Beccadugs, I don't know which medication you are on but I know loads of people who have had loads of anti-emetics right up to birth and I personally have taken loads of different ones. Also, you might find the Pregnancy Sickness Support Trust useful - it has loads of infromation about things like treatment and there is also a forum: www.pregnancysicknesssupport.org.uk/

Beccadugs · 16/09/2013 17:49

Hi and welcome badlywritten!

Thanks for the advice! I have already contacted them, and they have been great, just worried really!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 16/09/2013 17:54

Welcome Badly!

Becca I'm feeling your pain. I'm trying s hard not to take my meds. Which I can just about too providing I rest all the time. There's no way I could go back to work like this, I salute you for working x sooty about the pup, it's horrible when they're ill.

I'm loving that coat Pram

Prambo · 16/09/2013 17:55

Of course you can join our group
Do you prefer pasties or soup?
Everyone here is dead nice
Except I can be a bit of a twat.

Welcome, BadlyWrittenPoem.

BadlyWrittenPoem · 16/09/2013 18:34

Thanks for the welcome.

I think I probably prefer soup to pasties.

Prambo · 16/09/2013 18:49

Weirdo.

FrankelInFoal · 16/09/2013 18:54

Favourite pasty flavour Pram? I'm torn between cheese and onion or corned beef

MummyPig24 · 16/09/2013 19:00

Welcome badly!

I'm staaaaarving. I've been hungry all day, and we have no food and no money. Till tomorrow when good old tax credits give me some dosh and I can go food shopping.

Beccadugs · 16/09/2013 19:05

Where can I get a corned beef pasty?! I must know.

IceNoSlice · 16/09/2013 19:33

OFFS you are all making me crave naughty food again. I even want a banana milkshake donut and I can't stand banana flavouring.

(The answer is 1) Sausage, cheese and bean with 2) Chicken bake/chicken and mushroom as a second.)

Welcome Badly and nice poem there Pram. Very badly written. Nice.

lumpylumps · 16/09/2013 19:34

pram that made me lol!!!!

I'm having a baby. It's inside me. I feel it. I've seen it. I've heard it. So why don't I believe it?? I'm such a pessimist and am still convinced it's not going to happen.

Lamb and mint pasty!

FrankelInFoal · 16/09/2013 19:41

Sorry, forgive my manners - welcome to the mad house Badly.

Becca you get them in good old Asda

Beccadugs · 16/09/2013 19:44

Thanks Frank!

frantically googles nearest 24hr Asda

FrankelInFoal · 16/09/2013 19:48

Err, apparently Iceland also sell frozen corned beef pasties - made by Greggs! Grin

apprenticemamma · 16/09/2013 19:49

Marking my place. Am now devoting the next half hour to catching up...will be back with some inane responses later!

Prambo · 16/09/2013 20:01

Frankel, I haven't ventured outside of the sphere of Greggs pasties and so I can only tell you that my two favourites are sausage & bean and steak bake. Even the threat of my entire family being slaughtered by a Mexican drug cartel could not force me to choose between the two.

Lumpy, lamb & mint pasty sounds like the vilest of hairy cock suckage.

Th'usband is cooking liver. Again. Why must I suffer for his predilection for offal that looks like bloodied faeces? Sad

Prambo · 16/09/2013 20:03

...speaking of blood-infused stools there was a facebook status on my newsfeed yesterday from some woman bragging that she had just eaten a whole black pudding to herself. Fucking filf.

IceNoSlice · 16/09/2013 20:14

I like a slice of black pud with my fry up but at eating a whole one

PainAuxRaisins · 16/09/2013 20:34

The combination of the words 'offal', 'stools' and 'black pudding' in the last few posts is making me gag. Still not quite out of the MS yet it appears. Nice to see there is another newcomer to the thread who's mad enough to consider a 3rd child - welcome badly!

PainAuxRaisins · 16/09/2013 20:37

Just watching some amazing baby-related gadgets on channel 4 at the mo (that gadget show with Richard Ayoade (sp?). I need the bike that converts into pushchair!!!

apprenticemamma · 16/09/2013 20:39

black pudding = totes wrong. My Greek MIL made us a mahoosive tray of moussaka, my fave dish atm . Just been watching Jamie Oliver and (in spite of his obnoxious, detached from reality views ...home cooking every night..I think not etc) that salmon filo pie was bloody gorgeous. re baby denial yes me too I think me and dh are totes in denial we are very far of thinking thru practicalities. I need to sort mat b form and apparently even register puffins nursery place asap. Argh. Think I'm just going to slink under my duvet and face it all tomorrow. .

apprenticemamma · 16/09/2013 20:44

prambo me too. Esp loving the rocking cot the daddle and the why cry gizmo. But Wtf! am so deeply deeply disturbed by the robot babysitter..creep s me out and makes me kinda sad. My own recommended gizmo is Ewan the Dream Sheep... think it's on Amazon. Ds swore by it to get him to sleep x

Prambo · 16/09/2013 20:47

Apprentice, you've got me and PainfulTits mixed up. She's the nice lady and I'm the mouthy whore.

faithfulandtruthful · 16/09/2013 20:51

BNmumI look forward to experiencing this heat of which you speak I have always felt the cold and more so since being preggers!
