Hi ladies,
Been watching for a few days but thought it was time to join if that's ok? Got my bfp last Wednesday but then had a bleed Thursday and was seen at epu Friday afternoon. Had a scan but was only about 4 weeks (thought I was more like 6 but must have ovd later than I thought) so have to go back next Friday for another scan to hopefully see heartbeat. 1st pregnancy for me and OH so a bit nervous and unsure what is normal and what isn't.

Staff at the EPU were lovely, so I'm sad for those of you that have had bad experiences with your local units as their kindness made such a difference when I was scared (and alone as hubby was at work)

Urge every time I feel more confident something happens and I think the worst again. Just been to the toilet and there was light brown tinged cm on the tissue. Just put a pad in, obviously hoping nothing more happens.

Sorry been so rubbish been very very poorly and been in hospital with hyperemesis gravidarum! When I read I feel queasy so just been avoiding mn and my phone in general! Am on anti sickness tablets but feel I'm on the downward spiral again and think another hospital stop will be needed! Even with how ill I have been I have not been able to bring my booking in appointment forward ! It's a week on Thursday! I am 8+3 at the mo!
Hating this I just cannot function or do anything! Would wish HG on anyone! Not even my worst enemy

I have the eby jeebies. I have read about so many people going to scans and getting bad news Ive almost convinced myself that its going to happen to me. Add in the improvement of ms and Im worrying and I feel like I need to prepare myself for the worst. I even had a dream last night that I got out of bed and saw a pool of blood on the sheets. My heads a mess.

Whiteblossom, I know exactly how you feel - I feel the same and it's awful but I'm kind of dreading this scan as at the moment I'm in blissful ignorance mode where I can believe everything is fine. I always thought getting pregnant was going to be the hardest part. Clearly not

I think I read that fairy pants is also having a scan today? What time? Will look out for your post. Mine is at 10am so least I don't have to wait all day x

I am a bit intimidated by this thread as there are so many of you here! But it's hard in the early days of pregnancy, when you're not telling anyone for a while. So I thought I'd say hi and chat a bit here!

I got my coil out at Christmas and am over the moon that I got pregnant right away. I did a test after my period was a week late… I think my estimated due date is 27 Sept. So far just feeling a bit sick and tired, and trying not to get too excited at this early stage, I am only 5+4. I have a 16 month old DD who is great, I can't wait to give her a baby brother or sister.
