We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

Teehee thanks trouble that had the desired effect this morning!

Well I don't want to count my chickens but I think I'm on the up. 5 vom free days and counting. I actually managed to make some French toast last night. Dh was late from work and the nausea from hunger was unbearable! First time I've spent more than 5 minutes in the kitchen in just over 5 weeks.
I'm now really hoping to get back to work soon!!

pebble82 · 14/03/2014 08:16

I'm feeling fine too. My boobs aren't as sore, just a bit tender. Obviously, given other people's news I'm completely worried and stressed out about it. Wish we had some way of testing for a hb at home.

sazzlehopes · 14/03/2014 11:38

So sorry to run. Just terrible to go through that alone. Hope you are back at home and being well looked after x

binkybunny · 14/03/2014 12:25

Yay Mrsb! Hope you get back to normality soon!

daphnehoneybutt · 14/03/2014 12:50

Sorry to run, duggi and blueberry Sad

It's still so early I am quite worried but trying to keep positive.

I am seeing midwife at 10 weeks at its my first. My friend saw midwife at 9wks and said she was worried about MMC, so the midwife used Doppler on her and she got to hear the heartbeat! Which was pretty cool but doesn't sound standard.

There is a serious condition in my husbands family but he knows he is not a carrier of gene (disease is male = affected or unaffected and only females can carry the gene), I don't know whether to mention it when I go or whether it will set them off in a frenzy...

daphne I'm in the same position as you..DH has a rare condition that is only passed on through the maternal side..so although he & his brothers have symptoms, their offspring won't have it, his sisters kids will.

I've mentioned it with both of my previous pregnancies...condition is so rare that the mw's just note it & research it later but because it's only passed in via maternal side, they're not really concerned. I've had mw led axe did my last 2 pregnancies, all totally fine.. Only concerned person was the HV for DD (my most recent birth)...she wanted to investigate that no further hearing tests were required, which they weren't..

Hope that puts your mind at ease...but I find it best to tell them everything anyway, just in case..

Grannyapple · 14/03/2014 13:10

Axe= care!

run so sorry to read your news...look after yourself honey xx

daphnehoneybutt · 14/03/2014 13:21

Thanks Granny

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 14/03/2014 13:25

Can someone please take me off the list, had a follow up scan today and it seems baby must have stopped growing just after we had last weeks scan, hasn't grown since and no heartbeat. I hope the rest of you get better news.

gunwalloe · 14/03/2014 13:38

Such terrible scan news today :( so sorry to duggi, blueberry and loopy. I thought mc and mmc was supposed to be rare?!!!

ExcitedCJ · 14/03/2014 14:28

Trouble thanks for the link really made me smile :)
I had an early scan today and all was well, strong heart beat & measuring 8+5. The lovely radiographer lady gave me another appointment for 2 weeks so that I don't have to wait until 12 week scan & booking in appt. Smile Smile Smile

Loulou888 · 14/03/2014 16:13

Oh loopy I'm so sorry take care of yourself. A lot of terrible news for people lately. Hope that's it now. Good to have some positive news excitedcj x

Kirstipops · 14/03/2014 16:15

So sorry Loopy :(
Glad to hear your good news ExcitedCJ, that's good you don't have to wait long for your next scan and will have another "portrait" of your wee one soon!
I had a dream the other night my purse had been stolen, which had my scan pic in and I was raging with myself that I hadn't made any copies. Anyone else having crazy dreams?
P.s. Trouble, great link re: pregnant midwife, I hadn't even thought of how the experience would be from their side!

ExcitedCJ · 14/03/2014 16:28

Oh Loopy I'm sorry. I didn't see your post when I posted.

We have a very high number of sad stories in our numbers. I am keeping everything crossed for all the rest on the list & hope that everyone that has had sad news can have some happy news very soon. X

TroubleAndFyfe · 14/03/2014 16:29

Sorry Loopy! Sad Thanks
Congratulations excitedcj, that's brilliant news! Grin

Bumpforme2014 · 14/03/2014 18:41

Sorry to all those with sad news, it really is scary how many mmc there are on this thread. Seems to be all from early scans though so perhaps there have been previous problems?

I have my 12 week scan on Tuesday and I am hoping I will come back with more positive news, think I'm the first 12 weeks scan person active on this thread. I won't be 12 weeks though more like 11, like you pebble my sore boobs have eased but nipples now so itchy and darker, currently waking every two hours to wee as well.

Other then that I feel pretty good, tired and short of breath in evenings I'm very, very nervous about Tuesday as don't feel pregnant most of the time.

pebble82 · 14/03/2014 18:51

How exciting bump. I'm sure all will be fine for you. When I get my scan I'll be more like 11 weeks too but mine isn't until 27th. 1 week 6 days to go. Hope you don't end up wishing away your weekend!

mum2kiss · 14/03/2014 19:17

I booked my scan today...1st April...now starting to panic about twins, nuchal fold testing, mmc...2 weeks and 4 days to go!!!

Glad all went well for you excited

TroubleAndFyfe · 14/03/2014 19:19

Yay, not long to go Bump! I don't feel pregnant most of the time either, boobs haven't been sore for ages now. It was just the same with my DS though so I know it's not a reason to worry.

gunwalloe · 14/03/2014 19:20

bump I have a NHS scan on Tuesday. I didn't want to have it as was worried about multiple scans on the baby but the hospital have said they need there own scan information even though im having a harmony test and nuchal scan done privately

ohthegoats · 14/03/2014 19:59

I'm 12 weeks on Monday, have second Harmony/Nuchal related scan next Saturday. My midwife said that since I was doing those two, I wouldn't need an NHS one - I'm fine with that, why use up the space if they haven't really got room for me.

I also finally got a letter from the consultant - appointment booked right in the middle of my holiday! It's supposed to be at 16 weeks I think.

Sorry to those with bad news. This whole thing is frankly terrifying - I thought it was supposed to be exciting...

gunwalloe · 14/03/2014 20:02

ohthegoats I wish my midwife had said that, she didn't even know what the harmony test was and even after I explained she still said I had to have a hospital one so I phoned the hospital thinking they would love a cancelled appointment to make room for others but they said they needed there own data its such a pain!
