Shagged Out Viroids 7th Thread! From conception to birth...living proof that JSing really does work!

MrsBri · 04/03/2013 21:03

Hello and welcome to another shiny fred for Just Shagging graduates!

The last fred was nice and busy so fingers crossed we get lots more members

For those that don't know, a 'viroid' is from the original JSing thread 1, where someone was trying to type ladies (in reference to all the JSing ladies), but their phone decided to call us all viroids instead!

The name stuck and we've been the JSing viroids ever since.

The last thread saw a few births, including one set of twins, and this one promises to be fruitful also with a number of us nearing the end of the 9 month wait!

Our stats thread is here, so if you find us, please add your stats too.

There is also a Just Mumming thread for grads of the grads thread

And if you want to find out what Just Shagging is about or catch up with the undergrads go say hello to the Just Shaggers here, now on the 14th thread.

Hi all!

Hope you're all well :-)

Huge congrats to Andie! I hope you have a dull, text book, pregnancy.

Awesome news re the scan, Rock. I'm so pleased for you.

Hooya, tell us your names!! I also love the name Seth :-)

I hope you're all dealing with the heat. I'm SO glad I'm not still pregnant!

Amy is doing well and is now past her birth weight and in 0-3 month clothing. I think we maybe had too many newborn clothes, but I didn't expect to give birth to a baby elephant, ha ha! :-)

Thanks MrsBri Glad baby Amy is doing well and growing fast.

How is everyone? You're very quiet viroids now your buns are in the oven. [grin[

Hooya · 20/07/2013 12:23

Hello everyone! Hooray for Rock and good scan!

Andie hope you are feeling good and enjoying the early excitement!

Thanks for the comments re Seth, I do like it though I am now totally in love with the new name Grin will probably tell once I have my shortlist of 3, though I notice everyone else on this thread keeps it as a surprise!

I am MASSIVE suddenly and had my first swollen feet experience this week. Not pretty!

wavesandsmiles · 20/07/2013 12:56

Hello everyone - I'm still cooking my bun here. On off contractions for over a WEEK now. Still just over a week til my actual due date, so I shouldn't really be so fed up already, but the contractions are just teasing me, and I have had such a horrible pregnancy I want to meet my baby and have cuddles with him!

Hooray for your good scan Rock and super news on Amy's progress MrsBri. Andie I am also wishing you a very dull, textbook perfect pregnancy.

Keep waving those labour-inducing pompoms - I would ever so like my baby to appear soon (although technically he missed window of opportunity one, and should stay put until next Sunday at 3pm if I am to manage the remaining gigs for July)

Hooya · 20/07/2013 22:37

Good luck waves it's been incredible just to read about your story. Really hope you get your baby soon!

thethreeblondies · 20/07/2013 22:42

Fingers crossed that tricky pg = nice quick labour Waves I had lots of practice contractions with DD2 and I'm sure they must have been doing something as labour ended up being very quick!

Have a friend with a baby Seth, he's adorable and has gorgeous red hair! Andie my DH keeps putting Obi Wan on our shortlist when I'm not looking! Then today he was suggesting Indianna (raiders of the lost ark was on!) Harrison is actually on our list! Smile

AndieDisestablishment · 21/07/2013 05:39

Oh no blondies I hope my DP doesn't throw that one in. Although I do like Indi for a girl writes on list I actually think we've decided already which is a bit mental. Our DCs prefer my girl name choice. Win!!

Waves Crossing my fingers the contractions are helping and you have nice quick labour. I had tonnes of braxton hicks with both my DC and had 4.25 and 6 hour labours.

Kittenkatzen · 21/07/2013 20:43

I love Indie for a girl! No chance of me getting that past DH though, booo!

Hope everyone's not suffering too much in the heat - waves is it even hotter for you down there or do you have a nice sea breeze?

We went and registered at the mw led birthing centre today - eek! We had a look round last week and it was so lovely that we both just instantly felt comfortable with the decision, despite the hour long drive to get there! Just got to hope for a textbook last 7 weeks now...

thethreeblondies · 22/07/2013 07:49

Just checking in on Waves if today is good enough for the Duchess of Cambridge to go in to labour surely it's good enough for u too! Grin

wavesandsmiles · 22/07/2013 07:54

I'm feeling a bit jealous to be honest! I'm now on day 11 of on off contractions. People keep saying it means I will have a super speedy labour, but I'd rather this baby just got a wriggle on and came out now. If he doesn't arrive by tonight I will officially be the most pregnant I have ever been.

thethreeblondies · 22/07/2013 07:58

The day is still early waves I only properly felt in labour with DD2 at 6pm and had her just before midnight! xx

Kittenkatzen · 22/07/2013 08:17

Ooh is Kate in labour then? Hope you can 'catch' some of her labour vibes waves!

Kittenkatzen · 22/07/2013 08:17

Ooh is Kate in labour then? Hope you can 'catch' some of her labour vibes waves!

AndieDisestablishment · 22/07/2013 09:01

Waves Tell bump you refuse to be outshone by the royal family and that he/she (did you find out the sex?) needs to get a wriggle on.

wavesandsmiles · 22/07/2013 21:23

Andie it's a he bump. And now seems determined to stay put! Grrrr. Back to regular BH contractions now, although that is probably good as DD is poorly.

Weather has cooled down a bit, with just the loveliest light sea breeze, so at least if things actually happen in the next week it will be more comfortable.

Oh, and I am now the most pregnant I have ever been. I think I was just in the pushing stage at this point with DS, and having fun with a week-old DD.

Found myself obsessively contemplating what his nose will look like. Shared this thought with DD who said "mummy, are you ever NOT going to be completely weird" Blush

AndieDisestablishment · 22/07/2013 22:40

I personally take my children thinking I'm weird as a complement. You're within your remit to wonder about bump's nose.lol. Does he not know if he was born today he'd get a special silver coin?!

MrsAVB · 23/07/2013 09:13

Good luck waves, really hoping you have a stress free birth.
I am resigned to bean having a big conk as DH and I both do. Ho hum.
I am annoyed that I'm still being really sick despite being 17 weeks and still on meds (waves sorry for whinging as I know you've had it far worse). Damn preggo lies of feeling better after 12 weeks...
Have a good day all x

cookielove · 23/07/2013 10:53

I'm just gonna test the waters, got my BFP yesterday and today and probably next week when i test again!!

Never thought i would get to this thread!!

notsoold · 23/07/2013 11:16

Hi cookie!!! Welcome!!!

thethreeblondies · 23/07/2013 11:19

Kittenkatzen · 24/07/2013 07:46

Congrats cookie welcome! Grin

mrsavb hope the sickness buggers off and leaves you alone soon!

waves any developments yet?

MrsAVB · 24/07/2013 09:52

Yay cookie congrats! Xxxx

GaryBuseysTeeth · 24/07/2013 10:40

Waves is on her way in (well, she's probably there now).

Welcome & congrats Cookie!!

MRsAVB, sorry you're still suffering with it...cannot believe you're 17wks already.

Hope everyone else is doing well, had a bit of a tease the last few days with BH ramping up & plug loss but nowt today (37+4wks).

AndieDisestablishment · 24/07/2013 14:07

Good luck Waves ^shakes pompoms*

Gary Oooh, a show (I love how its called that, as if anybody actually wants to be "shown" it) FX for BH helping you have a good labour when it's time.

Remind me never to wander over to the dark side that is the baby names thread, people over there are, quite frankly, bastards!
I told my manager that I'm pg today, she said I don't need to put it in writing yet but congrats and thanks for telling her. I figured, as I work on a maternity ward someone needs to know in case I have a fainting fit like I did with DS.lol
How's everyone's symptoms? My nausea is now accompanied by the odd dry heave which is really unpleasant.

Pineapple80 · 24/07/2013 16:02

Good luck Waves!!! Smile

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well! X
