Have to admit back pain isn't too bad unless I do too much or am stood on my feet too long. Cooked a big sunday dinner yesterday and that set it off.
I actually think that baby has moved down a bit now as I'm getting that familiar grinding pain when I walk. I'm sure the MW will tell me on Thursday.

well he was back .. but went away again this morning for another 2 weeks.... gutted.... again... this time he's in the north sea on a rig, not living it up in spain ( meant to be working so he says ) so feel a bit more at ease knowing he's in the middle of the north sea dont think he can get into much trouble in the middle of the sea... or can he !!

Glad i'm not the only one shuffling about like some old bag lady! And my maternity belt from the physio is just awful! Baby hates it when i put it on, goes mad and nestles even further into my ribs!

Well dh has redeemed himself a bit by buying me a huge bag of Maltesers and i've nearly eaten the lot!

Trix I had my 4d scan Saturday and twas amazing experience I'd definately recommend having one. I saw my baba yawn, smile, rub its eyes, suck thumb. Aprilgirl, mine also looks more like a boy and my DH thought he saw a pair of balls lol! (yeah right as if a baba has got saggy sack of balls that big!) Mine has hamster-style cheeks and an little pug nose (so takes after me) on some shots it looked like the eyes were open bit scary that! My dh cried and got all emotional and cant stop talking to my bump now its as if its made it more real now we have seen him in action! Worth every penny! Will attempt to get something scanned on here-anyone know how to do it- help I'm useless with things like that!

I've been getting rib ache too but only on the left side for some reason, sleeping is getting harder now too, waking up really early and apparently snoring my head off cuz keep turning onto my back!

Can I be added to the waddling list? I'm 26+5 and getting bigger by the days! If I sit too long on the sofa when I get up I've got sciatica going down my right leg and I have to hobble about for a bit until I can walk properly. Never had this with ds. Also, if I slouch over, dd gives me such a kick in the ribs it makes me sit up straight!

BHM, Your scan sounded great! Lovely to hear that it was a good experience for your dh too. If you want to put a pic on it's pretty simple. So long as you can get it on to your pc, the MN instructions will show you what to do.
Can highly recommend the TENS too. Like I said I was 5cm when I got to hospital and that was after 4 and a half hours of labouring. I think by that point the contractions were coming every 4/5 mins and I had started to breath through them too.

Aprilgirl, I'll definatley beat you Besides I'm going with my SIL's date for me, 28th July?????? Don't know why she said that but it sounds good to me!

Jayjay, quite excited but I am in total agony atm so I am very glad I have seat tickets. We're leaving it till last minute to go in so we can have a nice meal before.

As I just said am in total agony now and I'm convinced it's the way baby is laying. It feels very very low down. I tried to ring the MW last night as it hurt that much but I couldn't get hold of them so I'll just soldier on till Thursday. I've found the only thing to relieve it is squating. It's like it gives the baby more room.

I'll give you lot special permission to still call me Nbg

Morning ladies, I've woke up with a nasty sore throat and dry chesty cough grrrreat! Kept DH awake all night from snoring and felt this morning like I couldnt breathe as my throat feels closed. Olivo I was sick too after my cup of tea this morning from coughing too much so know how you feeling chick, hope your ok now.

Well I'm off to Hoar Cross Hall for 2 days of pampering Thurs n Fri, then off to Babyshow on Sunday so got an exciting few days ahead, just hope I feel better! Anybody know what medication could I take for it? I'd normally have Covonia but not sure if its allowed?

My baba is kicking me nearly all the time now, even when I'm having a no.2 on the toilet, really pute me off ha (sorry if tmi!). Must have kicked me at least 30 times already this morning, bet he's bruising me from the inside the little tinker! (I remember when we were all moaning about not getting many kicks now its the opposite lol.)

Oh NBG where do I find the MN instructions you mentioned as i have the pics on my pc ready and waiting.

BHM, If you go to By topic and click on member profiles, as if you were about to start a new thread. It comes up like normal so you can write your title and whatever message you want to put and there is an extra box which gives is where you upload your pic too. So type in whereabouts your pic is on your pc, eg My pictures and it will come up with your file, click on the pic and it will load onto the message. It tells you when it's done and asks you to close the box, then you just post the thread.
It's very simple and it tells you what to do.

Had my growth scan today. And yep, he's big. Measuring 30/31 weeks at 28 weeks. Joy.

And the rib ache. Well, caught the little monkey sleeping right up in my cage as snug as a bug. So that explains it. But he looked beautiful. And ds came in with us and was so excited. Waving at each other for sure. He can't believe he saw his baby brother. So im in tomorrow for GTT and then another scan in 4 weeks. (Any excuse to see him!)

Hope all are well, in stonking bad mood today, told dh the dr says i need to rest when i come home tomorrow but obviously football comes first. So he is buggering off out for the Champions League Final. Glad to see i'm of some importance to him.
How much is a divorce these days??
