We're going through these fast! Thought seen as we were filling up the last thread fast I'd attempt a new thread, not sure how to copy our due date list over though... Could someone else do that?

It's my first Stigz and I've been told it'll be around 11 weeks for me to see anyone. In my case they said they're just really busy.

Loopylu84 · 13/03/2014 13:29

I self referred to my local hospital rather than going to the GP-emailed through the referral and had a letter through 2 days later with my first booking appt and 12wk scan date-was only 4wks plus a few days at that point so it all seemed like ages away! I'm 9 weeks today and have the booking appointment on Monday, 12 week scan is 3 weeks today-can't wait! Grin

ohthegoats · 13/03/2014 13:38

I saw a midwife at 8+3, I think because of the Factor V Leiden and heparin thing (I was happy to wait until March 17th, which was the first 'real' date they had available). 12 week scan will be part of Harmony thing, so 2 weeks after the initial viability scan - I'll be 12+5, it's next Saturday. The weeks are flying by for me at the moment - mostly due to work I think. Building up to SATs, so it never feels as if there is enough time in the week.

I took a mental health afternoon. I have a cold, I'm coughing so much it hurts my ribs, I'm not in class on a Thursday anyway.. but I'm supposed to stay in school. Decided to sack that off today, and came home. Considering the amount of time I could have been off with feeling rancid earlier on in Jan and Feb, I've convinced myself I deserve this extra time sat in bed!

hefner · 13/03/2014 15:23

Good luck with your scan Run. I've just moved house too, it feels like we've unpacked a million boxes but there are still loads left. The house needs quite a bit of work and we're determined to get it all done before October. I've just had my scan appointment through and I'll be about 13 or 14 weeks Sad. I was hoping to have it sooner as I'll be nervous until I've seen the heartbeat.

Me23 · 13/03/2014 16:38

Had my booking appt my scan is on 24th march. Just packing for a long weekend away at relatives.

bumpbangbump · 13/03/2014 17:26

Snap me23. We're scan date buddies. I think there's someone else that day as well... Can't remember who though!

MrsF2510 · 13/03/2014 17:52

I too akachan and stigz am disappointed that my booking isn't until the 25th and I will be 11 wks 6 days and don't have my scan date through yet so probably going to have to wait ages! My first pregnancy too - boo! Was a nightmare to speak to midwife on phone as we were always busy (at work) when the other tried to call.

Kirstipops · 13/03/2014 17:54

I'm 24th March too! I had a good 10 wk scan so not feeling quite as nervous this time round, excited to have a longer look as my 10wk one was so quick, broken up by the scan technician sending me to pee because my bladder was upstaging my uterus haha! I'm bang on 11 weeks today. Early night for me after a late night out on Tuesday has floored me a bit since!

RunDMC · 13/03/2014 18:38

Not good news here from my scan this morning I'm afraid. They saw a yolk sac and fetal pole but no heartbeat, measuring approx 5 weeks. Been here before so I know this is a missed miscarriage and I'm out. Can someone take me off the stats list please ?

Good luck to all and hope its plain sailing for the next 6-7 months.

STIGZ · 13/03/2014 18:55

Rundmc honestly so so sorry to hear that, my heart goes out to you and your family xxx

FlipFantasia · 13/03/2014 18:59

Run so very sorry Hmm - it must have been extra hard as you had travelled down alone for it. Take care of yourself xxx

Duggi and Blueberry also so sorry to hear your news Hmm

Home in New Jersey last night after my two weeks in ireland. Travelling alone with the 2 smallies was hard, but glad I did it. I'm now properly able to be sick - have a bad cold, temperature, stuffed nose, aches, sore throat, cough (which can make me retch and even puke)...DH took today off work so I stayed in bed til 2pm! Bliss to be able to hand over the kids and sleep in my own bed (even if I do feel physically terrible!).

Still bouts of nausea every day, with some puking. Still knackered. But was thinking it won't be long til movements start (my favourite bit!). They started around 18/19 weeks with DS and 15/16 weeks with dd. Hoping no 3 is even sooner (am 10+2).

STIGZ · 13/03/2014 19:02

Cant beleive some of you on your first pregnancy and not being seen by mw till 11th week of pg???

When i had my first dd im sure it was about 8 weeks and only found when i was 6 weeks+ (first pg 4 years ago). Guess a mixture of budget cuts and high demand on the nhs ?!

Loulou888 · 13/03/2014 19:12

run I'm so sorry hope you have lots of support at home. What an awful thing to go through on your own x

bythesea82 · 13/03/2014 19:20

Run so sorry to hear that and sorry that you had to deal with it on your own. X

fatpony · 13/03/2014 19:32

Run, you poor thing and being on your own in London :(

It seems quit common now to have late scans; this is my first pregnancy and I have my booking in at 12+2 and then scan 12+4. Cannot wait as no symptoms at all! My DH sometimes anxiously asks 'are you sure you are pregnant'?!

Kirstipops · 13/03/2014 19:59

Oh Run what a rotten bleak experience for you to be down in London on your own and getting that news, hope you are back home with your loved ones now.

pusscous · 13/03/2014 20:19

Run- so sorry to hear your news.

I had my booking in appointment with a nurse on Monday, was 9+3. Bloods were done yesterday at a separate clinic. The nurse had wanted to confirm pregnancy with a urine test, but I was not forewarned and this had to be done at the same time as the blood. 6 vials of blood taken no problem, absolutely desperate for the loo. Given the sample container and could literally only squeeze a few drops out! Seemed to take ages as well and all the staff turned to look at me as I walked out of the toilet. Embarrassing Blush Husband chuckled when told- he was waiting to drive me.

Will have scan on Monday at 10+3 with OB for dating seems to be earlier than home and have to book further scans for anomalies. At least get to see little one more. Hopefully, all going well.

ExcitedCJ · 13/03/2014 20:23

Oh Run I hope you are wrapped up warm & safe. So sorry. Sad

hefner · 13/03/2014 21:10

So sorry to hear that Run.

TroubleAndFyfe · 13/03/2014 21:58

Sad Oh no, sorry run, that's terrible news!

Wiggy29 · 13/03/2014 22:06

Sending you love run, so sorry to hear that. I know you said you've been before but I imagine that just makes it harder. Thinking of you and dp.

Me23 · 13/03/2014 22:24

run I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope you have lots of support around you.

pebble82 · 13/03/2014 23:04

Sending lots of hugs to Run. So sad that you had to go something so traumatic alone.

Very scary how there's been a few terrible experiences in this group :-(

CareBearWithFangs · 14/03/2014 07:17

So sorry run. Hope your home now and being taken care of.

TroubleAndFyfe · 14/03/2014 07:21
