We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

Wow I was just coming on to ppst about dizziness! I was just in the kitchen doing mine and dps dinner whenI came over all.short of bbreath and fuzzy headed! I called him and he's coming home from work...I really thought I was going to pass out! Ive had some mild cramping earlier today too...now I'm super worried. Thedidizziness has subsided and ive eaten dinner...now I just feel sick :(

MrsF2510 · 17/03/2014 19:25

carebear during very early pregnancy when I got up quickly I felt dizzy (4-6wks) and 2 weeks ago, like pebble82, I was in the shower and felt like I was goin to faint. I had to open the shower door and breathe cold air and squat for about 2 minutes before getting out. DH had only cleaned the shower an hr before I got in so it could've been heat / chemical fumes but fortunately has not happened since.

Me23 · 17/03/2014 19:33

Yep dizziness has been affecting me for about 2 weeks now it is due to low blood pressure and very common in early pregnancy. My Bp is a lot lower now than when non pregnant 96/58 vs 110/72! So have been feeling the effects weak, dizzy and sick. Thought I was going to faint on the way home today in the car, then remembered I've hardly had any fluids today so have been drinking lots of water.

Cod, don't worry, the depot won't have caused any developmental problems. Xxx

Well i am also craving junk food (when im not feeling sick)!

When i had my dd i spoke to midwife regarding my diet and breastfeeding ( i basically wanted to know if i was going to have to worry myself sick about for another however many months about what i was putting into my body)

She said that women living in 3rd world countries dont have access to all the "foods we eat to keep mother & baby healthy" and some lucky if they eat at all and they manage to have baby's and breastfeed for many months
This always sticks in my mind!

Just look at africa's population!!' So im making mines a large big mac meal (",) ...and a carmel sundae!!

Bumpforme2014 · 17/03/2014 19:51

Seems like we are all having similar symptoms at moment, lots of burps, gagging, retching in morning but nothing coming up just so much spit - rank. Exhausted again, palpitations, short of breath, headaches!

F2510 I am also 11 weeks on weds, have you chased up your scan date?

STIGZ · 17/03/2014 19:58

I was 8 weeks on wednesday and now i have morning noon & night sickness!!!

MrsF2510 · 17/03/2014 19:58

Bump I haven't chased it up as the midwife said I would hear between 10-11wks through the post. I don't even have my booking appointment until next Tues.

Loulou888 · 17/03/2014 20:01

carebear I seem to be experiencing a lot of "head rush" symptoms if I get up too fast. magic it's the DH who is really pushing for a surprise I know what you mean I do think if left up to me I would find out

Kirstipops · 17/03/2014 20:23

I definitely want a surprise, my sister and a few of my friends seem to think it's a boy for some reason! Interesting talk about hair growth apparently determining sex, I wasn't aware of that!
I'm 12 weeks on Thursday, still get a wee head rush if I get up too quickly in the morning, that's the only time though. My kitten, who is massively affectionate at the best of times, has taken to snuggling up to my tum in bed in the morning, wonder if she'll be as keen when bump starts to kick!

ohthegoats · 17/03/2014 21:22

Definitely had dizziness - quite a lot today. It goes back to when I asked about where people 'feel' their nausea... for me it's quite often about my head rather than anywhere else. Was having to wake up in the morning and lie very still in bed for awhile before getting up. I had a really low blood pressure before I got pregnant though (dodgily low - 80/60), but it had seemed more normal last time I got done.

The healthier cravings have been going on in the last week - broccoli and apples and pineapples. LOTS of them. I actually can hear myself making MMMMMMMM noises when I'm eating them too. They just seem so goddam tasty.

pebble82 · 17/03/2014 21:33

Good grief OBEM is crazy tonight. What a brave woman being in pain through c section!

TroubleAndFyfe · 17/03/2014 21:36

I've never been on edge like that during OBEM pebble! Shock Incredible woman and one lucky guy!

ohthegoats · 17/03/2014 21:45

What happened?

pebble82 · 17/03/2014 21:49

the anaesthetic didn't work properly!!! But the woman didn't want her husband having to leave the room for the birth (if she had general he'd have to) so battled through the pain. Unbelievable.

ExcitedCJ · 17/03/2014 21:51

Oops! Daft phone.
I too have been feeling very dizzy & on the verge of blacking out. Had to sit down on the stairs today for fear of falling down them.
I'm travelling this week & have been on planes, trains & automobiles since 8:30am, only just arrived to my hotel. I'm with work people all week & I am going to be under the spotlight for not drinking every night. I fear I may crack under the pressure!

binkybunny · 17/03/2014 21:51

I would be screaming for the GA if I was the c-section lady on OBEM!

ohthegoats · 17/03/2014 21:54

Urgh, and given herself PTSD/nightmares for life. I'm not sure I could be convinced it was worth it, and I'd be FUMING with my boyfriend if he let me do that. Ha. Wimp here.

ohthegoats · 17/03/2014 21:55

In fact, I'm surprised that the surgeons would even do that.

binkybunny · 17/03/2014 22:02

I have juat told DH that if I get to that stage I WILL be having GA. I can't imagine feeling all that- eurgh. Also a huge wimp here but managed an entire OBEM even DH watched it!

pebble82 · 17/03/2014 22:04

as the weeks go by with this show my anxiety is getting worse. I used to be fascinated but now just scared. Probably should just stop watching but feel I have to as part of preparing. 10 weeks and terrified. The next 30 are not going to be fun!

binkybunny · 17/03/2014 22:10

pebble I have found the opposite. Last week was the first time I watched it since my BFP and I felt calmer after about labour. It's just lovely seeing the parents and babies at the end Smile

Kirstipops · 17/03/2014 22:21

Oh my god that sounds horrific! Ooft I won't be watching that!!

pusscous · 18/03/2014 02:51

eek that scenario from OBEM sounds like the stuff of nightmares. I remember one birth from a previous series where the baby was stuck almost out. They had been rushed to the OT and OB's were trying to yank the baby out, having to break arms and collar bone, all the while with the time ticking down. They made it just in time as mother/ baby's heart rate dropping. Scary stuff.
