felix I love the image of you pushing your old teddy around!
We don't have a pram yet - going for the Mothercare Xpedior, in Plum, as it's light, easily folded and cheap. I was so flustered by pram choices and finding out about the fault on the one we thought we wanted (Cosatto Giggle) that we reverted to buying the cheapest one we liked, in case it's shit and then we've wasted the least money.
tarka I have a hospital Primark brown paper bag. No idea when I'll actually pack, but at the moment, I am feeling blase. The one thing I can't find, which I know isn't essential, but which I'd like, is a thin cotton/jersey dressing gown in something like black or navy. I might pop into Lewisham on the weekend and look in places like Ethel Austin - it's that sort of thing I want - cheap and disposable! Otherwise, I'm happy that the things I don't yet have I could live without (water spray, handheld battery operated fan) if I had to.
We still have no mattress for cot, and no change mat for change table. Nursery is still a DIY dumping ground, and I haven't washed a single baby cloth (singular of clothes, see
). I am so behind, but I'm feeling really chilled, so I'm pretty okay with that - I think the mad nesting is a hormone warning for D-Day countdown being imminent, and since I'm apparently happy to wallow in filth continue as we are for now, then I'll live with the consequences
Thanks for all the reassurance as to the weird pain, I'm convinced I've pulled a muscle in the bump by turning over, as there's no way this baby is kicking and somersaulting this much, but consistently keeping its arse shoved outwards above my belly button!
Oh, and PELVIC FLOORS
