My verrrrrry faint line earlier gives me an edd of 27 august so I'm going to straddle the two threads providing I get a strong bfp tomorrow (which I should do!!)

Happy Christmas everyone!!!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
nataaaaliee · 02/01/2014 09:16

Yeah :) I'm going to try clearblue check and date today the one with the plus and them the conception indicated :o just saved my fmu :) so fingers crossed that makes a difference :o I might sound silly but what on earth is an Ic? :o

Dinah I've been the same running all night with either that or if it's not that my heartburn keeps me up, all good signs :) xx

PunkyPod · 02/01/2014 09:19

DD is almost 19 months and such a monkey! She's one of those children of extremes, when she's good she's a shining ray of amazingness. When she's bad she's really hard work!!

I get married on 18th Jan and this is just the most special present!

Bex i remember you too, congrats on your wedding :)

whiteblossom · 02/01/2014 09:31

Morning everyone,

Im glad its not just me poas to check im not dreaming! Though I used the same make of test from the same box and the lines were slighty lighter...The control line was also lighter so Im hoping its just the test and not me!! I should have left well alone!!

Im feeling better today but my back is a worry even though my urine test came back clear of any infection- does that mean I cant have a kidney infection?? Ive booked appointment with gp for tonight but I feel like Im annoying them but Im worried. Sad should I go?

I cant wait to be 12 weeks Grin

I wish my dh would bloody cheer up, he's not really jumping for joy, hes says he's in pain (he put his back out just hours after telling him). humph!

duvetheaven so sorry you got your period, good luck ttc again, stay positive xxx

welcome to punky xx

noitsachicken · 02/01/2014 09:35

metalhead my symptoms aren't too bad either yet, but I just remember the exhaustion from last time! I plan on trying to nap when DS naps and handing over to DH as soon as he walks in the door!

And lots of softplay so I can watch from the sides!

noitsachicken · 02/01/2014 09:39

whiteblossom I think back aches and twinges are all normal, lots going on moving and stretching, you body takes a while to adjust.

I have a fractured spine but found my back pain was better in my last pregnancy for the majority of the time. Its because everything gets more strechy to allow room for the baby.

topmammy · 02/01/2014 09:46

Nat, yep a line is a line! Good idea to try a clear blue too.

Noitsachicken, I'd prefer a Sept baby too!

I think I'm 6w+1 today girls and feel like the nausea might be starting... blerrgh!

Justpenny · 02/01/2014 09:52

I've still had no nausea...is it wrong that i'm actually hoping for it so I can 'feel' a bit more pregnant??

I persuaded my sister to tell my mum and dad for me last night cos I've been a nervous wreck about it...which she did...and neither of them have rang or even texted me, so am feelin a bit down in the dumps today :( I hoped they'd be as excited as me!

Metalhead · 02/01/2014 09:54

Nat IC means internet cheapie, I.e. not a branded test.

Ha, your DD sounds similar to mine Punky! Mine is already 3.6 but can still throw the most horrendous tantrums...

Noitsa napping sounds like a good idea - unfortunately DD gave that up looong ago. How old is your DS?

I've also got quite bad back pain and lots of mild cramping, but I think that's pretty normal. Feeling a bit nauseous too, though that might be due to Xmas overindulgence, and my boobs are massive already!

Got a GP appointment booked for Wednesday, though if I remember correctly they don't do anything at first other than say congratulations.

Metalhead · 02/01/2014 09:55

Sorry about your parents Justpenny, that sucks. Any chance they might have just been too busy to ring this morning?

Justpenny · 02/01/2014 10:09

possibly, but my sister told them last night and I thought they would have at least sent a text :( they didn't know I was ttc so I know it will have been a shock but I still expected some kind of contact! oh well...im happy so that's all that matters!

topmammy · 02/01/2014 10:23

Parents can be a bit strange sometimes! Are we going to turn into them too? Lol

Justpenny · 02/01/2014 10:32

I bloody hope not! haha!
I've just stuffed my face with sausage on toast, and am already eyeing up a big box of quality street that are left over from Christmas. Is it wrong that i'm hopin to be hit with nausea real soon so as I can lose a few xmas lbs?! :)

topmammy · 02/01/2014 10:43

I suppose that is one benefit of nausea justpenny! Except that we don't want to starve baby of essential nutrients. Eek! Since becoming pregnant I have totally gone off chocolate, it doesn't even taste the same. Weird!

Hubbythecatandme · 02/01/2014 10:52

Topmammy: think you will need to keep an eye on your bro on the girlfriend front, two of our friends with Asperger's have or have had abusive relationships.... My friend D got together with one woman who was purely after his money. Then another one who was incredibly jealous (D didn't really know what is acceptable or not in a relationship). She would lock him into the spare room, do all sorts of horrible things to him and one day broke one of his teeth by punching him in the face (no kidding). Friend #2 is with a woman who is an absolute nightmare and has gradually cut him off from most of his old friends....
Friend #3 is gay and I am not sure if he has ever had a snog or sex hehe!
Don't hesitate to have an open chat with your bro one day when it's just the two of you and he is relaxed etc. He probably doesn't know how you get a girlfriend, what you are supposed to do, when you are supposed to kiss then, what you do on a date etc and very likely your support will help.
All the teens with ASD I have taught can do extremely well in life but they need some extra preparations. I am sure friend #3 's mum has taught him how to greet people and that when someone buys you someone you should give them a hug because if you give him a little gift you get this giant big bear hug!!! Bless him! Two of my friends with Aspergers have friends who have figured out there is something different about them and keep a very close eye on who enters their life. I know my friend D's neighbour is very protective of him and really keeps an eye on people who try to befriend him. She did this to me until she realized I was not going to take advantage of him or anything. I am definitely hugely protective of my friends. I bet you are of your bro too xx

Hubbythecatandme · 02/01/2014 10:59

Nataaalie, your lines are about as dark as mine and they used to be a lot thinner and more faint when I found out!! I say this is a BIG BIG HEALTHY BFP!!!

Hubbythecatandme · 02/01/2014 11:04

Welcome Punky!

whiteblossom · 02/01/2014 11:16

noitsachicken thanks for the reassurance, I figured that Im actually feeling very well today, its just the back ache and seeing as quite a few peeps on here are having it that makes me feel a bit more normal Smile

justpenny what did your sister say they said? were they shocked/positive...? Bite the bullet and ring them, it will be alright Smile It would be nice if they were happy for you but this is your choice and your over the moon so don't let them get you down xxxx

Ive had a major bust of energy today, the kitchen has been cleaned from top to bottom, washing done, shop delivered and put away (I made the delivery chap carry it all through to my kitchen, bless him he was really nice about it Grin

I should probably put my feet up! just having a nice hot Ribena mmmm

whiteblossom · 02/01/2014 11:19

nataaaalie I cant get that link to work??

nataaaaliee · 02/01/2014 11:31

woops sorry :) x

noitsachicken · 02/01/2014 12:01

metalhead DS is 18 months and sleeps for about 2 hours in the day. He is asleep now so going to put my feet up and watch some telly!

I just got home from my local breastfeeding support group where I am a peer supporter, so if anyone has breastfeeding questions I might be able to help Smile

Hubbythecatandme · 02/01/2014 12:09

Noitsachicken: is it normal at our stage that I find breastfeeding a bitn isgusting??? Does that change once baby is here??

Hubbythecatandme · 02/01/2014 12:14

Justpenny, my parents are very quiet too, didn't reply to my text and on the phone my mum was like "that's great" (said totally flat) and "well it's early.days anyway"). My parent are usually so.lovely and my mum chuffed to bit when my cousins got pregnant so no idea why they re being like that to us!!!!! Well, parents.can be funny sometimes, God.knows!!!
I was gutted yesterday and day before, today I don't care xx

Hubbythecatandme · 02/01/2014 12:16

Justpenny, woman on other thread was 18 months and had no symptom whatsoever! I was nauseous yesterday and would rather not be again, it was a right pain... however I know what you mean about feeling pregnant.
