Ooh waffles, my DH is fuming with you!! I've eaten all the cheese and he has none left for his sandwiches for work!!! Hahaha. Baby needed it, well that's my excuse anyway...Wink X

topmammy · 12/01/2014 20:18

Gosh waffles I could just eat choc cake with ice cream right now! You're right the nausea does seem to improve after eating. I've just managed to eat some cottage pie, was quite nice actually, thank you Tesco finest lol.

Choccywoccydodah · 12/01/2014 20:33

Just a little thing, not sure if any if you want to, but I kept a daily diary of my last pregnancy. Ive just been reading back to see how long I felt sicky for before I got my appetite back. I started eating properly again around 5.5 weeks then my appetite reverses and got a whole lot bigger!!
It's really interesting to compare this time Smile. I even wrote down every day what I ate that day so if I was ever ill I could tell the dr or mw exactly what I'd done and eaten (not that I was ill).
Just a thought if any of you want to start.

I'm about to start this one so it will be fun to compare.
I also bought a baby diary, it's a yellow ring binded book (and mainly American) but it told you everything that was going on inside you ever day, will try and find it.
I also found bounty.com a great website for pictures of whats going on and what baby looks like week by week Smile

pregnancy journal

ThisIsMeNow · 12/01/2014 20:47

That's a good idea choccy. I used apps called babybump, sprout and pregnancy. All free from iTunes for iPhone. Lots of pics and info for each day/week.

topmammy · 12/01/2014 20:57

I just had a look on Amazon, Choccy, as I thought the journal thing was a great idea. Showed one I was seconds away from ordering to my DH and he said I've got you one for your birthday (it's next week). Ha! Good job I didn't just impulse buy lol.

rockin20s · 12/01/2014 21:07

Well was just on the phone to my friend and she guessed. I wanted to tell her in person damn it!!

Mummyinpink1289 · 12/01/2014 21:40

Feeling a bit emotional this wknd, saturday night just burst into tears for no reason at all and tonight i feel angry so my dh has steered cleAr of me and gone upstairs lol.

Still no symptoms for me really bar a teeny bit of nausea. And my jeans feel sooo tight its annoying as dh is like 'well u cant say its the baby cos its only the size of a sesame seed right now!' Lol grrrr

HippyJess · 12/01/2014 21:49

Mummyinpink I think being that emotional counts as a symptom Wink

rockin20s · 12/01/2014 22:11

My clothes are tight too was a size 12 before Christmasbut a 14 now. I think most is from cChristmas but surly not all of it

Hubbythecatandme · 12/01/2014 23:53

mummy tell DH progesterone makes digestion sluggish = slow bowel movement = bloated because poo stuck in colon = big tummy!
Water retention, fat stocked to prepare for breastfeeding = bigger tummy too :)
Will catch up with everyone's messages tomorrow xx

broodylicious · 13/01/2014 06:41

Love that journal idea choccy, may have to get one myself.

The apps I use are what to expect, baby centre and food no-no's (tells you what you shouldn't eat while you're preggo, I found it really helpful last time) - all from iTunes and all free.

DearDinah · 13/01/2014 07:08

Here we are again, another Monday morning, hope every week at work won't be this challenging have a good week everyone xx

Fairypants · 13/01/2014 07:41

Is anyone else having problems sleeping? I remember it from last time, can't get comfortable all night and only snoozing. I'm only 4.5 weeks so it can't be bump related and my boobs haven't changed at all yet. I'm like this a but before af but not to the same extent.
I'm just so tired and run down and hate work. I always really enjoyed it but the boss is still punishing me for having a mc which I can't manage to ignoreAngry
On the plus side, I feel a tad queazy this morningGrin

broodylicious · 13/01/2014 08:30

Yes fairy, it's a nightmare! It takes me an absolute age to find a comfortable position and then again to fall to sleep. My normal positions just don't work anymore and so I wriggle and wriggle about for hours. By the time I've dropped off, dd is waking up for the first time of the night! She's a bit off colour at the mo too so I'm worried about her as well as this little bean inside me (hopefully!) Not conducive to a good nights sleep!!

xxmissbrightsidexx · 13/01/2014 09:03

When's everyone's midwife appointments? Mines not til 24th :(

hereshoping2014 · 13/01/2014 09:18

I don't have one yet :-( I've been booked in for an early scan on Wednesday... keep your fingers xd for me there's a heartbeat!:-) Then GP said she was referring me to EPU but nobody has mentioned a MW appt yet :-(

isitme1 · 13/01/2014 09:23

Mine is on the 21 but not community midwife. It's at hospital
Brightside they are pretty similar dates :)

Choccywoccydodah · 13/01/2014 09:28

Morning! Haven't booked mine yet, will book it weds I think. I will ring epu at the same time as I would like a scan ASAP due to previous months. They are very helpful at our local epu, and you can ring direct which is great.

My tests are getting darker and quicker coming up now so I am really really praying this one is 'real' as such.
Currently filling the walls in ds' room. We've not long moved and we've taken the wallpaper off and painted it but it's got a few holes so while he's at nursery I'm cracking on then I get the afternoon with him Smile Trying to keep busy!!

isitme1 · 13/01/2014 09:33

this pregnancy is not helping my anxiety :( if i make a gp appointment will he refer me for a scan at some point? Really want two be seen x

xxmissbrightsidexx · 13/01/2014 09:40

*to be

Choccywoccydodah · 13/01/2014 09:52

How far are you brightside? Have you had any bleeding etc? (sorry if you've already mentioned!)
You normally get your scan 10-14 weeks where we are, and an early scan if you've had any problems.
I had my scan date come through last time after my mw booking appt.

rockin20s · 13/01/2014 10:10

i feel like all symptoms are stopped! i have been doing IC every day and the line is getting darker but i no longer have cramps, boobs aren't sore, no sickness.

i didnt sleep last night and today is my first day back at work, I'm exhausted and only here an hour (but up since 6am to drive to work)

please little bean stick!!!!!

hereshoping2014 · 13/01/2014 10:12
