Morning all! Like the others at the tail end of the queue, I'm also still struggling through MS here, hence the relative silence. Hopefully we'll all be out the other side sooner rather than later!
Mine is definitely easing, at least. At the worst I felt awful 24/7, but it's now reduced to just waves of nausea that strike for an hour or two every so often. (Mostly around now, urp.) Still needing ridiculous amounts of sleep, however. 12 hours per night or I cease to function! I really hope that eases before I'm back at work next Wednesday.
Glad to hear scans and stuff are going well. :) I get to see my wiggler again on Monday, which I'm quite excited about! Going by myself this time though, because DH can't really take any more time off work and has already seen it twice. I think he's getting bored, LOL.
randdom, it's probably some small comfort but take heart in the fact that you do still feel tired and sick. Those symptoms are a clear sign that everything is probably fine. First thing in the morning, or when your bladder is full, can you feel a hard lump now just peeking from behind your pelvic bone? That is another good sign that everything is growing and progressing as it should. When is your 12 week scan due to be happening?
Glad to hear you managed to talk with your OH, Moomin. :) It sounds like he's just not really been sure how to support you and, for men, I think they feel a bit detached from it all anyway at times and not really sure what to say or do. In my experience, it's best to be direct and just tell them what you want/expect them to do. Takes the guessing out of it and helps them relax!
And ooh, O-Negative blood type! Have you ever considered becoming a blood donor?
They'd bite your hand off. Obviously you can't while pregnant or for a while after giving birth, but O-Neg is the most desired blood type as it's what's called the "Universal Donator". Everyone can receive your blood type with no negative impacts because of the way your antibodies are stored.
On the other hand, I'm the opposite end of the scale as AB-Positive, making me a "Universal Receiver". That means I can receive anyone's blood type and be fine, but no-one else (aside from other AB-Pos) can receive my blood. I donate still, but I think mine is mostly used for research as it's bloody (ha) useless to be stored in emergency rooms!
