It's so true Roofio we decorated about 6 weeks ago and once I was on the floor painting skirting boards for a while I had to stay down there until DP came to help me up Grin

textbook · 15/09/2013 21:42

Yep at QA Nat - the consultant-led unit was moved up there a few years ago, and all the rooms are fairly new and it has better facilities than the old hospital on the island. We also have a Costa Brew Grin

Natalieand · 15/09/2013 21:50

I can't keep up with u lot today even tho I have been at home! Emptied dd wardrobe of everything that no longer fits, safe to say its virtually empty now and she definately needs new clothes, more money.

A costa... I'm Jel I will just have to send dh to macdonalds that's as luxury as its gunna get for me I think lol

Dh and I dtd the other day and I can't say I enjoyed it what so ever and will be in no rush to do it again --except when desperate to pop the baby out)

Hope nelly, falcon, pseudo, tarlia and terrified are all ok?

Can't remember if I said before so good luck tommorow kelly

Arms still extremely sore but I haven't had reduced movements as a result of the jab so that's re assuring. If anything he's been more active and seriously abusing my insides this evening

Flyer747 · 15/09/2013 22:04

I honestly cannot cope with the major discomfort anymore. I lie down I'm uncomfy I sit up I'm uncomfy, I walk around and I'm stiff as a board. And I've got another 4 weeks, I hate being pregnant now, totally and utterly fed up. DP is being nice (finally) I'd even go so far as to saying he is being lovely Shock and has said he will not drink from next week.

Hands up who else is fed up now?!

PseudoBadger · 15/09/2013 22:04

Just watched Iron Man 3. RDJr always reawakens my libido.

I'm fed up Flyer. Do you have a bouncy ball?

Flyer747 · 15/09/2013 22:06

Yes I've been sitting on it but it keeps deflating with my weight Grin and I can't find the pump!

ananikifo · 15/09/2013 22:06

I'm fed up! I really wish I hadn't pushed back my work leaving date and I'm sick of being achy and uncomfortable all the time.

Natalieand · 15/09/2013 22:07

Ill be 36 weeks tommorow flyer and I'm rediculously fed up too flyer. Xxx Thanks] for u xx

TheFalconsmistress · 15/09/2013 22:08

Good luck for tomorrow kelly

Away to bed might dtd to move things on not sure if i have enough energy though :s

Shirehobbit · 15/09/2013 22:16

At the moment I would class myself as being more bored of being pregnant, rather than totally fed up flyer - but I can see how that would change in the near future!

Natalieand · 15/09/2013 22:28

I kind of feel I'm in a weird position, not ranging to rush the baby out as I'm enjoying mine and dd's last few weeks together but at the same time I'm sick of being pregnsnt and feeling like an 80 year old cripple just getting a drink lol

MotherOfNations · 15/09/2013 22:29

Completely fed up here too. 2wks and 4 days until c-section day. Despite being scared of going Into labour because of the risk of rupture I'm increasingly praying for an early end.

Tarlia · 15/09/2013 22:29

Good luck, kelly!

I'm doing full circle, was am totally fed up of being pregnant, but now I know I've only a few days left of this special feeling I'm a bit emo about it.

I've two friends, one of which could still easily run for the bus, the other was running several km up until the day she gave birth. I just couldn't imagine, but wish that was me!

I'm hanging in here, thanks Nat. How's that cold of yours?

claphammama · 15/09/2013 22:31

F.E.D. U.P...

Natalieand · 15/09/2013 22:39

On its way out now thanks tarlia I reckon another day or so and wil be completely gone thank The Lord! Will u be induced or be having a planned c section on Saturday ?? Or do they decide based on an assessment of your cervix ? (How delightfull does that sound)

Can u believe its almost October? Its officially half way through September today! And quite a few of us lot r 37+ now its so exciting! Will anyone be buying cute Halloween baby outfits if their baby arrives before Halloween?

Also I wondered there is always a procession and firework display and bonfire etc locally that we usually take dd too the last Saturday of October and I will have def had the baby by then as I'm being induced no later than 41 weeks, do u think its a bit much taking a newborn out for that kind of thing? X

pinkbuttons · 15/09/2013 22:41

also fed up here although todays conversations have given me a little smile to myself so thankyou for that ladies Grin

Sorry to hear of everyones discomfort.

and Good Luck for tomorrow kelly hope all goes well and your able to have lovely cuddles tomorrow evening xx

HeffalumpTheFlump · 15/09/2013 22:43

Fed up over here, but same as nat not quite ready for it to end. I am getting more and more ready by the day though. Fainting in the shower and having to have dh wash my hair for me helped push me in the right direction! Plus just the sheer effort of everything, I will never take turning over in bed for granted again!!

HeffalumpTheFlump · 15/09/2013 22:45

nat I want to dress my baby as a pumpkin. Grin

Tarlia · 15/09/2013 22:48

Clapham Cake or Wine fed up?

Glad you are almost over it, Nat. It'll be an oral induction, which I've only just heard about. We don't really do anything for Halloween, though will carve a pumpkin for the tactile stimulus, DS has a small issue with getting 'dirty' in that sort of way so these things are good for him. Mmmmm, pumpkin bread - yum! Hope I'm up for baking!

Nellysgirl · 15/09/2013 22:52

Does anyone notice that they suddenly get aches and discomfort from about 10pm?

Natalieand · 15/09/2013 22:53

I suspect ill buy the baby a Halloween related baby gro or cruel outfit to take a pic of him in and as its the eve of dd's birthday we always take her trick of treating with my nieces and nephew just for half an hour down our road so its ppl we are familiar with plus then I'm not in to answer the door to trick or treaters lol

What does an oral induction involve tarlia can't say I'm familiar with the term either xxx maybe that's why men think semen swallowed is more effective lol

claphammama · 15/09/2013 22:56

oooo... Wine sounds lovely tarlia Grin

feeling slightly less fed up now that I've realized that there is NO WORK tomorrow and I've now permanently removed the alarm on my phone Grin Grin
honestly though, I've been to the loo do many times today that I'm seriously considering sleeping in the bath tub tonight.

and I know what you mean about these days being really precious and I also don't want to wish this time away... we will miss this magic feeling of a little person moving inside us soon.

by the way, DP just looked at me as I massaged my anti stretch marks cream in my tummy and said "I don't want this big greasy whale in my bed". Do I kill him...??

favellio · 15/09/2013 23:01

I'm fed up too. My SPD has really flared up today. I feel like I've been kicked by a horse in my fanjo and lower back. Can barely walk, even with crutches. Midwife told me the baby's head is engaged but could still be weeks.

I wrote my birth plan tonight. If you google NHS birth plan, there's a really good template you can either print and handwrite or download, type and print xx

Tarlia · 15/09/2013 23:01

Urg, I did think that when I typed it nat but I couldn't bare make the reference boak. It's pills you swallow along with a sweep. No idea why I have the pesseries for DS1. I wouldn't say no to a cute pumpkin fleecy suit, but hard to find those things here as they have a different witchy day earlier in the year.

Hope you're ok pink. Some times the weekends can be tougher than the weekdays with expectations I think.
