Edamame I think I would go with the nuchal scan, ie most recent scan if I were you. That puts you a wee bit earlier on (ie later due date), right?

I think the only reason it really matters is right at the end if you are overdue and facing induction. If they are a week out at that point then you could end up being induced before you should be. I started this particular train of thought somewhat accidentally - justifying my Febber-ness. Sorry if I've caused anyone concern Blush

commsgirl · 19/09/2013 16:28

We found a house, eek!

lumpylumps · 19/09/2013 16:41

I have pco but not the s!!!!!! The only symptom I have is irregular/no periods.
We're having mince, mashed sweet potato and mashed sweede. Not very exciting!!!!!

BakingEating · 19/09/2013 16:41

Hooray comms!

I'm the same as Frankel with the PCOS. One of the worst things about spending 3 years trying (apart from 3 years of trying) was the really rubbish skin that came with not being on the pill. Very confidence sapping.

BakingEating · 19/09/2013 16:43

Beef stew with dum

BakingEating · 19/09/2013 16:45

...plings for dinner, with me eating the veg, sauce and dumplings and himself finishing off the beef for me. Smile

HotCrossPun · 19/09/2013 16:45

Gaw It's normal to have more discharge when your pregnant. Its just your body's way of keeping itself clean and free of infection.

Joll How is your back today?

rescoonetwothree · 19/09/2013 16:48

comms thats amazing news, we have too! must be house finding day!

glad to hear of the positive placenta stories, i think i just scared myself haha!

yay frank glad you had a good appointment!

maybe i'm not really sure, just figured it cant hurt really! i saw the placenta smoothie, which is not an option for me, blah.

mummybee hope you're ok, i imagine its hard to believe after trying for so long, try and embrace it, it's real!

gaw they checked my ovaries every scan and it seemed to be routine to sort of check so they might have just not had anything for concern!

rescoonetwothree · 19/09/2013 16:50

I miss food so much it makes me cry!! I spend all my spare time cooking and baking normally. I'm always thinking up recipes and reading my books, but I just can't stomach it now Sad

Gawj yes to the extra, ahem, 'dampness' Wink

Well done on the house hunt Comms and Grey!

SoSurprised · 19/09/2013 17:11

Thanks edamame I haven't been sick for a few weeks now! this was out of nowhere.

Great news on the house grey and Comms

Prambo · 19/09/2013 17:15

Lovely news, Frankel.

Gawj, my vadge has become very wet with lots of odourless milky discharge. This is the cells around the cervix nourishing it, apparently.

My scan was fantastic. Baby moved in every direction allowing us to see full face, full back, profile; the lot. Sonographer asked if I wanted to know the sex but I said no. It was hilarious: she asked me what I wanted and when I said 'boy' baby's hands shot up to its head and covered its ears! I honestly couldn't believe it. It was as if it was horrified to hear what I'd said!

Crikey, I am so in love with this baby

Prambo · 19/09/2013 17:15

Edam, your posts crack me up.

Rockchick1984 · 19/09/2013 17:22

Grey mine's 24th at 6pm, then got 20 weeks scan on 15th Oct.

I'm having soup and hedgehog bread for tea, see if I can shake off this cold!

Maybe I've finally managed to start baking again, couldn't do any for a while and I really missed it although that may be why I didn't gain weight in first trimester :)

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/09/2013 17:23

Oh Prambo this has made my day Thanks

Rockchick1984 · 19/09/2013 17:23

Pram that's ace Grin

NoMaybeAboutIt · 19/09/2013 17:24

Rok you've given me hope Smile

SoSurprised · 19/09/2013 17:34

Great news frankel and pram :D

commsgirl · 19/09/2013 17:37

Grey Yay! Obviously a good day for houses.

Baking and Rock both sound yummy, I wish I could be bothered to shop/cook.

Pram your scan tales always make me so happy :)

Edamame · 19/09/2013 17:43

I tend to agree Ice. Might be other reasons to have / not have induction by then, no point in worrying now. I just wasn't sure what to tell people when they ask.

What is hedgehog bread Rock??

I want plain boiled potatoes with salt and mayo on the side.

Likewise, Pram .

SoSurprised · 19/09/2013 17:48

I am so tempted to do a private scan. My anomaly scan is on 16 oct. That's so far away. Am balking at the price though.

Prambo · 19/09/2013 17:49

Comms, so pleased about your house. How's puppy today?

Slippers, I laughed my head off at your comment last night encouraging thread cage-fights Grin

I had a MacDonalds today and ate it on the back seat of the bus like some chavvy tramp. It were fuckin' ace.
