Baby brain kicking in? Mine is appalling!

I'm exhausted already today. Went sleep on the sofa before 9 then was awake on and off from 1.30 onwards :-/ Bloody weird dreams too. They get weirder!

And onto my boobs, as I've not mentioned them recently...they've grown so wide they now impede my arm movement backward and forward!! And yesterday was a growth day as they were hard. We've sussed them out!

FrustratedSycamoreBonks · 15/11/2012 08:23

Boob growth impeding movement. That doesn't sound good mrs but I think you're right with the rock hard= growth theory.

I haven't slept too good the past couple of nights. Not helped by dd waking on and off all night. I think I will need matchsticks to keep my eyes open today.

I don't think my boobs will ever be rock hard after bfing DS, no matter how much they're growing! Don't like the sound of them causing movement problems! Mine only hurt when poked hard at the moment. DS seems to find that the easiest place to lean his elbow while trying to stand up... Owwww! Sad

I'm having weird dreams too. Yesterday I dreamt that a male friend & my mum were helping me plan an event while staying at my grandmother's house. It got late so we all decided to sleep there, me & male friend sharing the double bed & my mum in the single bed in the same room. In my sleep I cuddled up to my supposedly gay friend who started kissing me! My mum woke up & kicked him out of the house... I woke up with my skin crawling & feeling physically sick! I shudder just thinking about it! No idea how I'm going to face my friend next time I see him! Hmm

Oh that dream sounds nasty jojo, i hate when you dream of people you know,i think aslong as you dont bump into him today you will be ok Wink
I havnt had the flu jab yet, keep putting it off as don't think I've ever had flu and it does nothing to stop colds........ Hmm what to do
Anyone tried chines birth chart to predict sex? You use the age you were and the month you conceived to get your gender, aparently I'm having another girl! Wink

Jojoba1986 · 15/11/2012 10:26

Yeah, by their reckoning, DS is a girl & this one's a boy!

I see said friend every other week when we help out at a toddler group together. I've got no idea if he is gay or not but I think I'll always be wondering now & will be terrified to be alone with him incase he pounces on me! We're usually the first ones there so I might turn up late for a while! Not that I've been for the last month due to illness!

Good morning.

I feel actually human this morning. Maybe it's just compared to migraine-hangover-yesterday but I actually feel quite sprightly.

I had the flu jab when I saw my GP for my first (and so far only) appointment. The nurse I saw beforehand didn't really discuss it or give me much of an option. She'd the needle out and was lunging at my arm fairly fast! I had intended asking for it anyway though so it's all good. I had the flu about 6 years ago and it was the most miserable week of my life, with the exception of when I got pneumonia a few days later. I'm not taking any chances. Jab me!

peardrop2 · 15/11/2012 12:19

Yeah I did the Chinese thing. Says I'm having a girl but I'm 80% sure it's a boy! Really really really hope they can see evidence at 16 weeks!

Checking in at lunchtime - this thread moves fast!

I've been offered the flu jab but wasn't going to bother as I've only had flu once and I've been more healthy with this preganancy than I am most winters - no colds, sore throats, nothing... I think it's all the vitamins I'm taking! However I wouldn't want to hurt Little Prune so maybe I should. I do work with the public and they're a pretty germ-riddled bunch.

I'm very excited as I picked up my 'Bounty Pack' from Boots and it had some nice lotions in it and handy money off vouchers. I never get anything free so it felt like a real treat (and a reward for feeling sicky and fat)

Does anyone else have a sort of stretchy tummy ache? I'm 11 weeksish and just want to hold my belly up all all time as it's full of a mild, dull ache.

Hello all. Glad people seem better today :-)

I'm not looking at anything re sex, however daft, as I'm trying to avoid even speculating about it. We aren't going to find out!

Good news on the home front in that DH has just been offered 30 hours a week doing funerals with a local director. He's done it casually for years for this bloke and the firm his dad works for, so knows what he's doing.

After 4 years of crap, erratic, work doing building work this is a real blessing.

And my dream was more bizarre. I was somewhere in the Middle East. Not sure where but had to go via Lebanon. And we had to escape somebody. Not sure who. But I was bleeding and saying I was having a miscarriage.

Then that dream stopped and I was in New Zealand with a lad I've not seen for years. But we went to Bri's brother's inlaws' house where he turned into Bri.

Oddness!

Hello!

Sorry I've not posted for a while, I've been lurking, but as I was in a panic about my scan today I didn't want to bring the thread down with my moaning.

Anyway all is good! This morning was an early dating scan, which my Midwife sorted so I didn't need to go private. 2 perfect heart beats seen again, measuring 9+4 weeks! I'm really happy as I'm past the point I had problems last time...my mind had been working overtime! I'm roughly the size I was when DD was 4 months, but not really shocking considering its twins!

So new edd is 16th June, BUT twinnys ignore that for the most part and on average are 2-4 weeks early!

I'm now in my old G cup nursing bras! They went like torpedos, rock hard and huge, but seemed to soften a couple of days ago (Which of course added to my neurotic thoughts!) I was a C/D cup orignially, and a size 12. After DD they went to a DD cup (Eventually, after we stopped BF'ing) but these mammeries are as large as they were at full term!

I think this could be an interesting ride!

Blending How exciting to see 2 heart beats! My boobs are also as big as they were right after DS was born. And I'm as big as I was at at least 4 months last time! That coupled with severe nausea, exhaustion & dizziness since 3dpo is why I'm convinced I'm having twins too.... Or maybe a particularly mean girl. Girls are evil! Wink

Oh blending that's fab news!!!
You shouldn't worry about comming on here to moan or get reasurance, that's what we're here for when you can't divulge in real life!
Interesting talk about different pregnancys and will be good to compare them when we do know gender, I thought as feeling sick this time it may be a boy ( non at all with dd) but have been told by quite a few friends with same sexes there were convinced it was different and felt sicker etc but no!
How can our bodies react do differently to the same thing?!? Baffling

kittykatskumkwat · 15/11/2012 15:09

Oh and jeleous of increased boobage after first dc mine shrunk well smaller and have only just got to original bfp level with dd!!

Very exciting blending!

Also good news on the work front, bri. Must take a bit of stress off for you.

The morning sickness has been gone for a full week! So exciting to feel semi-normal again. Except for the pure exhaustion...that's definitely a bit of a hinder when it comes to doing homework Hmm.

Ooh, so exciting Blending. :-) Bet you're so pleased?

And don't worry about coming on here and being anxious. That's what we are here for.

And thank you, yes he does kind of like it. Collecting bodies isn't his favourite thing, but there you go! Work has been so erratic recently I think he's just relieved to know what money he will have coming in as it has been touch and go some months :-(

He starts on Monday. :-)

pear I've got another week to wait. But I keep getting really weird twinges, which logically is just wind and a lower back ache which is only in the evening, so logically is just my back deciding its had enough for the day but I'm still feeling rather paranoid about it all, even though my logical brain is being logical.

I'm also blooming blooming look like a blooming pizza face [frown] [not fair emoticon]

No I haven't. Sad I'm pretty sure my back ache is just my back being annoying as usual and it's usually the bottom of my back that goes when it goes, which is a few times a year. I'm just being paranoid.

We must share a back, Frustrated, as it is my lower back that goes too. It's already been aching too :-( No hope.

My scan is 3 weeks on Tuesday. Ages away.

If you're sharing a back it's no wonder it's hurting! Wink
