 3lb since my booking appointment, I was thinking I would have started to put weight on by now, especially as iam not trying to lose weight either.
Hope everyone eles is ok, and happy for all those who have had their scan already x

TroubleAndFyfe · 20/03/2014 19:00

Yay Sazzle!!! Grin

mrsb87 · 20/03/2014 19:04

Great news sazzle! Really pleased for you. My turn in the morning Grin

ohthegoats · 20/03/2014 19:17

Cool, another good scan!

STIGZ · 20/03/2014 19:22

Congratulations on positive scans today!! I feel like mines is near yet so far !! This first trimester seems to be dragging by?? Or is it just me?

Still have absolutly no appetite- getting worried!! I have no desire at all for fruit or veg or anything "nutritious" usually i cant get enough salad and veggies!! Cant stomach cereal or my usual porrige oats!!

Im surviving on toast, baked potatoe, beans & noodles!

Im dying to be a total pig!!

MundayCakes85 · 20/03/2014 19:34

Congratulations Sazzle! You, me and Ohtgegoats can hide in the thread and hope no one works out we're interlopers!!
Feel sorry for those still struggling with feeling poorly/ tired/ generally crap. It seems at the magic 12 week mark it all starts getting a bit better (FX for you all Smile )

ohthegoats · 20/03/2014 19:35

Stigz - weirdly, I'm having appetite issues at the moment too. But if I want to eat, it's fruit.

Feels like I have a new a bizarre food thing going on every couple of days though. I can't shop for the week or anything like that, because my tastes are changing so wildly. Can't even buy a 4 pack of yoghurt.. who knows when after 'yoghurt day' when I eat three, I'll actually ever eat the other one.

gunwalloe · 20/03/2014 19:44

Don't tell anyone but I wont be having my baby in October either although its due 3rd Oct I have to have a cs a week or two ( still not sure which) early :)

sazzlehopes · 20/03/2014 19:50

Thanks everyone!
Good luck tomorrow morning mrsB.
Queen - don't worry, my belly is huge and I've not put on any weight from when they weighed me at my booking in appointment 2 weeks ago. It seems to mean nothing, especially as they put me 5 days ahead.
Stigz - all i want is pickled onion monster munch. Ooops.

Me23 · 20/03/2014 19:57

Glad the scans have gone well long may it continue :-) I have mine on Monday, wonder if well have any twins on this thread well hopefully not me!

I've been feeling tired and dizzy lately, want some energy back.

binkybunny · 20/03/2014 20:11

Yay great news on the scans. So nice to hear good news :-)

My tastes are changing so fast poor DH cant keep up. The thing I love one day makes me gag the next. I'm running out of food!

STIGZ · 20/03/2014 20:29

Oh im glad its not just me with the appetite thing...

Thats me just had my dinner.,, 2 slices of bread and butter with salt & vinager sqaure crisps in the middle .,, literally had to force it down as my stomach is growling and im dry heaving because i have not ate in 5 hours!!

This feeling is horrendous... Obviously not getting enough calories is probably why im feeling so bloody drained!

Really feel for my dd as when i finish up work on wednesday i dont want to go over the door till monday again!! .... Roll on 12 weeks...

porcito · 20/03/2014 20:34

Congrats on the good scans! Great news.

I'm also struggling to find things to eat. I've been having potatoes for the past 12 weeks but now Mexico seems to have run out of them!
