kmini · 10/01/2014 08:01

Phew....thanks ladies.

noitsachicken · 10/01/2014 08:38

Morning all,
punky hope you are ok this morning.

I am feeling rough! Woken at 4 by DS who then only settled in our bed, where he squirmed and kicked until we gave up at 6.30, he seems to be full of energy and is very loud this morning!

ThisIsMeNow · 10/01/2014 08:38

So sorry to hear that punky. I really hope it's not but sending some positive vibes your way incase you need them.

KitKat1985 · 10/01/2014 09:04

Wishing you luck today Punky. Hope GP can confirm it's not what you feared. Apparently some bleeding early on is fairly common, and does not always mean something is wrong. xxx
This morning took my 7th pregnancy test this week (it's all so surreal to me I need to constantly check I'm not imagining it, or that I haven't lost bean already). Am reassured it came up 'pregnant 2-3' meaning I'm now in weeks 4-5, which ties up with my dates, and means hormone levels must be biulding. These first few weeks are horrendously anxiety provoking aren't they?

Kt1991 · 10/01/2014 09:17

Sorry havn’t had a chance to post since my last one this, group moves so quick! Newlywed, please could you add me to the list, EDD is 16th Sept.
Anyway I’ll introduce myself more with my stats :)

Stats
Age: me 22, 23 next week, DH 25, 26 in May.
DC's: DS1 3y’s on 1st Feb
TTC: 6 months, but only 4 cycles as I have PCOS.
Live: South East.

So far we have told our parents and grandparents, will tell everyone else after the scan, although think I will be telling my work soon, as I have to usually carry boxes etc, so don’t want to risk anything! I do like the idea of DS in a T-shirt though, think that is very cute!

kitkat Glad I’m not the only one who feels bloated like that! My work skirt is usually quite loose, but put it on yesterday and its so tight! No idea what I’m gonna wear further on!

If docs go by first day of last period, mine was 3rd Dec, but my cycles are every 5 weeks, how many weeks would this make me? I got 2-3 weeks on the digi on Wed. If someone could help me work out I’m useless with dates, and can’t really remember much in my DS’s pregnancy!

Hope your okay punky, and you get some positive news

isitme1 · 10/01/2014 09:30

Ladies I do suggest having a look at the next sale. Ive bought a few pieces from there.

My pants that fit me all the way to 6months with ds2 are getting tight!!
I wore a dress last night as dh took me and my parents out and my boobs were at bursting point!!

waffles Natalie will walk round saying I want waffles lol Grin is dr byrd back yet?? Im under her care but she wasn't there last year. I have so much respect for st marys! While I was waiting to be induced there was a pretty big dr and once he walked by I said to dh I hope he doesn't do my internal. Around 10 hours later it was that dr who saved my life! After a pph. He just kept apologising about meeting us in that situation. Such a nice hospital. And the male sonographer ben he was really nice too .

lol.
Punky I hope all is ok do let us know how you are x

theonlyseven can I please ask how do you cope? This will be mt 3rd in 4years! And im only bloody 21 lol.
The hardest is ds1 as he has sn and has a lot of hospital appointments. Ds2 has hospital appointments too due to skull deformity. Im fucked if they have to operate. Ah well. Mothers have always juggled and we will have to cope.
Hope everyones ok x

kmini · 10/01/2014 09:35

I am also struggling with the bloat & a massive step down in my exercise regime (for obvious reasons) is making me feel very fatty indeed.

I just bought two wrap dresses from Banana Republic, as they are having 25% off today (i'm such a su**er for an offer). I did promise myself no buying until through the 1st trimester, but the only thing that has felt comfortable this week at work was a wrap dress. So, I am rationalising that it is an ok expense & that I will wear them regardless.

Whilst I am offering product endoresments, one other rec for you ladies. Heath & Heather Lemon & Ginger tea (bought at Holland and Barret). Normally I love Pukka teas (love their 3 mint), but their Ginger one was not pleasant. This one is lovely and mild & very pleasant on an nausous tum.

twinkbat · 10/01/2014 09:40

Think I'm out. Massive sharp pain and cramp, dr thinks it's only a matter of time now until I get proper bleed rather than just spotting.Confused

TheOnlySeven · 10/01/2014 09:55

twinkbat I'm so sorry to hear that :(

punky I know it doesn't look good but do remember that some women do just bleed for no reason. Don't give up hope just yet x

isit only advice is to focus on each day at a time. My DS has muscluar dystrophy so attends lots of appointments, he's ok at he moment but quite weak so needs extra help.

newlywed I'm not on the stats, EDD is 13/9. What the hell does team yellow mean though?

Can I advise people not to keep using the CB digital tests to see the weeks increase? You're just wasting your money. I've seen so many threads on here by devastated women assuming the worst when the weeks don't increase, when it's usually always just that the test wasn't accurate enough.

OP posts:
Sleepisf0rwimps · 10/01/2014 10:01

I'm not on the stats either. EDD 20th I think?

I'm guessing Team Yellow is not knowing the sex :)

Hope things are okay for you today punky. Have you in my thoughts.

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 10:10

Kt1991 my DS1 is 6 on Feb 1st! so they share the same birthday Smile

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 10:31

Feeling for you noitsachicken, my youngest was 3 on halloween and shes just got to the stage of sleeping through pretty much every night now apart from the occasional bed wetting or losing her dodi during the night that is! How old is your LO?

KitKat1985 i bet you'll feel a little like that until your first scan - with my DS1 i was so nervous sat in the waiting room at my 12 wk scan convincing myself they would turn around and say 'theres nothing in there!' lol. but ofcourse they didnt, it just didnt feel real until we saw him on the screen for the first time. Cant wait for that feeling again Smile - its my DH's first baby so itl be such a huge moment for him even more than me.

isitme1 i salute you - you sound like you're pretty good at multi tasking already! im so worried about how i will cope with 3, my other 2 are 6 and 3, i had my first at 21 so i kind of feel like the whole of my 20's i have been looking after small children and its been hard adjusting going from being free and in university to being a Mummy! maybe i can enjoy my 30's with them being older - well, this buba will be 1.5 when i turn 30 anyway and then no more for me! ha.

kmini you should totally feel ok about buying the wrap dresses -the earlier you buy your maternity wear the more 'wear' you will get out of it Grin

Ive also read that TheOnlySeven, some women saying they had 1-2 weeks show up for a whole 2 weeks then suddenly the next one they did said 3+ so i wouldnt buy them purposely to see the weeks changing, i have 2 more on there way in the post that i purchased before getting my BFP so i will use them just for the fun of it but i wont be concerned if it still says 1-2. Ill wait for the scan and take the professionals word for it!

Hope everything is ok twinkbat, thinking of you and fingers crossed

Im also not on the stats - EDD (i think) is 14th Sept, first month of TTC, will be DS3 but DS1 for my DH Grin
I am 27, DH is 25, DS1 is 6 and DD1 is 3
We live in Wales

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 10:32

wow that was a long post! sorry guys Blush

I should actually get some work done...all my boss does these days is pay me to scroll through mumsnet!

hereshoping2014 · 10/01/2014 10:41

Hi,
I haven't done my stats...whoops....

I'm 32, DH 33.
Due date hopefully 6th September
I say hopefully as we have had 3 m/c.
So I'm very nervous and panicky right now!
Had bfp on Sunday and digital said 2-3, took test again today and digital says 3+. Was a relief as I'm terrified of m/c. Looking forward to chatting to you all!

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 10:50

hi hereshoping2014 congrats Grin Good sign the weeks have gone up for u on the digi.
Im nervous too, conceived first month after coil removal and heard so many stories about mc due to uterus lining being so thin that soon after coil removal - im not usually a worrier but im staying a little cautious this time..

KitKat1985 · 10/01/2014 10:56

twinkbat I truly hope it's not what you think. Let us know how it goes. Will be thinking of you and punky today.

theonly seven and mummyinpink - Yeah I think I'm done with HPTs now. Not least because I can't afford any more! I think I just wanted to be certain that I most definitely am as have Drs appointment this afternoon and terrified doctor is going to turn around and say I'm not pregnant and it's all in my head (though even I have to concede that 7 positive tests this week seems fairly conclusive...). Am definitely convinced as well that there will be nothing to be seen on the scan. Am glad I'm not the only one who has these anxieties!

I was also confused by the team yellow thing. Thank you for clarifying sleepisforwimps!

kmini I also told myself no maternity clothes until out of the first trimester. However not sure I'll have a choice soon. Really uncomfortable in some of my 'normal' clothes. So what I'm saying is I think the wrap dress is a totally justified purchase. Also like mummyinpink said, at least this way you get a decent amount of wear out of it.

Right, must try and do something productive this morning on my day off, and not just sitting around reading pregnancy related things..... Again.

sittingpretty25 · 10/01/2014 10:57

I'm not on the stats either -

I'm 26, DH 27
1st DC, EDD 11th September (5 weeks tomorrow)
TTC 6 months (and I'm also terrified of MC)

Punky and Twinkbat, hope everything is ok for you both!!

hereshoping2014 · 10/01/2014 11:03

Thanks mummyinpink! Congrats to you too!I'm definitely a worrier so I'm trying to be calm. It's hard tho isn't it?:-z

Hubbythecatandme · 10/01/2014 11:27

Kmini, I think it does come and go.
Mummyinpink do enjoy the no symptom, I was happy with the tiredness but I am now 6+4 and this feeling "seasick" all day is starting to make me despair :( I hate feeling like this but never mind it's all do the baby. I too used to feel only a bit nauseous if I let myself go hungry.... Well looks like it's worse now :s

noitsachicken · 10/01/2014 11:29

Thanks mummyinpink he is 18 months, usually sleeps until 6.45 ish, but always wakes at least once, I'm hoping that improves over the next 8 months!
He is currently sleeping on me!

Most people seem to be from London/south east, no one in the south west?

Hoping for good news punky and twinkbat

isitme1 · 10/01/2014 11:35

Thank you onlyseven and mummypink. Originally the plan was for ds2 to have his op by time he was a year old which would have left me at around 8months pg!
When ds1 was having a bad time with his stomach they scoped him to check his inside (he has gastric problems and failure to thrive due to them so hes tiny and is fed by a tube in his stomach) and ds2 was around 7weeks when we had to wait all day in hosp andthen wait qwhile ds was in theatre. Ds1 didn't react to well to the anesthetic either.

Rant over.

Sorry twink hope all is ok x

ThisIsMeNow · 10/01/2014 11:46

Oh god twink, I hope not Sad fx it's not bad news. Thinking of you.

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 11:53

was your pregnancy planned isitme1? i could never have coped having a baby when my 2nd was 1, i dont think that im a 'natural' mother though, ive had to work pretty hard to come to terms with it and ive been a mum for 6 years now! - i didnt exactly have the easiest babies mind which did put me off and had i stayed with my 2 childrens father i wouldnt have had another. but since being with my DH ive come round to the idea a lot and am now nervously excited about it all. Im also so excited to have a baby due in a relatively warm month! my 2 are october and feb and so i always have to have their birthday party's indoors on rainy cold days which isnt nice. if baby comes early we could have a very early september baby Grin

thats pretty good work for 18 monthas noitsachicken Grin as i say my youngest is 3 and she still sometimes wakes me just to put her bloody dodi back in...really need to get rid of that in the next few months. she only has it at night times but shes so dependent on it i just havent had the energy yet to tackle it!

well hopefully youre half way through the main part of the morning sickness stage Hubbythecatandme, should end by 12 weeks ish if your lucky Grin i literally have no symptoms bar if i stretch or move too fast sideways i get a sharp pain in the ligaments around the uterus area which i remember from my first pregnancy and its pretty annoying but at the moment im kinda weirdly enjoying it as its the only sign i have of being pregnant! Blush

PunkyPod · 10/01/2014 11:56

Hi ladies. Saw my lovely GP who talked it all through with me. I declined a scan because I just know what's happening. He said that was fine and would just suggest doing a test in a couple of weeks to check it's negative. Said he would refer me if the next pregnancy ends in miscarriage as that would be my third. I've just got to remember that each one of these babies is a miracle and I'm already so lucky to have 1. We'll go away on honeymoon and hope the sun and relaxation will bring us some luck. My dd was conceived immediately after my first miscarriage so I have hope.

If someone would mind removing me from the stats that would be good.

Wishing you all a lot of luck, safe and healthy pregnancies with beautiful bundles in Autumn xx

Hubbythecatandme · 10/01/2014 12:00

mummyinpink do you mean like it feels like something is stretching below your stomach sort of thing? I feel this but thought it was because I haven't been to the gym for a month and I am getting a fat tummy (again) because I am very likely eating too much (again) although to be honest don't think this is going to happen with sickness. Trying to do my work but I suddenly feel very dizzy and like I am going to be sick on the keyboard :s
Thank goodness I work from home, I have no idea how I would cope if I had to work outside or if I had other children to look after. How on earth do you people manage, I am impressed I have to say:s
Do some women have to take time off work because of sickness in term one???? Feeling like such a wuss :s
Twinkbat I really hope it's not what you think it is. Sending you a big hug xx
