Yep topmammy I know what you mean, definitely painful... I too have read not good idea to push too hard, some women talk about pushing with their fingers like you are describing choccy some even go further but won't say this on here or it may make me feel queasy again

hahaha topmammy!
I took some senokot today (nhs website says it is fine to + made hubby read the leaflet lol) and it really helped. I was so fed up being not only sick but also bunged up argh!!!

Hubbythecatandme · 09/01/2014 21:44

I am not prone to constipation normally, more the opposite so this is definitely unusual here! topmammy I have seriously thought "OMG is this not going to block the drains?!"
Hubby must think I am a dream come true at the moment. I have no interested in sex whatsoever or anything sex related, I was sick and had to run to the bathroom when he was talking to me today, I threaten to bung up the toilets with my huge long submarines and if he accidentally brushes past my breasts at night he gets told off as it really hurts hehe!

bugoven · 09/01/2014 21:53

Of all the pregnancy related issues I think piles are what I fear most but I would take a whole bunch for a healthy baby.

So sorry punky, thinking of you amd hoping all is ok Xx

Hehe poor you Hubby, you sound like raging torrent of hormones at the mo! Are you eating any more than usual? as I'm not, in fact I'm probably eating a bit less, so no idea where all this poo is coming from Blush.

I'm also not interested in sex at all. Feel a bit guilty about it actually but DH and I are both too scared anyway in case it causes any bleeding. It'd just freak us out even if it was nothing to worry about.

I feel very sad for Punky, I hope it's a false alarm :(

DSis has just put a photo of her neat, skinny person cute bump on Facebook. I'm so bloated today that I feel like a hippo already. Now having a massive confidence crisis :(

All confirmed at the docs today with the added extra of a flu jab. Glad I'm not the only person feeling the bloating. Especially after the doctor took one look at my stomach after I told her I was preggo and she said'you certainly are!'. Running out of clothes I can wear 2 work already. Was hoping not to tell till 12weeks but I'm sure someone will guess.

I was suffering with constipation last week but have been having a slice of lemon in hot water first thing before brekkie and felt much better. Hope it keeps working, also been going for a 20 min walk each day as exercise helps.

Sending positive thoughts punky xx

punky I really hope it's a false alarm for you. Can you call NHS 111 and get yourself checked out or something? x

Cramps are quite bad tonight, I'm a bit scared, is this normal I'm nearly 6wks?

Report
Hubbythecatandme · 09/01/2014 22:16

Think cramps are quite normal as your uterus is stretching etc... xx

Report

Dinah I am 6weeks today and had awful cramps all weekend, only really felt better today. It was so scary, spoke to the doctor today and she said it's perfectly normal adjustments in your body. I don't understand why cramps are not on the lists of common pregnancy signs just like sickness and sore books as so many people seem to have them!

Punky sorry to hear your news. Not fun. Anymore updates this morning?

I have been feeling horrendous past 36 hrs with a cold. In the process, all my nausous morning sickness has disappeared. I still feel very tired & boobs are still sore (but don't feel as full as they did at the beginning of the week).

Is this normal? Can morning sickness come and go?

Report
bugoven · 10/01/2014 07:41

punky I know that must be so worrying and you sound like you're being so calm. Take care of yourself and I hope the gp can help put your mind at rest.

So sorry punky still keeping my fingers crossed for you Thanks
kmini my breasts aren't as sore as they were & I only feel nauseous if I let myself get hungry.

Kmini, mine comes and goes. I'll have it for a couple of days at a certain time 5pm-7pm (not so 'morning sickness) and then I'll be okay for a couple of days. It's seemed to be on and off from the start so reckon it's quite normal.

Ahh ur on here too hippyjess! Congrats!Grin I found out on tuesday,
Could be 5 weeks on sunday going by lmp but test said 1-2 weeks which would put me at less than 4 weeks so who knows! Have u booked ur meeting with a midwife yet?

Punky thinking of u and praying its not what u think Hmm

Im enjoying these few weeks with close to no symptoms while they last cos i know how much i have hated my last 2 pregnancies - also put on like 4 stone with eAch so that could have contributed to me not feeling so great so this time im going to ignore the urge to eat whatever the heck i like for the next 8 months just cos im pregnant!
