iheart that is not nice I really hope mine doesn't do that.

Woke up because of what I can only describe as bad period pain...clearly another twinge of nothing but I did have 3 seconds of hope!

CharleeWarlee · 18/11/2012 07:01

Good luck charlee!

Hope youre ok today detective

georgee · 18/11/2012 07:36

Good luck charlee!

Just a quick question, particularly for those who've either recently given birth or who are a bit further on than me (39 weeks). My t*ts have suddenly re-assumed that painful quality that they had early on in the pregnancy - just really tender again. Don't feel 'full' and melon-like, like they do when you have them full of milk but I was just wondering if this was a change that happened as part of general bodily changes preparing for birth? Firmly crossing fingers

Sorry about fanjo enquiries pasties - nosy old biddy. At least she stopped short of actually asking to see the stitches ...

FatimaLovesBread · 18/11/2012 07:54

Oooh good question Georgee my boobs are v tender today.

Good luck charlee

I've been up since 6:15. Turned over in bed and was greeted with a mouth full of acid so ended up getting up and being sick twice Sad
Still getting period pains and snotty mucus but nothing more exciting. Really hope my waters don't go in church Smile

Iheartpasties · 18/11/2012 07:55

georgee ha! My life that made me laugh!

Not sure about your boobs, but it sounds very promising.

Iheartpasties · 18/11/2012 08:02

fatima that would be memorable!

georgee · 18/11/2012 08:08

Yeah Fatima I'll stop short of comments about wetting the baby's head! ... was thinking of you in the night with your commitments today and tomorrow. Hope they go well and then once they're over your body thinks 'Right, time to get on with it' - I believe that sometimes happens! All the best.

FatimaLovesBread · 18/11/2012 08:38

Thanks Georgee That's what i'm hoping happens too.

Think DH may treat me to Twilight this afternoon after the Christening

Clarella · 18/11/2012 08:54

Mine have been getting more tender, not quite the levels of early pregnancy though 39 wks tomorrow. I get those little shots of electrical pain i had before bfp.

Lol georgee, yes fatima lets hope not during churchand that you get to go to your twilight..this afternoon!

WaitingForMe · 18/11/2012 09:27

I don't trust anything my body does these days. Despite throwing up Friday night's tea I figured we'd try curry last night. Well the one upside of throwing up a vindaloo is that it clears a blocked nose pretty well. Between some of the most violent vomiting of my life and still having a terrible cough my entire torso hurts. Last night my nipples produced loads of colostrum and period-like pain started so I whipped out the clary sage massage oil. I put some more in this mornings bath and have loads of cramps. Oh and I appear to be leaking (clear very watery discharge).

I'm having none of it. Until my waters break like in the movies or I have proper regular contractions I'm having none of it.

But it hurts quite a lot so I shall sulk.

Catbag · 18/11/2012 09:38

waiting that sounds promising- sounds like waters to me. Fingers crossed you don't have to sulk for much longer x

katkit1 · 18/11/2012 09:49

charlee - Exciting (good luck)

Iheartpasties · 18/11/2012 09:51

waiting ^^ what catbag says Grin :)

WaitingForMe · 18/11/2012 10:08

DH just got crossly informed that me screaming in pain was not a valid reason to stop vacuuming. They aren't contractions if they hurt all the time!

Had a sudden bout of nesting and decided the living room furniture needed polishing. God forbid this is the start and people come to visit and see dust Shock

mrswee · 18/11/2012 10:13

hi every one. Congrats on the babies so far. I've been lurking on FB so have seen some very cute baby pictures!

Ive been reading a bit but not managed to post. sorry I dissapeared for another week!

Hope you had a nice weekend over your birthday georgee and cacacaz
I have a 'surprise' baby shower where all my girl friends gave me a money box they had put in to, which was great. I was up a john lewis on the sunday buying all the baby essentials we don't have and needed but hadn't get yet cause we are so stupidly skint.

DD gets her new bed today bought from the ikea vouchers we got as compensation for our mucked up kitchen.

I am scared about how her going from a bed to a cot is going to affect the amount of sleep we get pre baby.

Lilliana · 18/11/2012 10:48

Morning all,not much to say but I'm still here.

Detective, sending you hugs, Brew and Thanks Look after yourself

Waiting sounds like something is moving, love that you are getting Dh to nest for you!

Good luck Charlee

WaitingForMe · 18/11/2012 11:18

DH asked me to pack the last few things for the hospital bag. It's now in the hallway.

I still concede NOTHING and haven't yet let him time the um "peaks" in period-like pain.

Although I do think the bastard is laughing at me!

Iheartpasties · 18/11/2012 11:38

waiting I'm excited for you, I am wishing you the best of luck. Fingers crossed for some baby news the next time I log on :)

YellowWellies · 18/11/2012 12:39

Yey waiting go for it chick!!! Not long now and that SPD pain will be a thing of the past xxx

jaylee89 · 18/11/2012 12:59
