pram thanks for the tip about H&M jeans.

As for a maternity coat, well the one I have will have to do. Even if it won't do up in winter there's no way I can afford a new one.

I had a blocked nose last night and I'm worried that I'm going to get spd again as its getting uncomfortable to turn in bed. I really don't want it again!

BNmum · 16/09/2013 14:21

You're in for a nice suprise faithful, carrying a baby is like you're walking round with a radiator strapped to your front.

Prambo · 16/09/2013 14:21

Mummy, I couldn't have a afforded a new coat; mother came up trumps.

MummyPig24 · 16/09/2013 14:24

That's nice of her pram. My dad bought me a coat last time I was pregnant and my nan got me a new one for Christmas 2 years ago. I still love the one I got for Christmas, it's bright blue! So I will just layer up and wear it open if I have to.

x0gawjus0x · 16/09/2013 14:26

Just crazy to think in 4 weeks ill be half way through! Wonder how many girls v boys us marchers will have x

Happyhoppy · 16/09/2013 14:32

Hello, thank you all for your good wishes. The scan went well, although baby didn't cooperate on positioning! We had to go for a walk and chocolate and back for a second go. Baby also stuck its tongue out - amazing! Due on 30 March as predicted - that's Mothering Sunday! Am feeling very relieved to have made it this far, and hope I can calm down and enjoy it properly from now on.

HotCrossPun · 16/09/2013 14:38

What an amazing first Mothers day you and your baby will have if he/she arrives on their due date!

Glad to hear your scan went well Happyhoppy Smile

LyraSilvertongue · 16/09/2013 14:43

I have a similar coat, Pram, but it's not maternity so may not do up in a couple of months' time.

I'm bloody knackered from all the housework I've been doing. Why do I always leave everything to the last second?

LyraSilvertongue · 16/09/2013 14:43

Congrats, Happy Smile

Prambo · 16/09/2013 14:50

Housework sucks cock.

Congrats, Happy.

HotCrossPun · 16/09/2013 14:53

True dat Pramela

I can't move. I have so much work and housework to do and I've literally no motivation to get up off the couch.

Anybody near by fancy coming and doing my dishes? Grin

lumpylumps · 16/09/2013 15:01

You can use sinex (oxytetracyline) well, you could do 3 years ago according to the nhs pregnancy book I had back then!!

FoxMulder · 16/09/2013 15:17

I put a load of washing on AND emptied a bin at the weekend. Domestic goddess, me.

Interesting on the sinex lumpy I will check that out. Actually now I think about it, I'm sure you can use Sterimar Nasal Spray because it's just salt water or something...

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 15:19

Brilliant news Happy!

MTBMummy · 16/09/2013 15:22

Great New Happy - I'm expecting to still be waiting for flea to arrive in early April if DD is anything to go by, she was due the 21st and didn't arrive until the 5th (and had to be dragged out kicking and screaming)

I'm a fan of under bump clothes. Anything over bump just feels too tight and uncomfortable!! Even if it's not.

I'm after a coat too. Hoping that some kind relli will treat me!

lumpylumps · 16/09/2013 15:53

Oops, wrong name, it's oxymetazoline not oxytetracyline!!!

MummyPig24 · 16/09/2013 15:55

Great news about your scan happy!

I'm probably crazy actually hoping for a late baby. Dd was 6 days late, and because this one is due on her birthday I'm hoping to go at least a day over. I was truly fed up by 38 weeks though so I know I will feel the same but I don't want to miss dds birthday.

lumpylumps · 16/09/2013 15:55

Ok and looks like you can't use it!! Ignore me and my waffle!!!

Beccadugs · 16/09/2013 16:06

Hi all,

Haven't posted for ages, but following along (just about!).

We've had a very sick dog, now fully recovered, with diahorrea everywhere. Poor DH had to deal with everything, as the smell made me sick!

Pram, very jealous of all your freebies! And impressed with your demon facing abilities. Also, my DH says I look like a serial killer due to no makeup on my passport pic, pity it's also in my driving licence and work ID!

Mummy, a friend of ours had their second DC on their firsts birthday. She managed to do birthday breakfast and presents then popped to hospital. She's abut sickeningly perfect like that though!

16 weeks tomorrow and still feeling really sick. Can't get by without the drugs (tried at the weekend) and starting to worry about the effect on the baby.

Still no bump here, just can't fit into my clothes!!

BakingEating · 16/09/2013 16:24

Hello, first day back at work today after 2 weeks off and I felt like a right old frump. My tits look like torpedoes and are huge, so none of my dresses or shirts fit. Consequently I'm wearing baggy tops with baggy skirts.

Pram my dh says that wicker always reminds him of the wicker man, so a wicker pram would be off the menu even if it wasn't a bit Mary Poppins.

On heartburn, I've had it since 10 weeks and the gaviscon liquid works best, along with early dinners, milk and no potatoes or potato based food. Hmm

BadlyWrittenPoem · 16/09/2013 17:00

Hello, can I join please? I'm currently 14 weeks into my sixth pregnancy expecting what will hopefully be our third child.

LyraSilvertongue · 16/09/2013 17:03

Becca and Pram, DP had a lovely pic taken for his passport renewal but they rejected that one and the one after. The only one they accepted was the one that looks like a mugshot Grin

LyraSilvertongue · 16/09/2013 17:04

Welcome Badlywrittenpoem Smile I'm having my third too.
