OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
NewYearNewBoo · 06/01/2013 12:05

Aah I like Rowan, we would have it on the list but our friends have a Rowan too. I am a lot happier today, went for a spin class this morning and 2 different people told me my bump was beautiful and looked really lovely :):)

Do you feel like anything is imminent Tock or Whims Wink

clickingtock · 06/01/2013 17:40

Hello lovelies. Not sure if my waters have gone. Bit of a gush on the sofa after just having a wee (not enough to affect sofa tho, phew Wink). Now pinkish in pad. Getting strong period pains every now and again. Finding it hard to believe baby might be finally on the way. Could be another false start, eh? DP is setting up pool. DS is after bangers and mash for his dinner. Confused Hope we can get him happily in bed without things getting intense. Like I say could be a false start; I really don't feel confident about this. Last time the contractions were thick and fast from the get go....

clickingtock · 06/01/2013 17:41

Ps glad you had such a nice compliment Boo. Smile Bet you have a lovely bump. Thanks

NewYearNewBoo · 06/01/2013 17:50

Ooh Tock that sounds very promising indeed, brooking this is it and baby Tock is finally on its way. Good luck lovely Thanks
And yes I have a very lovely bump, it is a brooking bump and we have the finest bumps around Grin well not for much longer for you Tock

Exciting Tock!! What great timing for me coming back to find you all to lurk some more :)

MN with a newborn is quite hard. Lots of time to read while feeding, winding, jiggling. Not very easy to post though!

Love the name chat, we ended up with two names on our boy list, Euan and T - decided to wait and see him first before choosing. Not because he'd 'look' like one or other, just to see which name felt more right at the time.

Telling people your name choices I'd such a bad idea! Everyone has opinions and don't think twice about giving them. We had real trouble with our choices in the end, as I knew certain family members didn't like each name for some reason. It feels wrong to name a child a name their grandad hates, but one his nan has decided you will name him because she likes it best.

TheLittleFriend · 06/01/2013 18:57

Really exciting Tock! And of course so much less likely to be a false start now, you are past your due date after all. I think you'll have exciting news for us by the morning GrinGrinGrin

Feel free to ignore this next bit, but I'm just so uncomfortable Hmm. My pelvis hurts constantly, and I'm ending up sitting up for hours a night as its unbearable to lay down. I am really ready to have this baby now. But of course, he needs to stay put a few weeks longer.

On a happier note, my star of a dp decorated the baby's bedroom this weekend, and now that the pram has arrived too, it feels like we are actually a bit organised! Though the freshly decorated room has already been refilled with laundry, boxes of stuff etc, as the baby will be in with us for a while. I just didn't want dp to be decorating when baby is here and I need his help! Wink

SweetieTime · 06/01/2013 19:54

Good luck tock very exciting times my dear. brooking for a lovely sneeze birth

little sorry to hear you are so uncomfortable. sounds like you are all good to go for the new arrival

TheLittleFriend · 06/01/2013 19:58

Nice to see you sweetie, good luck with everything you've got going on. I had a little read of the ttc thread, but couldn't name check everyone so didn't post. I'll be brooking for you xSmile

ScrambledSmegs · 06/01/2013 20:08

Ooh, tock that does sound promising! Hope it all goes well and the next thing we hear from you is that you're enjoying snuggles with your newborn!

whimsicalname · 06/01/2013 21:03

Ooh brooking for you tock. Hope it's another lovely relaxed hb.

Sorry to hear you're feeling down little. Iwas in terrible pain with my pelvis last time so I really feel for you. I slept with a giant tubigrip round my tum which was some help. Plus a complicated pillow arrangement.

Hello everyone else. No sign of a baby here.

itsMYNutella · 06/01/2013 22:06

Just checking in to wish tock all the best!! Sounds like it might be it!!

Baby T is a star (when mummy doesn't eat spicy foodConfused oops).

And just wanted to say YY to not discussing names - at least with family! One of my brothers sent me a text saying don't name your baby Theodor and wishing me a merry Christmas Hmm he is the odd brother tho.
And DP agreed to Theodor as long as we dropped the e at the end because they pronounce all the letters in German and then it would sound like a girls name... Found out today that we could have kept the e... Not that it matters! Grin

NewYearNewBoo · 06/01/2013 22:18

Aah, with or without an e, it's a lovely name Nuts, not really bothered anymore what db says, ain't his dc, they're mine and DH's and we will call them whatever suits us!

Tock just wanted to pop in and say hope you're too busy to update, hope you have a good night and meet tiny Tock in a sneeze!! Good luck Thanks

GreenOlives · 06/01/2013 22:25

How exciting tock! Grin Brooking hard for an overnight sneeze birth! Grin Grin Grin
little Really sorry to hear you're struggling Sad it sounds awful. I've been having problems with pelvic/back pain which is definitely worse in bed at night but I can manage about 5 hours before I get up and head to the sofa to sit up and try and catch some more zzzzs! I hope you are managing to get some sleep though. Its really not too long now until our sneeze births!! Smile

GenericDietCola · 06/01/2013 22:31

Brooking for you Tock! not long now!

scarletfestivefingernail · 06/01/2013 22:52

Ooooh Tock it sounds as though your baby is coming! It must be the real thing. So excited for you, I love UBBs (I love all BB arrivals of course, I just get a bit extra excited when we don't know what we're getting Grin) Brooking for a baby by morning for you.

clickingtock · 06/01/2013 22:55

Our beautiful DD was born in the pool at 8.06pm. Amazingly she is the exact same weight as her bro was and they could be twins! She loves BF! We feel so blessed. She's called Astrid Rae Arthur (daddy's surname). Will write about all your news soon and can give a little birth story if wanted. Thanks for all the brooking. You did wonders ladies... Thanks
