morning all, i have just been picking at my meals due to eating inbetween.
kk and mabel lol @ your dreams, I had one the other night that I gave birth to a girl not as funny as your dreams

I might not post for a while as we are cancelling our aol subcription tonight and going to tiscali which will save abit of money per month, tiscali says it could take upto 15days to get connected with them, is anybody with them if so do you find its ok?

All ok here, no movements yet, still have morning sickness and tiredness. I just keep forgetting to take my folic acid arghhh

calvemjoe · 20/02/2006 12:58

We're with tiscali and they are great. We've had no probs at all. x

mabel1973 · 20/02/2006 12:59

benjaminsmum I went on the next website at the weekend and couldn't see the jeans I wanted in the longer length they were all 32" leg. Maybe It was just that particular style.
Also on the topshop site, although they do different lengths in store, they didn't on line.
I think ebay is the way forward!

kreamkrackers · 20/02/2006 14:40

mabel - lol at your dream

bella - my hunger pains seem to come on all of a sudden and then as soon as i start eating i feel full, hopefully it's a sign that i won't gain as much weight this time.

puppy - i keep forgetting to take the folic acid tablets, i was so good at remembering with dd but this time i just can't remember.

calvemjoe - i read part of that thread. i've been at really low points but when i'm like that i try to hide it not do what she did. i still think she needs help as she obviously does have issues that need to be addressed.

compo - lol at your ds, my dd does the same in the middle of the night, she has a singing voice that she often does and also says hello and throws toys out of the cotbed then shouts all gone! if i go in she gets upset as she thinks it's time to get up and can be sick with being on the pump at night so i have to just leave her. dp sleeps through it all and thinks i make it up!

benjaminsmum - hope you enjoyed your lunch.

Coriander73 · 20/02/2006 15:06

Hey all,

I'm very tearful at the moment. Cried yesterday & today at work (think that may have something
to do with my boss who sent me a couple of snooty emails). I don't know what's wrong but just feel as though I'll cry at the drop of a hat. I'm also anxious about the scan (next Tuesday). Keep dreaming about twins (none in family so far) & how'd we cope etc. I know this seems as though I'm getting ahead of myself but what with lying there wide awake at 4am in the morning, I'm just driving myself mad. Also DH keeps pestering me for sex & I JUST CAN'T FACE IT.....EVER AGAIN AT THE MOMENT!!!!!! Arrrggghhhhhh

Also went to M & P yesterday & I realised how much I hate maternity clothes. I'd just got back to pre-pregnancy weight & now I feel huge & wide again!! I really don't enjoy being pregnant at all....& I'm surrounded by friends & colleagues who positively bloom for 9 months. Tell me I'm not the only one who'd rather skip pg & just be presented with the baby at the end of it all??!!!! Please, anyone?!!!

kreamkrackers · 20/02/2006 15:21

i love it and hate it!
love:
feeling baby kick
talking about pregnancy
knowing there is life growing inside me
watching my tummy in the bath
having the scans
hearing baby's heartbeat
having an excuss to eat loads
the feeling when baby is finally out

hate:
headaches
weight gain
tiredness
sore back
mood swings
stress later on in needing a spotless house
labour

can't think of anymore at the moment, oh yeah hate the forgetfulness.

intergalacticwalrus · 20/02/2006 15:55

Right, I am officially a member of this thread, as have just come back from my scan, and am 10+4 weeks, which makes me due on Sept 14th. Woohoo!!!!!!!!!!!! As I'll prob have a CS, after the labour fiasco with DS1, it'll be a few days earlier. Can't wait!!!! 1/4 of the way there already!

hope you feel better soon norms

welcome intergalacticwalrus

HellKat · 20/02/2006 17:34

Norms- Hope you feel better soon hun x
Walrus- Great news!!!!! You're due the day before me!

I love being pg but I dont like this early pg bit for one reason. You don't look quite pg yet (could pass for having a huge gut) and look chunky. I love the rest though, where you look 110% pg. I love being big, feeling babba move, labour the lot . Only thing I'm not looking forward to again are the getting up every 2 hrs for a feed but hey don't sleep much anymore anyway

mabel1973 · 20/02/2006 18:09

norms - hope you get better X

Coriander - I can sympathise. I it took me a good 9 months to loose my pregnancy weight and now i's all piling back on again. I feel fat and I agree most maternity clothes are vile. I have had a couple of tearful episodes as well, but on the whole just feel down right grumpy. and I know I should be happy and blooming!
So you are not on your own hun!

By the way I have bought lots of longer tops in a size up instead of maternity clothes from places like H&M and TKmaxx. So you don't have to look dowdy!
Why is it they make maternity clothes that would suit someone who's approaching middle age rather than someone one of child bearing age i.e. young. Or is it like the height thing - as well as shrinking when pregnant you have to loose all sense of style?

anyway rant over ....!!

compo · 20/02/2006 19:04

congratulations intergalacticwalrus!!
Am I right in thinking there are no first time mums on this thread?
I'm not loving the being sick part of being pregnant but am very excited about the scan (2 weeks today!!). I also hate the feelign nervous before the scan, can't wait to feel confident talkign about the new baby with people after the scan!! I'm dreadign the sleepless nights and the breastfeeding as both were awful last time. But hopefully I'll know more what i'm doing this time. I won't hesiatate to go onto bottles though if it turns out like last time - bleeding, cracked nipples - worse than bloomin' labour!! Also after poor Highlander's thread that some of us here were contributing too I am a bit nervous about going into hosptial after some of those horror stories!!

calvemjoe · 20/02/2006 20:09

Norms, hope you feel better soon, I can't begin to imagine what you and homemama are going through but it sound horrendous.

I'm split when it comes to pregnancy, I love most of it, but hate the migraines, heartburn and worry, plus it leaves me feeling so drained.

CarlyP · 20/02/2006 23:13

Carly - oh God, how terrible. Like Hellkat have been there myself and know how devastating this news is!!
Take care of yourself xx

Hellkat - just wondered seeing as you are the same weeks as me - are you feeling sick at all?
Sorry paranoia kicking in that I don't feel sick!

HellKat · 21/02/2006 09:22

Bella- I've never got ms, in any of my pg's. I've felt queasy once in a while but that's it. Tiredness still there though lol. But should only be for another week.
