HiAll,
I'm afraid I'm freaking out a little and wondered if anyone might have any experience that might help calm my nerves. This morning I went for a walk and was all happy and excited. Halfway through walk, noticed my boobs weren't as sore then...tmi warning....noticed when I got back, a tiny bit of discharge with an ever so slightly pink tinge. So far no painful cramps or blood. I do occasionally have some cramp in abdomen and cervix but nothing like period ones. The reason I'm panicking is this is first conception since m/c in November. Can anyone recognise or report similar symptoms, and reassure me it's probably normal and not a sign of impending m/c. Btw..I'm just 6 weeks. Huge thank yous in advance.x

Hubby re bottles we has MAM bottles and best ones we (and friends that had them too) ever used!! Dr brown was also a fave from another friend. Fabulous for colic and also self clean themselves so no need for a separate steamer! They all fold within themselves and pop them in the microwave, brill stuff! So easy when we went on holiday.

Re everything else, we've got everything from ds so won't need much when baby is here, except new cot sheets.

We are planning to find out the sex this time too Grin

Cindy5389 · 11/01/2014 15:16

Hi, I'm new to mumsnet. Positive result this morning. Approx 4-5 weeks pregnant, so due approx 19th Sept.. 24yrs old. Been married since Aug 2012. First month of trying so very pleased. Hoping everything goes ok with pregnancy.. Had lots of symptoms very early on. Craving Mexican food at the minute.. Anyone know when to book first appt with doctor?

Choccywoccydodah · 11/01/2014 15:17

Rockin we're planning a home birth too! Ds was really straightforward, just a small 2 stitch year, and quite quick.

I had him at 4.25am and they kept me in intil the following lunchtime. Was so annoyed as they said I'd be home by breakfast the same day!! It was a staffing issue as the ward was full (we were lucky to get in). I've never even in hospital in my life and hated it so all things good, I'm staying put! Grin

Sorry about my little posts, I keep missing things!!

Hubbythecatandme · 11/01/2014 15:18

whiteblossom and topmammy and I am sure I am accidentally ignoring other messages about it sorry!
Best thing for nausea for me was not letting myself go hungry. Rice crackers and TUC biscuits as soon as you feel a bit queasy + plenty of rest and sip water + have ice lollies to feel more refreshed. I found too little or too much food can make me really nauseous all day. Since 2am today keeping it under control (for once it's working hurray!). I really hope it doesn't come back as bad as a few days ago though. Pregnancy sickness is the devil :s
Current obsession is Tropicana Ruby Breakfast and blood orange juice. Realized we forgot to stop at the shop to get some and now I am really craving it argh!!!!! Think may have to drive hubby to the coop lol. I SOOOO WANT BLOOD ORANGE JUICE :s

BexBoo12 · 11/01/2014 15:21

After my worrying pains last night, I'm reassured today after getting 3+ on a digi - which ties in with my own 5+6 week dating. I'm so happy xxx

Choccywoccydodah · 11/01/2014 15:21

Cindy call them when you can and they'll book you in. We don't get a drs appt here they book you straight into the mw at 8/10 weeks.

Cindy5389 · 11/01/2014 15:27

Thanks Choccywoccydodah :)

TwosaCrowd · 11/01/2014 16:25

Home alone until tomorrow evening as DH has taken DS to visit his mum (who seems physically incapable of travelling to us, despite being only 2 hours away and only 50 years old, and able to drive). So I'm watching some OBEM and trying to decide between VBAC or ELCS!

Choccywoccydodah · 11/01/2014 17:31

And the nausea has started pah!!! Not eaten a lot today so have just scoffed some toasted crumpets to tide me over, actually made me feel a lot better!! Grin

Just worked out am 4 weeks today!

DearDinah · 11/01/2014 17:33

hereshoping I'm 6 Wks today & noticed my breasts don't hurt anymore, have you had anymore spotting? I'd just keep an eye in it, if it comes any thicker can you give out if hours a call? Some spotting is normal so we're told, doesn't stop you from worrying though, have you any other symptoms? Can you get a cheapy hpt just to put your mind at ease a little?

DearDinah · 11/01/2014 17:37

I feel gross today, really niggly & pukey tired and my god am I getting ugly, my face looks like I have the pox. Just want to hide, DH has no sympathy either, he's in a grump for some reason, well I'm in a bigger one!

Hubbythecatandme · 11/01/2014 18:04

Yay Bex!!!
Freaked out last night in bed because of lower back pains (feels like I am about to come on). Happened today again together with leg pains. Mister internet says it should be ligaments stretching!

topmammy · 11/01/2014 18:04

Been snoozing on the sofa all afternoon! I never do that! Pregnancy tiredness and nausea simultaneously, lovely. Going to try and eat my trusty chicken dippers for tea I think. Beige = good.

topmammy · 11/01/2014 18:07

Oo sorry Bex forgot to mention that's great about your digi :) I'm so wrapped up on my own world of nausea right now lol.

Choccywoccydodah · 11/01/2014 18:07

Topmummy I've just made them for ds and almost made me sick!!

Bex sorry I missed your post earlier, brill news!! Grin

Hubbythecatandme · 11/01/2014 18:09

Anybody else having really vivid dreams???
Mine seem to be involving celebrities (Simon Cowell the other day :s, TV programs (I was singing live on the X factor show.... I haven't even watched the X factor for years!), pregnancies (I am giving birth or some people are pregnant or some real life pregnant celebs like Simon Cowell's girlfriend are in it). I watched Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows with hubby and sure enough ended up dreaming of being in it. It is disturbing, I don't normally have such crazy dreams! They seem very "real" too with lots of details and always lights, fire and action going on :s

hereshoping2014 · 11/01/2014 18:10

deardinah thanks for your post. It helps to know others share some similarities!I have major heartburn and boobs hurt again. Not sure if heartburn is from today's stress tho. Ha ha. I can't make my mind up about whether I want the (very mild) cramps to stay (could be stretching) or go (no cramps...no more growth?) Aaaaaagh. Why does this have to be so anxiety provoking!?:-) x

hereshoping2014 · 11/01/2014 18:13

Oh, and yes deardinah I did a cheapy hpt about 2 hrs ago and it said pregnant. Wasn't stronger line than last time...but maybe there's a limit to how strong the ink can appear? The two before that, that I did were digitals and said 2-3, then 3+. Gosh I hope this bean sticks.x

Incacola · 11/01/2014 18:14

We're considering a home birth too. Dd was a very straightforward water birth and we we're at home until 9cm dilated. At that time we lives just round the corner from the maternity unit so we were there within 5 minutes but now we live somewhere rural. I'm desperate for a water birth and so I'm thinking home birth with a rented pool. Has anyone rented a pool before or know anyone who has? Any words of wisdom?

Hubby - we bf mainly but used the tommee tippee closer to nature bottles for a supplementary evening feed from 10 days old (dd dropped quite a bit of weight and took a month to get back to birth weight in the end). They were fantastic! We've never had any problems with her switching between boob and bottle, or any issues with her refusing the bottle. I know a lot of people who have used them successfully.

I'm still feeling remarkably symptom free so planning to retest tomorrow just for reassurance.

topmammy · 11/01/2014 18:17

Hubby my dreams are more vivid and complicated at the moment, like epic films with a storyline lol I had one last night but can't quite remember now what the heck happened!

Choccy, I haven't had chicken dippers since I was a kid but have randomly started liking them now I'm pg. Also quite like baked beans with them with salad cream on the side!! Strange I know.

Hubbythecatandme · 11/01/2014 18:19

topmammy and deardinah yup it's been that sort of day for me too! Went for lunch with hubby, felt like my tummy was a bit funny when I came back then massively craved blood orange juice so hubby made me satsumas juice (he is so patient bless him!!!). Drank that then fell asleep until half an hour ago!!! This going out for lunch seems to be the most tiring thing ever (ahem). I feel a bit guilty about doing so little but sleep seems to be my new best friend.....
deardinah you look after yourself girl, baby and you are priority!!

Hubbythecatandme · 11/01/2014 18:21

lol topmammy!! I seem to be hating coffee (a bit rich for a French person) and wanting orange juice or tea and lemon instead... go figure!
I agree about dreams with a storyline, I find it slightly disturbing, it must take my brain a lot of effort to come up with all these scenarii :s
