Yes orange it was indeed me with the vision problems. My vision has gone terrible recently, I'm hoping like my feet which have gone the size of big foot they both go back to pre pregnancy state.

Worth asking mw though, but mine is pregnancy related not PE.

MrsO everything is blurred I can't even see the tv properly anymore.

Umlauf · 15/09/2013 08:38

Snap jelly sc @37+6. Sex didn't work, bah!

xuntitledx · 15/09/2013 08:43

nat - I posted that pic on Facebook... My arm was really red and swollen for about a week but no other symptoms. Feel better soon!

Soupqueen · 15/09/2013 09:20

Hmm, rethinking that lemon drizzle cake I was planning to make for the freezer Grin

Still no leaky boobs here at 35+6.

Natalieand · 15/09/2013 09:24

Thanks at least I'm not the only one i knew it may give me a dead arm but I didn't realise it would be this bad especially when I asked the nurse if it would hurt later on and she out right said no it will be painless Hmm

untitled I looked through the Facebook pics and its looking simular to mine so that's re assuring x

How r u all feeling terrified, tarlia, falcon pseudo xx

Shirehobbit · 15/09/2013 09:53

Morning.

Today, I shall mainly be sofa-loafing. My bump really aches, got a warm-not-hot water bottle on it at the moment, which feels lovely.

Hope everyone is ok x

Flyer747 · 15/09/2013 10:05

Ditto shire (sofa loafing) I wore heels last night, and although they were low ones the calf muscles feel like I've just ran 10 miles.

It's horrid weather and cold, we still haven't fathomed out how to work the central heating, all the rooms have individual thermostat settings, the main control pad has more buttons and settings than the star ship enterprise it's the most confusing contraption ever.

roofio87 · 15/09/2013 10:06

morning all. this thread is going super fast, wonder if we'll be on a new one by tomorrow haha!!
slept well here, was up every two hours for a wee like always but slept well in between for a change!! Think my nesting instinct is kicking in subliminally as I had a dream last night that I had to clean the entire house from downton abbey!! Glad that isn't really on my to do list for today!

PseudoBadger · 15/09/2013 10:27

My parents come back from their 3 weeks away tomorrow so we are cleaning madly today :( DS keeps untidying just after we've tidied arrrrrgh!!

TheFalconsmistress · 15/09/2013 10:29

SC at 38 weeks today :(

No contractions most of the day yesterday. Had severe diarrhea last night had to get up around 3 and run to the loo. Worried about willows movements they are almost not existent. I know it sound dramatic but i'm petrified she is going to die before she gets the chance to be born hopefully MW will reassure me later. Sorry i have been such a misery guts of late.
Hope things are moving on for you nellys I totally understand the fear when your not at home. (((hugs)))

Also big hugs to the PE sufferers too xxx

PseudoBadger · 15/09/2013 10:42

Oh falcon I hope the MW can reassure you, thinking of you x

OP posts:
Natalieand · 15/09/2013 10:51

falcon can't u contact maternity assessment and be seen ASAP?

Flyer747 · 15/09/2013 10:53

Falcon Thanks Im sure it can't be pleasant for you, and easy for me to sit here and comment but try and stay positive about little Willow, it's a worrying time pregnancy and you hear all sorts of horror stories, but most pregnancies result in a healthy baby at the end and this is what's going to happen in your case I'm sure. Hugs to you xx

Warlin · 15/09/2013 10:55

serious it does sound like pressure and increased blood flow. Could also be that the baby has engaged. I'm sore down there too. Tried dtd this morning in my attempt to get things moving and am now even sorer (sorry tmi Blush ). I am also incredibly sore down my back, bum, backs of my legs. Think I overdid the walking yesterday and feel like I've limbed Everest today! Got mil coming to see ds, followed by my parents...just feel like having an anti social day in the house tbh

clapham def steal the meal idea..it is our staple when we need something simple.

Is anyone else's baby really active? I find the movements uncomfortable and sore and am paranoid he's going to turn. Mw seemed surprised by how active he is...

TheFalconsmistress · 15/09/2013 10:56

They have not been that helpful nat and usually get my bp going through the roof!

Everything either gets blamed on me being "fat" or "crazy" Hmm Community MW will be here soon though so hopefully she will give a good check over and then if i have to go in I will. I really have given up on the hospital care I have been getting they just look at numbers not how you feel at all whether that be physically or mentally.

TheFalconsmistress · 15/09/2013 10:57

Thanks flyer I know your right trying to stay positive xxx

diege · 15/09/2013 11:05

I feel for you falcon Sad. You have hit the nail on the head with your comment about the hosp just looking at figures and not the whole person. How is your comm mw?
Mon brilliant C-section tips. I am gearing myself up for one, but have only ever had an emc before (and 4 vaginial deliveries). I'm a bit worried about mobility after with 5 dcs at home, but sure recovery will be better than last time.
heffa what your date for C-section? I think we're due date buddies but I may have made that up...
Have woken up with a stinking cold and sore throat here but am putting some thought towards packing hosp bags. Dh is meant to be putting the cot up today but not hopeful...

Warlin · 15/09/2013 11:16

falcon sorry x posted...I think it's normal for movement to be reduced at this stage...there is just no room. Hopefully the mw can put you at ease x

PseudoBadger · 15/09/2013 11:17

But for reduced movements they should do a ctg, which puts it there in black and white. They shouldn't be calling you any horrible names!

OP posts:
Natalieand · 15/09/2013 11:27

falcon I can completely sympathise with u on the 'fat' front my community midwife never even mentions my weight she just treats me 'normal' but when I go info hospital for anything their attitude seems to change slightly although when I done my birth plan last week we did discuss the possibility of the baby having a clip on his head if monitoring is required in labour and they find it difficult too do it abdominally but I was monitored in my last labour and a clip wasn't required so I'm not too worried about that. I really hope the community midwife can give u some re assurance or maybe even a sweep to get things going for u. Sorry you've had to suffer all week x

xuntitledx · 15/09/2013 12:21

warlin - with you on the active baby front! He has a knack of kicking me in a very sensitive spot on my tummy :(

HeffalumpTheFlump · 15/09/2013 12:33

Hello ladies! SC at 36 weeks today.

Diege - c section scheduled for the 9th october.. Only 3 weeks and 3 days to go.. Not that I'm counting or anything!

falcon - so sorry to hear you are having such a rough time and your healthcare professionals aren't being helpful. I wouldn't ignore reduced movements though, and neither should they. Hope you have more luck with them and things get going for you.

Had a bit of a scare last night. Sorry if tmi. Went to the loo and my knickers were a bit wet, very watery not like normal discharge. Went back 10mins later and they were wetter. Decided to change knicks and pop a pad in and lie down for half an hour to see what happened. Nothing more happened so I'm assuming it was just a watery discharge rather than actual waters going. Kept the pad on overnight and there's been nothing more.

Really thought it was all going to happen then and was actually really calm about it. I thought I would be a panicking wreck!!

HeffalumpTheFlump · 15/09/2013 12:33

Oh and it definitely wasn't pee, I did the sniff test lol!

diege · 15/09/2013 12:47

heffalump I have had watery discharge for the past 4 weeks or so - just like water, soaks through knickers, and is not wee (I did the sniff test too!) Apparently this is very common according to my mw and nothing to worry about. Had is last night actually, a herald to a fresh case of thrush this morning!

roofio87 · 15/09/2013 12:48

heffa I've definitley been getting more watery discharge towards the end of this pg. like you, just every now and then but definitley not enough to be waters!
