All this talk of early scans think I'm going to book in for one. I did last time at 10 weeks as was going on a long haul flight at 11 weeks and just wanted to know everything okay!

I won't be 12 weeks till 2nd week of Jan, I'm so impatient don't think I can wait that long!

Now just to convince dh that we can afford to spend the money that close to Christmas!

First team drinks tomorrow for my new contract. I am going to have to desperately weigh up the best excuses for not drinking I can think of in the next 24 hours, and as I'm likely to have a few of these occasions in the next few months, one that's fairly long lasting. I guess as none of them have met me before, I could just say I don't drink but it feels weird to say such a blatant lie. Plus I'm bound to get dragged into a conversation about drinking at some point...

Me too !! All this talk of early scans makes me feel like I need one too . I feel so paranoid that something is going to happen ,in a way I wish I was more naïve to it as I spend most of my time constantly worrying and thinking something is going to go wrong. My dp doesn't see the need for one though .
On another note I'm feeling overwhelmingly tired just finished nights and back to two 13 hour shifts tomorrow I could cry at the thought of it . Feel constantly nauseous and starving all the time trying to eat healthily but still eating way more than pre pregnancy. Don't know how I'm going to get through the next two days.
Sorry for the moaning I'm off to get something to eat.

I'm really not feeling hungry at all at the moment and I seem to have gone off pastry which is unheard of!

Hiya had my scan looks like I'm more 5 1/2 weeks than 6.

Big news - there were 2 sacs visible!! The first is the right size and seems to be doing well, the 2nd is smaller and wasn't as bright. At this point it can not be confirmed if twin 2 is just smaller & developing slower or it has stopped developing in the last few days to a week.
I didn't see any heartbeats but wasn't expecting to.

Iv always always wanted twins. Iv been excited all day. However tonight iv started to get a bit down about twin 2. I'm really scared that it's not going to progress and I'm going to miscarry, and then if I MC 1 what happens to the other 1, surely it must effect the pregnancy in some way.
Really don't want to lose another baby this year. I know one healthy baby would still be amazing but if iv made 2 then I want 2.

Iv been told to get another scan in 10-14 days, then they can confirm whats going on.
Hoping & praying it's not too late for twin 2 & the next scan I have I see 2 healthy little heartbeats.

Please can I come and join you all? I've not wanted to tempt fate by joining up so soon, but I'm feeling proper crap today, so I guess this must be it!

I'm overseas, so not sure how the appointments and scans work over here, but I'm having blood tests on Friday, then a dating scan next week hopefully. For now though, I think I'm due 18th-ish.

I have a DS aged 3, so this'll be DC2.

Welcome jeezaloo! I'm abroad too so I struggle a lot with the system here and ask the most stupid questions as nobody explains stuff to me, they probably think, ah third child, she's done it before. For example I had bloods taken and when I got home I was wondering, what exactly for? (In the UK there was a long list in the mat notes what the blood will be tested for)

Exciting news Hayley. Well, got my private scan this morning and I'm getting really nervous about all the things that could go wrong! I haven't had any bleeding or cramp or pains that would suggest something's up but still really worries. Suddenly glad that we've limited who we've told so far.

Good luck doctor. How far along do you think you are? Do you know what you're "expecting" to see?

I should see something fairly reptilian and the size of a blueberry! Apparently. According to internet sites I'm 7 +2. So, I'm just hoping for proof I'm really pregnant!

Doctor our due dates are the same when I saw my little bean on Monday at exactly 7 weeks, the sonagrapher said at this stage they look just like beans you can't really make out the head but it was amazing all the same.

Doctor - my mw signed the form. I then had to fill out the remainder of the details and hand into my gp to sign. They have posted it off - so I'm hoping to get my exemption card in the next few weeks.
