Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
TheDetective · 30/09/2012 08:15

Yes, all was ok when I left. They do need extra close monitoring though, particularly with feeding and blood glucose levels. Also they often have breathing issues - but generally other than that, they are fine.

TheDetective · 30/09/2012 08:16

Any feeding/respiritory issues usually resolve themselves with in a few days though.

horseylady · 30/09/2012 09:20

I was so busy yesterday! Got in from job 2 at 1am dh had been out drinking and kept coughing :( then hiccoughing. So barely any sleep for me :( at job 2 shortly and really don't want to go!!

Vq hope your lo is better

JAylee very scary!!

Evil hope your pain subsides!!

Iheartpasties · 30/09/2012 09:54

jaylee wow, that must have been really scary!

ValiumQueen · 30/09/2012 10:06

Dr agrees likely reaction to antibiotic, so now on another. Still low grade fever, but much better now. Kids eh! Who'd have 'em!

NervousAt20 · 30/09/2012 10:19

Morning all, thankyou for all your thoughts, thankfully everything is okay they gave me lots of monitoring and I had a scan and baby's heart beat stayed nice and regular which was a massive release, she still wasn't keen on moving much and just refused in the scan but there happy that all is well Smile the little mite has changed positions though and is now breech, she was head down and she's back to back aswell so I have to go back to the hospital in 2 weeks for another scan and a antenatal clinic to see if she's moved around. Glad everything's okay missmummy

Going back to catch up on the thread

Iheartpasties · 30/09/2012 10:29

nervous glad all is good for you - a shame she is breech though!

horseylady · 30/09/2012 10:39

Nervous - pleased all is ok!!! Apart from breach but she might turn!! Must be a relief for you

Passmethecrisps · 30/09/2012 10:42

Great news nervous! I am very pleased everything is ok.

Similarly vq it must be a relief to have her on the mend a bit.

Passmethecrisps · 30/09/2012 10:44

Oh and horsey is it possible for you to take it easy at work? I sympathise with the hiccuping DH. My DH can snore so loudly he waked himself up. He does respond well to a wee poke in the ribs though.

NervousAt20 · 30/09/2012 10:52

Just caught up on the thread, sorry to have left you ladies worrying, I completely crashed yesturday and just slept on the sofa and feel much better for it but thank you all for thinking of us it's lovely of you

jaylee hope your okay and LO stays put. Get lots of rest too

I swear we will all be grey and aged an extra 10years with worry and stress over these LO before they even arrive

VQ your poor DD, sounds like she's having such a tough time at the moment with school and now she's ill. I really hope you get somewhere with the school first an they put some proper care in place to protect your DD and that she feels better soon

applepieinthesky · 30/09/2012 11:16

So pleased you and baby are ok nervous. You had me worried for a while.

It looks like I may have a wedding to plan Smile I have been with DP for nine years now and we have been engaged for most of that. Do we get a prize for longest engagement? Next year we will have been together for ten years and with the little one on the way he wants to make everything official. Finally.

Sophiathesnowfairy · 30/09/2012 11:22

Phew nervous welcome back glad everything is ok.

vq hope things look better with the new antibiotic.

Just lunching DS then off for my ladies lunch in Biscester! Grin
xx

kirrinIsland · 30/09/2012 11:26

Great to hear from you nervous - glad all is well.

Iheartpasties · 30/09/2012 11:37

apple CONGRATS!!!!

Passmethecrisps · 30/09/2012 11:54

Hooray apple! We were together 10 years and had a 6 month engagement. Wedding planning is great fun. Enjoy!

ShellyBobbs · 30/09/2012 11:56

I still have 5 little girls in my house. It's all wearing a bit thin now. Roll on 3pm when the last one goes home Blush

ShellyBobbs · 30/09/2012 11:59

Apple congrats!

I'm not one of those women who enjoyed planning my wedding, I didn't even bother with invites, just told everyone to tell everyone to come to the reception (we got married in Cornwall with a very small group of people). Thankfully that was nearly 12 years ago now. As presents we got people to organise and chip into the buffet, DJ and room hire, we didn't have to organise anything at all. Suited me down to the ground Grin.

ShellyBobbs · 30/09/2012 11:59

Hence to say, the reception was back up here where we live, not in Cornwall :)

Evilwater · 30/09/2012 12:07

apple- yay! I hope you enjoy your wedding plans.
shelly - not long to go, just three hours.

I had a rotten night, and I'm pissed of with my sister. She gave her look! WTF! And I'm pissed at me to for not yelling at her, but we were in a cafe.

I'm tired and angry, I'm too tired to yell, and to angry to sleep.

Well I'll try and get some rest. So much for resting.....
Evil

Free Tena lady samples here freebies

Thought it may be fitting for us at this time in our pregnancy, although some of us won't be receiving them until after the birth as they take up to 28 days :)

ShellyBobbs · 30/09/2012 12:10

2 hrs 50 Evil Grin

ValiumQueen · 30/09/2012 12:35

Good news nervous thankfully it is a different DD who is ill, so they are sharing the troubles. Little one is doing very well today, and loves the new antibiotics. Strange child.

And congratulations apple I loved planning my wedding, and even made my own dress. My mum did not even see it before the day, and she said I looked like a whore. I said to her that was just the reaction I wanted! Seriously, it was Grin

kissyfur · 30/09/2012 12:54

Glad to hear all is well nervous

Congrats apple! DP and I have been together 13 and a half years, got engaged in 2008, so you beat us on length of engagement Grin Hopefully I'll be planning a wedding next year too, so far every time I've started thinking about it, a baby has come along instead and we've had to put plans on hold.

applepieinthesky · 30/09/2012 13:06

We have been together a long time but have had plenty of ups and downs like everyone I suppose. A year ago we were going through the most difficult time and came very close to splitting. I would never have believed at the time that a year later I would be close to having our first baby and planning a wedding. Funny how quickly things can change isn't it?

It will be a very small wedding with the minimum of fuss. Neither of us are the partying type and we are both private people who don't like a lot of attention.

Shock Grin VQ you do make me laugh!
