hi everyone, right catch up:

tinasan my congrats on your little girl, i found out with dd as felt i needed to do serious shopping (will also be finding out with this one!)

saralou congrats to your little man, its a birll feeling when they'r growing up, then a couple of minutes later you realise they'r growing up and cry! lol

debbsy our house is brill thanks, would like a garden but i cant have everything and we'r happy. Im thinking about having a waterbirth but do want to be at the hospital so for me it will be the luck of the draw!

harrogatemum iv got my scan 4th of July too, il be just over 21 weeks!!

Meandmyboy brilliant news on your scan!

mower great news on your new little man, glad everything is ok!

NJ this pg is going way too quickly its scary, somedays i almost forget about it all, but think its due ot rushing around after dd!!

ladyanne as you cant get SMP look into maternity allowence, i had that with dd and although some people think the £100 odd pound a week isnt a lot it does help!

FogHornLegHorn im desperately trying to get a maternity wedding dress off of ebay as our budget is tight (whole wedding for under a grand) we'r getting married 26th of Aug which i keep htinking is ages away and it really isnt!!

Mygirl good luck on your scan!

right done, now a little about how we'r going here!

well today iv been really ill but most days itso nly 1st thing in the morning, which i can deal with (am now 19weeks!). baby is movign like a trooper and takes great delight in kicking my bladder (sending a wonderful electric shock like feeling through it! great) otr putting itself in aq horrible position that puts me in great displeasure, it lays its back across my belly and stretches its arms and legs towards my back, pushing out as hard as it can, bloody uncomfortable i must say, little swine! and i know from experience its only gunna get worse, damn!

NatalieJane · 21/06/2006 12:25

Morning everyone

Good luck to Mygirl, can't wait to hear all about it!

I had my second midwife appointment today, everything is fine, a different woman to last time, seemed friendly enough She said the heartbeat is fast so that is one vote for a boy and one vote for a girl so far, one of them has to be right!!

It is my birthday tomorrow, so DH is on a secret mission today to 'prepare' he says, don't know if I should be excited or worried TBH! So if you don't hear from me again, he has probably blown me up or something just as crazy

Anyway had better get on with some housework. Will check back for Mygirl's results later if I get chance

DebbsyandBibby · 21/06/2006 12:27

thanks for stats mand mb how are you feeling hun?

DebbsyandBibby · 21/06/2006 12:42

Come on mygirl what flavour have you got??
Was everything ok thinking of you

MeAndMyBoy · 21/06/2006 12:47

Hi Stacey great to hear from you. Hope that you can find a way to get the tinker to move - try tickling it's feet lol. Oops just got kicked at that suggestion!!

Right I have been trying to get things a little bit organised and sort out when I am going to leave on mat leave and when DS is going to leave nursery.

Have just realised that I probably am going to have to give notice for DS leaving nursery this week as I am sort of planning to go on mat leave about 30th Aug - which is 9 weeks before my due date. Ds starts school about 4th September I think, so I will have 2 weeks holiday before starting leave.

Oops think DH is going to get a shock when we sit down and talk about this tonight!!!

Ohh have just thought of Charlie for a boy - what do you think?

DebbsyandBibby · 21/06/2006 12:55

i like Charlie its cute

podglet · 21/06/2006 13:32

Must update stats with new name too!!
Heard heartbeat again yesterday as have been having major pain in my back and hips. Dr doesn't think it is SPD but has told me to sleep on the floor and take paracetamol!!!

MAMB - we're also having Charlie for a boy (it will be Charles but we'll shorten it) after my lovely grandad who died before we could tell him about the pg.

Good luck with the scan Mygirl - can't wait to hear the news!

Happy Birthday for tomorrow NJ (incase I don't get a chance to log on for a couple of days again...)

DebbsyandBibby · 21/06/2006 14:10

Blimey where is everyone today i work from home and everyone disappears this thread is normally6 non stop is anyone there im a right billy no mates today

pinkmagic1 · 21/06/2006 14:22

Sorry, havn't posted for such a long time. Just waiting till my scan next thursday so we can find out if its a boy or girl in there, can't wait!

DebbsyandBibby · 21/06/2006 14:24

good luck with the scan pink magic

NatalieJane · 21/06/2006 16:31

Thanks Podglet, that's kind of you

Still no news from Mygirl then? I bet they are at Mothercare buying all pink or blue things

I liked Charlie, and so far it is the only boys name we have all agreed on, but I already know of one lady around my area who is calling her girl Charlie, wouldn't like them to be in the same class! So, still nothing lined up for a boy....

Tinasan · 21/06/2006 17:41

Thanks for the chart update MeAndMyBoy! And I think Charlie is a great name, really cute.

Right everybody it's question time again. I weighed myself this morning and I've put on just over a stone at 21 weeks. Is this too much? I was about 8 1/2 stone to start off with. I thought we are supposed to put on about 2 stone overall which I look like overtaking at this rate! Don't think I've been eating too much, so is the 2 stone thing pretty variable?

Have a good evening all!
Tinasan

DebbsyandBibby · 21/06/2006 18:40

tinsan are you small? my bf is 5 foot nothing and put on 4 stone

Hope everyone has a good day today. Need to try and get DS birthday cake make and decorated today so going to be a bit busy me thinks!!

HopingCat · 22/06/2006 08:49

Congratulations Mygirl on your little girl. Is this your 4th girl now? I tend to forget who has what.
What sort of detail could you see on the 4D scan? Did you see what she looked like rather than just outlines like on a normal scan? And could you see her doing things like yawning or sucking her thumb?
