Have just had my curry and bath...decided against even attempting to sweep myself. The thought keeps making me judder.

Half an hour and i'll be cracking on with me pineapple hoping for the best.

Have also just realised that if I do go in to labour - which I very much doubt - then I might have a curry poo when pushing

My dh delivered dd1 at home. It was lovely, do not panic ladies! I'm impressed you're thinking ahead about it, it never in a million years occurred to me that they was fast first time births! I always want to ask the midwives how often it happens.

You really are a complete star Detective - invaluable information plus comedy (dolled up for a turd! ha!) in the space of a post or two ... and thanks for that reassurance pasties. I feel better now!

So pleased for you apple that you have your beautiful baby, and Lane too - lovely name (my DD has the middle name of Rose too so I'm probably biased!).

Booked in for a sweep on Wednesday if nothing happens by then. Also MW said she could do one every 48 hours so would do another one on Friday if it doesn't work. Hoping that some sweeps will help me avoid induction. (My mum was induced twice with me and I really don't want that to happen to me!)

I've decided it isn't poo, but it's just uncomfy BH's. I dunno what it is really. It doesn't seem to be changing much. Some stronger ones, but was just having one when I read something on here which made me giggle. So clearly not that fecking uncomfortable gerogee made me laff .

I had cuddles with 3 of the 4 NCT babies that have arrived so far. Am horrifically jealous of everyone with their babies right now. Want mine god damn it!

WaitingForMe I got into a wonderful flap on Monday by googling - mind was only put at rest after a scan at hospital on Tuesday (I am never googling again)

Detective I just did the same. DP looked at me with a look and sent me on my way to the bathroom

Ive decided to halt everything after eating a hot curry and having lots of pineapple because, if by chance things did happen then I would be awfully embarrassed going to LW riddled with oral and vaginal thrush and my hair looking like an actual birds nest because I cant be bothered to straighten it after my bath.

I do feel sorry for you though Detective. Shit the baby out already!

We too went out for a panicked ' we'll not manage this for a while' curry (well, it's more Indian street food, gorgeous!)

I posted on facebook 'feels rather stretched' - not at all mentioned pregnancy throughout- on fb, other than double entendres only my closer friends would get , and fellow preggo martial arts friend postedaabout the perineal ring of fire and the joys of pregnancy, ( a little ) - not actually heard it put like that before and definately reaching for the ep now, stuff the mw and her 'it doesn't work chick' I neeeeed placebos! (And not two rings of fire :/)

We have progress!! When I wiped after my bath early it was pinky tinged and I've just had some blood tinged discharge. Guessing its the start of my show.
I know it could still be weeks but its a step in the right direction
