Hello all. I'm sooo tired today (and feeling sick again). Little one not engaged yet so reckon I've got a while. Getting my hair cut too this afternoon though so that should perk me up.

I'm another tired one today - up half the night with very painful BH

Feeling tired as well can't seem to get anything done, had planned to go out shopping ended up on the couch and ordered online.....feel much better though on the emotional side.

Grrr 38 weeks and bubs still not engaged been doing all the right things to encourage him to engage and obv none of it has worked. Feel frustrated and a bit annoyed that my body and son aren't working as they should.
Also feel a bit in limbo now as I'm obviously in for a bit of a wait!

Mother if this is a subsequent pregnancy you apparently don't have to be engaged until labour starts (according to my midwife) ? Xx

I'm afraid it's my first so it looks like I'm in the pit lane waiting for this little man to get his head into gear!

Just checked my notes and although the midwife said he's not engaged the notes say 4/5th palpable. That means he's 1/5 engaged right?

That's progress at least, is it odd that makes me feel better?

Mine is keeping me up all bloody night ATM, it's driving me crazy. I want to sleep!

Had my beautiful lil lady at 0250am yesterday she was an emergency c section at 37+2 due to pre eclampsia and weighed 4lbs 6oz so she's a little doll. Having some help in scbu but is so beautiful

Had a beautiful girl on Tuesday afternoon

Wasn't sure if I was going to go for a vbac or a section but she took the decision out of my hands.

I had an epidural as she was back to back and I found the pain too much but after that everything went fairly straightforward.

So happy, she is just gorgeous

Congrats Harverina! My baby girl arrived yesterday, after a pretty quick labour - about 9 hours from first contraction to end. Arrived at hospital at 9.5cm and just made it into the pool for a water birth before DD arrived. Currently waiting to be discharged - we were kept in for observation as DD was a bit shocked by her arrival.

Such a good experience by comparison to the birth of my DS, although very intense! Good luck to everyone else on the thread, looking forward to hearing more baby news soon.
