I almost leaped out of bed this morning I felt so much better. Unfortunately my hips and back didn't let me so it was more of a slow roll over whimpering. Ah it's good to be free of the headaches.

I had a dream last night that me and feather had to find a special chocolate bar. I was in tescos and she came up to me and proclaimed "hi, I am featherbag and you must help me. I am on a quest to find the special chocolate" we searched everywhere in tescos but never found it.

Slept pretty well last night despite 4 loo trips. Have a lot on today so that's a very good thing!

oh no. I'm sorry storm try a hot shower, the steam used to help me a little bit. Also avoid caffeine, it made mine so much worse.

After my hospital trip with reduced movement the other night I have got my extra scan today. Im happy we are going to see bump again but hoping everything's ok. So fingers crossed I'll be giving you all a nice update later.

I've just been informed that I get to spend my birthday on my own. It's on sunday and somehow everyone has become busy with other things. DP is working from 7-9pm and my family are in cornwall for the weekend. How depressing is that?

I always find if I drink too much water I throw up storm but I could just be weird

Hi everyone! I can't believe how quickly this place moves! Must try and catch up!

I've decided my little monkey doesn't like Thursdays, last thursday I was in hospital for RM as soon as I got hooked up little one started wiggling. This morning little one is quiet again. I'm still working so trying to be as quiet as possible to pay attention to the wiggles!

Also waddled to the shop today and got a pain right at the front of my foof does anyone else get that?? Its the first time i've felt it I wonder if it's pelvic pain? - sorry I've posted twice here and I'm already talking about foof's! lol!

Hi Molly foof- good word! I was going to mention the same. Sounds like it's SPD pain. I Have had it with previous pregnancies but only at the end and not enough to incapacitate me. I've had the same pain the last day or so.

I can't keep up with this thread so sorry for missing people out! chelsea glad all is ok and baby is staying out for now!

Regarding my last post- hope the info (tho a bit biased!) was useful re cord clamping. Whoever asked if it should be on the birth plan- definitely! And how you want your 3rd stage to go as well (delivery of placenta) you can have it 'managed' or 'natural'. With ds1 I had it natural then it didn't budge and had to have it managed with an injection, lots of tugging by midwife- was a bit traumatic and was terrified of it becoming retained but luckily it came free eventually. 2nd time round I was worried about that happening again so had a managed 3rd stage and it all happened easily and quickly. This time I'd like to try for natural again as sounds like its much better to let my body do it as nature intended but I may change my mind!

Worried now about the whole cord clamping thing- maybe I'll mention premature cord clamping (when cord round babies neck) when I go in but am worried I'll sound like some hyperchondriac/worrier!

I keep getting a stabby fanny too. Usually on the school run. Or in bed at night just as I am drifting off to sleep.

I have a scan too later. Only a growth scan as DD was a titch. Picking up DD from school at 12 and we are going for lunch then she is having a look at her baby brother. She is finally getting excited about things.

Will be interesting to see what position he is in and if I am right. I think he is head down and currently hiding behind my placenta which is anterior. He was lying on the right hand side until the other day. Must admit it felt very bizarre when he moved over. Like my insides were swishing about!

Chesea I meant to type that baby is staying 'put' for now, not out! Grr. Typing with iPhone is so frustatjng- spend half my time correcting stuff!

haha so glad I can talk about this on here. I am definitely walking slower! Was REALLY uncomfortable last night and quite breathless, definitely going downhill fast here!

froubylou would love to know where my little one is - was breech last week and I really don't think there has been any change in position! Need to get little one to wiggle in the next two weeks!!

Thank god DD has finally stopped puking! Back to being her very cheeky self, as long as there are no setbacks I will be able to put her in nursery tomorrow and start on the massive list of jobs I had been putting off until my maternity leave started.

I haven't got around to istening to my natal hypnotherapy cds once yet, better get a move on, 35 + 1 today!

Going to have to take her with me to midwife appointment this afternoon, hope she behaves herself

molly I've been having pain in my foof too when walking and it happens when I attempt to try and cross my legs too, as someone else says I think it's SPD setting in.

Little boys not really moved so far today, had one or two movements but that's about it. I've got my MW appointment at 2pm today anyway so if he's not woken up and given me a good kicking as he normally does by then I'll have a word and see if I need to go to the labour ward.

Ahhhhhhh after last nights antics i now have a huge issue is there anyone who has gone through housing or knows anything about it? Because i ring them and they are hopeless!!! :( i will have no were to stay once my daughter is born!

34 weeks today! One more week and I won't mind if DS decides he wants out. Rang the hospital this morning to check the time of scan/consultant appointment on Monday and I'm so pleased I did! I'd been told 4.30, and DH has arranged to leave work early based on this. I don't know what made me call to confirm, but apparently the consultant appointment is at 4.30, the scan is at 3.45! No one has mentioned anything about 3.45! So DH is now frantically trying to get away earlier still, as he's missed the last 2 scans and this is more than likely going to be the last one. And I really NEED him at the appointment as this is when the ELCS will be scheduled, I'm not a small amount terrified!

Just waiting for DS to finish his nap and eating biscuits then we're off to the park for a picnic with nana.

I feel poorly again today. A bit like I am hungry, but when I eat I feel sick. If I sit forward I get pains in my bump too. i'm not worried though, just a bit fed up of feeling like crap. I would have lked to have gone and done something productive today but looks like another day sat knitting.

Glad baby is staying put for the time being chelsea. Don't let them bully you into induction because they think baby is measuring big in a scan. They're notoriously unreliable. Do, on the other hand, ask them to check you for diabetes because that can lead to high birthweights and IIRC you said you were 19? So you're quite unlikely to have been offered screening unless you have other risk factors. No idea about housing but hopefully someone will be able to help. There are other more specific sections of MN with some very knowledgeable posters if you post a question there.

Oh no chelsea! try posting on one of the high traffic areas like chat, I've seen loads of people get good advice on things like housing but know nothing about it myself, sorry.

Have been trying to crack on, have ordered 2 big boxes of nappies from Amazon and a pram liner for my silver cross. Getting excited now!

This thread moves soooo fast.

I keep getting sharp pains at the front and to the side of my bump. I am hoping it is ligament pain. The baby seems to be moving ok but with keep and eye on it. My consultant told me to report any pain but if I reported every twinge and twist I would have moved into the hospital by now!

I am off to but curtains and then visit a freind and her 6 month old boy. It might be one of the last times I fit behind the steering wheel so we are possibly marking a very special occasion (lol). I am bringing another freind whose birthday it is. She is lucky. Who wouldn't want to choose someone else's curtains on their birthday. She is such a lucky lady. I bet she tries to get me to get funky ones when I just want plain old dark blue ones! I am more interested in the runners tbh.

it wouldn't be so bad nom but i've almost run out of wool and I don't have anything I want to knit at the moment once I have finished my step mums birthday present which will take about an hour.

Peanut has had hiccups for about an hour. How long are they meant to hiccup for? anything I can do to help the little thing?
