I could just cry :(
Everything from my waist/lower back down aches, my knees, ankles and toes are so sore it feels like I'm getting flu. And I feel so weak. Don't know if it's pregnancy related or I'm getting ill :(

Natalieand · 26/05/2013 21:06

Exciting news over here dh nan and grandad brought us a BBQ and dh cooked it yippee happy pregnant lady even tho I only ate one burger which its not like me lol

flyer I'm 19+6 today edd 14/10 anterior high placenta n still no movements and according to my scan measurements baby is measuring a cpl of days ahead its so annoying isn't it !!!!!

Flyer747 · 26/05/2013 21:30

Totally annoying Natalie.....mine is same high anterior! I am anxious to feel something now. Fingers crossed we start to this week :-)

Smitten1981 · 26/05/2013 21:44

Pseudo - go to bed and hope you feel better tomorrow.

Someone at the party brought us a massive bag of baby clothes. There must have been around 50 babygros in there. Amazing. We definitely do not need to buy any clothes for the first few months now!

Natalieand · 26/05/2013 21:55

flyer the sonography said any first movements will most likely be felt very low down towards the groin area there's been a few occasions when I've thought I've felt some tiny movements I certainly couldn't swear to them being movements tho this is dc 2 for me. Isit your first flyer

PseudoBadger · 26/05/2013 21:57

Thank you for replying smitten, yes I'm off to bed now (but have to sleep train DS if he wakes....)

Haylebop12 · 26/05/2013 22:00

Me too slowjogs

Flyer747 · 26/05/2013 22:17

Yeah Natalie first one, haven't got a clue what these movements are supposed to feel like, and I'm not a very patient person either, the waiting is doing me head in, haha!

HotSoupDumpling · 26/05/2013 22:34

Hope you're resting and in bed Pseudo!

High anterior here as well. Very few baby movements have been detected. Never mind.

BreeWannabe · 27/05/2013 00:19

falcon I'm in Stirlingshire so not too far away :) I love Fife! I go to the coastal towns quite often... Nothing nicer than a sunny day in the East Neuk :)

GTbaby · 27/05/2013 01:17

Pseudo. Hope you feel better when you wake. Are your feet legs swollen at all.? Try rest tomorrow if you can.

terrifiednewbie · 27/05/2013 01:35

gosh i have missed so much! glad to read about all the happy scan news. we're also having a boy-actually had a fab sonographer at Tommies which made a huge diff. Currently (finally!) getting to relax in Mexico- I cant remember who was asking about travel insurance but my insurance company were absolutely fine about me travelling at 20w. enjoy the rest of the long weekend all

FeministInTraining · 27/05/2013 09:43

Morning! Hope you feel better this morning and managed to get a decent nights sleep pseudo

Glad you're feeling better and have had a positive scan flowerpot

Scan day tomorrow at 4pm, beginning to feel nervous already but am taking my mind off of it by visiting a friend I don't see often and her gorgeous toddler. Just work up from a dream where the baby was rolling around inside me and I saw a hand pushing out under my skin- fingers and all! Woke up and realised I was on my back and baby was probably rolling around (but not poking fingers out!) DP finds it v strange when I get him to feel the 'hard bit' which pushes out every now and then... Going to get stranger me thinks!

Hope you're all enjoying the long weekend Smile

MotherOfNations · 27/05/2013 12:56

How are you feeling today pseudo? This pregnancy lark isn't much fun sometimes eh?

I bought some peppadew peppers stuffed with feta and soft cheese in lidl yesterday as I love them but I'm not completely sure they are safe. Do you think the cheese is likely to be something similar to Philadelphia so ok to eat?

Soupqueen · 27/05/2013 15:08

Hope you're feeling better today pseudo, and that DS let you sleep.

MoN, I'm super cautious with food and would eat those, I'm sure they're fine (and yum!)

We ventured to John Lewis today to do our first scouting trip to celebrate the halfway point (20 weeks today!). Only thing we bought was a maternity pillow (I think I'm getting SPD Sad) but we played around with various prams. The sales assistant was lovely and so helpful. Currently thinking the Bugaboo Bee- anyone got bad/good experiences of it?

PseudoBadger · 27/05/2013 15:34

Thank you everyone, I'm feeling a lot better today so far. Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine!

Soupqueen · 27/05/2013 15:39

No sunshine here (Edinburgh), wind and rain.

Glad you're feeling better!

HotSoupDumpling · 27/05/2013 15:42

My friend LOVES her bugaboo bee for the city. It is light, folds up easily and isn't pavement-blocking-ly huge. I'm thinking of getting one too, but haven't yet managed a John Lewis excursion to play around with all the gadgets!

Natalieand · 27/05/2013 16:09

Gorgeously hot down south today, got a nice tan on my arms, followed by a glimpse at myself in my mums full length mirror omg I look like a big fat state I seriously need new clothes and new bras. I hate being skint :-(

Hope everyone else has had a nice extended weekend.

20 weeks for me today too woooohoooo half way point

Soupqueen · 27/05/2013 16:43

That's good to know, hotsoup, the assistant did describe it as being great for the city. The adjustable handles are a huge plus point too - I'm 5'1 and DH is 6'

thatsnotmypineapple · 27/05/2013 17:33

I covet every bugaboo bee I see. I am trying to persuade DH that it would be better than our icandy that we used for dd. I do love the icandy, but as we don't have a car, I am always on buses or tube. Also I love the fact that it folds in one, and it is one of the only pushchairs you see both babies and toddlers in.

MrsO27 · 27/05/2013 17:52

Just for fun, for those of us keeping the sex of baby a surprise - the Chinese gender predictor.... (Yes, really!)
www.babycenter.com/chinese-gender-predictor
My dc will be a girl according to this.

MrsO27 · 27/05/2013 17:54

Don't think that link worked www.babycenter.com/chinese-gender-predictor

roofio87 · 27/05/2013 17:58

according to that I'm having a girl too......I'm having a boy!! Hehe Smile

PseudoBadger · 27/05/2013 18:08

I'm very envious of all this spending/prospective spending... DP has flat refused to buy anything new for this baby! So our DD will be wearing all DS's clothes and I'll be pushing round a muddy pram that I ran into the ground with winter dog walking
