Oh punky I'm so very sorry.

Enjoy your honeymoon, its such a special time for you and dh. You can drink cocktails & fizz, have lots of lovely food and romantic dtd!

HippyJess · 10/01/2014 12:02

Mummyinpink I found out last week at 10dpo, I'm 5 weeks by LMP but OV'd on xmas day so I'm 4+3 :) I've got everything going except morning sickness! Killer boobs (who knew nipples could hurt so much?!), mild cramps, exhausted, incredibly bloated... We're so excited, can't believe it happened first month! So glad to see you on here too Grin

Still for everything crossed for punky and hope your doctor's wrong twink :( Thanks xx

Hubbythecatandme · 10/01/2014 12:07

hippyjess lol yes boobs are a killer! Friend came me a tight hug the other day and I also screamed lol!

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 12:21

when was your lmp then jess? im confused as mine was 8th dec but that would make me 5 weeks on sun yet it only showed up as 1-2 weeks (which makes it 3-4 weeks pregnant) on the digi on wed Confused

HippyJess · 10/01/2014 12:32

It was December 7th but I have long and irregular cycles (30-36 days) so was using OPKs. So instead of using that I have counted 14 days back from ovulation day to be more accurate Wink but I can only do it because I know the exact day I ovulated! My digi on Tuesday said 1-2 weeks which was correct for that assesment so maybe you ovulated late..? :)

I have a big back of IC tests in my underwear drawer and can't resist the urge to do one every day to check it's real Grin. Today's was by far the darkest yet!

HippyJess · 10/01/2014 12:33

(I quite like knowing with relative certainty that bean was concieved on Christmas day! Best present DP will ever manage to give me I think lol)

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 12:38

aww thats cute jess Grin Thats weird becuase i started spotting on the 7th dec but didnt know wether to count that day or not as the first day so i counted the 8th as my first day. as it was my first cycle and i havent had a natural cycle for over 10 years i have no idea how long my cycles are but i did my first digi on tue which said 1-2wks too! then another one the next day which said the same. we could have pretty similar due dates! have you booked in your scan yet?

HippyJess · 10/01/2014 12:43

That would be very cool Grin haven't been able to book in with the midwives yet as I want it to be where DP lives (and where I officially live now, instead of unofficially!). I've got my GP registration forms all filled out, am waiting for one more proof of address to arrive early next week, then the second the GP here has my forms I'll be calling the community midwives Wink

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 12:56

welcome Poonli and congrats - u r crazy lol. u must have a very good first baby! Grin

I havent even called my midwife yet, no point really for a week or 2 as i have 8 weeks of waiting round for a scan and i know time will start going so slowly as soon as i have a scan date to look forward to so im holding off as much as i can!

Poonli · 10/01/2014 13:14

Just made a GP apt for week after next who will refer me to hospital for scans. Hoping first trimester doesn't drag too much.

I've gone back to work 2 days a week so hopefully got enough to keep me busy! Plus it's year end so always manic at this time of year!

sittingpretty25 · 10/01/2014 13:23

Punky - I'm so so sad to hear your news. But, enjoy your wedding, enjoy your honeymoon and who knows?? Big hugs xx

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 13:30

yes working a few days a week will definately keep you occupied. i remmeber my other pregnancies dragging so bad and going so slowly im trying not to let my whole life revolve around the pregnancy this time in hope it wont go by so slowly.

isitme1 · 10/01/2014 14:11

Nope this wasn't planned. We wanted more kids but once dc were more settled with their health. Ahh well. Im happy that im pg it was a nice shock. When I did test it came

twinkbat · 10/01/2014 14:35

I'm confused. I'm still cramping but I'm not bleeding, I appear to have stopped spotting like I have all week. anyone got any idea whats going on. I called the epau this am when the pain started and they said given my first HCG level (159 :( ) stay home as it may be a miscarriage, but come to my appointment next tuesday if nothing happens. But that was 6 hours ago. Surely I'd have started bleeding by now yeah? Any of you already with DC's have any idea?

isitme1 · 10/01/2014 15:14

Woops lost half a post
when j did the test I smiled then cried then kept saying oh shit and then smiled again

I got married young and wanted to be a mummy straight away

twink hope things perk up for you x

Choccywoccydodah · 10/01/2014 15:41

So sorry punky just devastating for you. I hope you have lots of support in RL.
I've just caught my third month in a row so I'm really hoping you will get your sticky bean soon.

So I've just tested again and my lines are still faint, but getting darker faint if that makes sense!?!?

And my mum (retired mw) just came round as my parents had ds for a couple of hours and she rubbed my belly and said 'everything ok?' With a huge grin. How the frig does she know these things?? She guessed with ds when we were over 200 miles away and according to everyone, not planning any kids!! No secrets in this house. Still didn't tell her Grin. Not planning on telling anyone til a bit later. Didn't tell anyone last month either.

DearDinah · 10/01/2014 15:42

Oh twink what a worry, i've no experience at all of this but can imagine how anxious you feel. So sorry you are going through all this. Thanks

punky so sorry to hear your news. I hope you have a wonderful wedding day and lovely honeymoon, hopefully be back on antenatal very soon xxx

Choccywoccydodah · 10/01/2014 15:42

Twink, can you go in and get checked. Hoping nothing bad is happening in there and baby just getting comfy to grow xx

DearDinah · 10/01/2014 15:45

choccy mums just know! How sweet! :) How many days are you PO? Sorry if you've already said, this thread moves very quickly. Mine got darker and darker and now at 5w 6 days are darker than the control. Have you got a load of ic's?

Choccywoccydodah · 10/01/2014 15:51

Dinah 12dpo today. I don't normally have any line at all until 12dpo, so am glad it's getting darker. Just need it to keep getting darker as the last couple of months it didn't.
If I can make it til next weds with no problems, I'll be extremely happy!

choccy EPAU just said to keep my appointment Tuesday if nothing happens. I'm hating this limbo, I could deal with another MC but this limbo is cruel.

Mummyinpink1289 · 10/01/2014 15:59

Annakin31 im in the same boat, had pnd with my second also which is what is worrying me a lot although my new DH is a lot different and i think he will be very good at calming me down through those first few totally exhausting months. we got together when my youngest was just under 1 and he was a god send at keeping me sane as she was still terrible at night times but he would be there at 12am asking if i wanted a cup of tea and rubbing my back whilst i was sat on the bed at the end of my tether! lol. the things parents go through for these beautiful babies!
