21 days till due date day for me Shockabr believe how fast this pregnancy has gone!!

Heartburn was horrendous for me but I hve been prescribed Zantac and it has been wonderful - I still feel the burn but not nearly as bad!

Hope everyone is well Grin

Just to let you all know that baby heart came home on Friday, 68 days later! He weighs 4lb 14oz now and is fully breast fed ( something I'm proud of under the circumstances). Would write more but have my arms full of small and snuggly 10 week old. Thanks to all of you for your messages of support and I pray all of you have safe deliveries once the stock gets going in s couple of weeks!!

Fairydogmother · 14/10/2013 08:04

Heart that's brilliant! And very well done to you for managing to keep bf going.

honey86 · 14/10/2013 08:25

mycatlikestwiglets · 14/10/2013 08:29

That's wonderful news heart, congratulations! So glad to hear the thread's early arrival is doing so well - and yes, we'll done you on the bf, it's a great achievement to have kept going in the circumstances.
It won't be long before there are some other thread babies to tell you about I'm sure - it's amazing there haven't been any other early arrivals yet!

wonderful news heart! HUGE congrats Grin Thanks

Question for you ladies, I'm 37 weeks on Thursday and this little man isnt engaged yet, I've been using my birthing ball, doing preggo yoga, walking etc and he is head down and very low but not engaged. Anyone else in the same situation? I know some babies dont engage until labour and that they can engage and unengage up until labour but I'd still like him to engage soon! Confused Any tips?

mycatlikestwiglets · 14/10/2013 15:15

I wouldn't worry MotherofCleo - I don't think baby being engaged is a true sign of anything really. My DS was engaged from about 32 weeks but still turned up 10 days late! If yours is head down and low that's a good start.

NotYouAgain · 17/10/2013 14:29

hello! I can't believe I've only just found this thread, I'm 34+3 with dc2 and due 26 November. Can I be a late late comer please?

Excited2meetmyprincess · 17/10/2013 14:35

Hey I've only just found this thread and have my c section booked for the 12th of November so can I join please!! Also how do I get a place on the Facebook group?? Could do with all the support available as I am now stressing out because everything had suddenly become real since booking section date (only done yesterday).
This is my first baby and although I work with babies and children all day every day I am suddenly forgetting everything and thinking I am not going to be able to look after my daughter!!
So is it just me that feels like this or is it normal to totally stress out?!? Lol x

I have just sent the request so you should receive it soon x

harverina · 19/10/2013 21:24

Excited...I think with your first you quite often feel like you have been thrown in at the deep end...I couldn't believe that they just left me walk our of that hospital ha! A lot of oate rind comes from instinct and your experiences of being patented. So you will do things without a thought - and other things you will need to ask people for help and advice...there is no way we can know it all before giving birth, so don't worry!! Grin

*our parenting skills

So many typos sorry Hmm

Wibblypiglikesbananas · 19/10/2013 22:34

Congrats Heart - that's great news. Must be lovely to be back home and relaxed after the past few weeks.

I am now 38+1 and having a c-section on Friday at 39 weeks as this little guy is breech. My due date was 1st November so we'll actually end up a tad early. It's a bit of a shame as DD was just 7 hours start to finish 2 years ago, vaginal birth, but this little guy has been the wrong way up since 28 weeks and nothing has moved him - not moxibustion, not acupuncture, nothing.

Will keep you posted. Been having stomach cramps/Braxton Hicks on and off all day so hope he doesn't decide to put in an even earlier appearance!

Good luck to everyone - not long now for any of us Cake Flowers

Fairydogmother · 20/10/2013 09:42

Hello all how is everyone doing? 37+5 today and still having lots of back pain and on/off contractions Sad

Induction booked for 30 October if he doesn't make an appearance before then

MotherOfCleo · 20/10/2013 10:10

Hi fairy 37+4 here and ready to meet this little man! I felt shocking yesterday, very weak, lightheaded and dizzy, hopfully will have a better day today!

MotherOfCleo · 20/10/2013 10:12

ooops actually 37+3....dd is 7th Nov so could have ages left... Wink

Fairydogmother · 20/10/2013 12:10

Hi mother hope you have a better day today! I ended up as an in-patient on Tuesday night as he wasn't moving much that I could feel and the fluid levels were a bit borderline. Still cooking away tho but being monitored every few days. I'm so ready for this to be done!

How have you been getting on? Is Cleo ready for a sibling?!
