Congratulations Shelly and chunky Thanks

I've been AWOL all day but no exciting action. Most excitement I had today was going to what must be the world's biggest Tesco [loser]

Been to bed but I feel shit so got back up again. Sorry, moan time, I just feel so fed up and antsy and generally not right, like I could just have a big cry. I am so over being pregnant.

Detective I'm going to go for the midnight showing. I went to the Twiathlon last year, it was hard work.

I'm now on the sofa with my duvet and pillow watching 'You've got mail', hoping it will make me feel less crappy Sad

Iheartpasties · 11/11/2012 23:25

I find some days that I wake up ready for the day and calm and all 'whatever happens will happen', then other days (with no warning) I'm all 'argh argh and double argh' at everything and everyone. So far today I feel calm. I've just stuck on the second load of washing, I've been sweeping the floors, and mn-ing! Off for a shower now.

DD can have 15 mins of tv (yeah right, it'll be more than that by the day is out!!).

FatimaLovesBread · 11/11/2012 23:32

IHeart I must be having your argh day then Grin
Just couldn't be bothered with being pregnant today. I feel a bit deflated and tired. Hopefully tomorrow will be a calm, whatever happens day

TheDetective · 11/11/2012 23:34

I'm just fed up with life now! I think I wake up on the wrong side of the bed every day lately!

HORMONES Angry

MissMummy1 · 11/11/2012 23:41

I'm fed up of being sick all the time. Of being the size of a whale. Of not being able to sleep lying down, ergo no sleep for mm1. And worst of all, being so damn dependant on other people!

MissMummy1 · 11/11/2012 23:45

Also, I realised yesterday that although I have my driveway back, I can't actually park on it. It's more of a carport under our house than an actual open driveway and I'm physically too big and immobile to squeeze out between the car and the side wall of our house Blush My next door neighbour asked me if I was still parking on the street because i was couldn't reverse the car in mysoginistic bastard Angry

Chunkychicken · 11/11/2012 23:48

OMG after pains are a BITCH!!! Have taken Paracetomol, even had a small glass of bubbly, but it still hurts!! Angry

Chunkychicken · 11/11/2012 23:51

Oh but thanks everyone for the congrats!!! Thanks

TheDetective · 11/11/2012 23:56

Ibuprofen Chunky if not allergic/asthmatic or no other contraindications!

And a hot water bottle :)

FatimaLovesBread · 11/11/2012 23:58

OMG MM I think i'd have punched him the mood i'm in. If it helps i'm making DH chaufeur me everywhere as I can't be arsed it's too uncomfortable to drive.
Also, saw you on a thread, didn't realise you're nearly 21, for some reason I thought you were a bit older. Not that it matters, just makes me feel old Grin DH and I have a similar age gap

FatimaLovesBread · 12/11/2012 00:00

Oh and Detective, my finger went it. Haven't had a show yet, but couldn't feel a plug although I suppose that could be further in.

Hmmm, now it seems like i've spent the day marvelling at the size of Tesco, being grumpy and inspecting my own cervix, I do have a life honestly Grin

TheDetective · 12/11/2012 00:09

I don't. My life has stopped!

My days consist of grumping around the house or shopping for mundane shit. Or the school run. Bah humbug.

After the possible shag/walk/chilli combo tomorrow I might right christmas cards.

This is the life Hmm.

If you could get one finger in, its probably about 1cm, was there room to wiggle said finger about?! You wouldn't feel a 'show' as such! Don't worry!

I always see you on threads Fatima in fact I have been seeing lots of the Nov ladies on other threads. It always seems strange Grin.

TheDetective · 12/11/2012 00:10

OMG! Right?! Write. Dumb ass preggo brain strikes again Hmm.

FatimaLovesBread · 12/11/2012 01:05

I was thinking of writing christmas cards too and sorting through photos if I can be bothered.

I used to lurk a lot on thread but i've started to be a big brave girl and actually post on some of them

Iheartpasties · 12/11/2012 01:18

chunky glass of bubbles!! that sounds heavenly!!

I have not been in the garage for about a year (it feels like that anyway) because the car is very snug in our garage and ther is no way on earth I can fit in there and try and open a door, dh has always had to get the car out for me, and the last 2 weeks he's had the car anyway, so he can nip home quickly when things start up for me. Argh!! I wish now we had not planned ahead and been sensible because this baby is not coming, and would have probably come by now if we had been unorganised!!!??? I'm not gunna do a thing for the next one and be totally unorganised!!!!!

It's hard to write chrimbo cards to be honest (I've posted a few already) because I had to sign them 'and bump' at the end!!

Iheartpasties · 12/11/2012 01:19

fatima 1cm, that is pretty good!! and wow, just wow that you can reach your own cervix.

Iheartpasties · 12/11/2012 01:22

mm1 rude neighbour! He would have got shown two fingers from me!!

Clarella · 12/11/2012 02:42

Tmi sorry ( i think) When you ladies talk about pootractions what do you mean?

Cacacaz · 12/11/2012 02:46

Back at hospital 3 cm dilated, contractions painful but I'm coping right now! Be back when I'm a mummy Grin

Chunkychicken · 12/11/2012 02:59

Good luck cacacaz :)

Pootractions = painful BH type tightenings that turn out to be eased/caused by having/needing a poo Clarella. Basically another way your body taunts you in the last few wks of birth.

Oh and thank you Detective wasn't sure if I could take ibuprofen now. Is it ok if breastfeeding? p.s. am keeping my fingers crossed for your HB.

Clarella · 12/11/2012 03:44

Good luck cazcaz ! :)

Ah thanks, yes have those and weetractions too, but also getting feeling like need poo and in lower back and dont so thinking some niggling going on (though well aware could continue to edd in 2 weeks Grin

Iheartpasties · 12/11/2012 05:07

chunky you can take some pain medication with breastfeeding, i cannot remember which one it is, you should be able to ask someone - is there a breastfeeding hotline you can ring??

I get wee-tractions the worst, feels like my bladder is really really full but i might only be a trickle! And nd i get poo-tractions!!

Anyway I have just phone dh at work and asked him to come home, i think things might be kicking off slightly, but i am 100% unsure.

kirrinIsland · 12/11/2012 05:52

Ooh, exciting pasties

Think things are kicking off here as well haven't said that before! getting some fairly regular painful contractions in the last hour...

applepieinthesky · 12/11/2012 05:59

I can't sleep. Had some really painful tightenings but they aren't regular enough yet. I'm such a wuss, don't know if I can do this.

StuntNun · 12/11/2012 06:17

Good luck Cacacaz and Pasties.

Chunky ibuprofen is fine to take when breastfeeding as only minimal quantities pass into your breastmilk. If you're worried ask your GP or Dr Google.
