good luck Kelly!

That's right Nat I'm just outside Portsmouth. You're between Chichester & Brighton aren't you? Are you having your baby at St Richards? I've heard so many good things about the maternity care there.

HeffalumpTheFlump · 15/09/2013 19:19

Good luck Kelly!! Will be thinking of you and baby tomorrow. :) Flowers

ananikifo · 15/09/2013 19:20

Good luck Kelly! We'll be eagerly awaiting your news!

I hope everyone else is well, as much as possible.

Semen works because of the prostaglandins, so it works in the same way as the pessary that's used to induce labour. I don't see why it would work better orally. If anything I would think the opposite.

We've been unpacking and organising today. The nursery is not close to being done but at least we're moving in that direction. Now I'm sitting with a hot water bottle on my lower back, eagerly awaiting DH's dinner creation and my weekly glass of wine! Smile

MotherOfNations · 15/09/2013 19:32

Good luck for tomorrow Kelly.

Yuck roofio. A cup of cold spunk [boak]

JellyCurls · 15/09/2013 19:45

Good luck tomorrow Kelly hope you and baby are both fine

I kind of glad I missed today's topic of conversation, been throwing up today and that would have tipped me over the edge I think. So glad DH isn't on mumsnet to read this info, he always trying to convince me it helps weight loss but tell him I'd rather be a wee bit curvy than try his weight loss techniques.

Got an even lower bump tonight after baby had another wee wriggle down and lots of pressure in my back passage. Feels like I need to poo but I don't as have had a touch of a runny bum for past few days (sorry for TMI). On plus side my heartburn has all but gone as baby is so low Smile

Can't think who to name check here, thought of sperm filled drinking cups has kind of distracted me

PseudoBadger · 15/09/2013 19:45

I think that might actually be the main ingredient in mint gaviscon MoN :o

Yes text I will be having baby at st Richards. Are u going to queen Alexandra?

BowlFullofJelly · 15/09/2013 20:01

Must be why I hate gaviscon Smile

Feel a bit wrong tonight after going on about how well I feel. X factor and bed I think

clapham I meant to ask, is your dp still going to hk?

diege · 15/09/2013 20:02

That's ^exactly* why I can only stomach the tablet gaviscon... I agree that it should work better up the fanjo surely than through the mouth? Confused

claphammama · 15/09/2013 20:15

bowlfull no, he is not after all Grin he was supposed to be flying today actually Grin feels much safer to have him here!

Smitten1981 · 15/09/2013 20:19

Am I the only person who quite likes Gaviscon? I don't mind it at all. I hate the 'other' though, obviously.

OrangeBlossom2 · 15/09/2013 20:23

That's good Clapham!

OrangeBlossom2 · 15/09/2013 20:24

Sorry you are feeling rubbish jelly but hopefully a sign things are moving in the right direction.

BowlFullofJelly · 15/09/2013 20:31

Ahh that's good news clapham, I'm sure it would have been a big worry.

Really bored.....maybe ill pack hospital bag Blush

Flyer747 · 15/09/2013 20:37

Gaviscon is awful...I had to spit it out in the toilet before it made me sick.

I asked my DR to prescribe me rennies and she did no problems.

Racheld33 · 15/09/2013 20:48

Love gaviscon tablets, but liquid makes me gag everytime Envy

Good luck kelly

roofio87 · 15/09/2013 20:51

peppermint gaviscon, not a problem. but I hate the aniseed one!!

PseudoBadger · 15/09/2013 20:53

I can only handle the aniseed one, i have to not focus on the texture though :o the tablets are better.

OP posts:
Shirehobbit · 15/09/2013 20:59

Aniseed for me too.

Good luck, Kelly Flowers

New thread tomorrow, ladies?

ananikifo · 15/09/2013 21:00

Well I used to be fine with gaviscon but now I'm not so sure.

PseudoBadger · 15/09/2013 21:02

Sorry..... :o

roofio87 · 15/09/2013 21:10

Watching 'what remains' on bbc and never realised before how fake fake pregnant people look. no real pregnant lady due in a couple of weeks could get down to paint skirting boards and back up that easily!!!

Tarlia · 15/09/2013 21:14

Envy < not envious

FeministInTraining · 15/09/2013 21:37

Grin @ the lowered tone on the thread! I had my first experience of Gaviscon last night, DP didn't understand why I was bouncing on the bed trying to swallow it!! Glad it's not just me being a wuss!

Good luck Kelly and lots of sympathy to Falcon and Nelly and those of you on bed rest/crutches/feeling shite Flowers

Glad you had a nice send off Clapham it's always nice to feel appreciated. Better late than never...

Hope your arm feels better soon Nat I kept forgetting about mine and then going to lay on it in bed- not a good move!

Sorry I have forgotten everything else- I'm amazed at those of you that remember everything- or are you all taking notes? Hmm

Pushchair coming tomorrow- eeeekk!!
