Should add, the blood tests were done last Thursday so are almost a week old.

I need Wine ! Wont though.

Bubblebell1 · 29/02/2012 16:16

psam I have googled and it says that some people have healthy pregnancies with low levels of progesterone and now you are having medication it can only be a good thing. Other than the meds what else have they suggested?

I think that as u are still feeling pregnant everything is ok.

I'm thinking of you and understand your concerns.

Here if you need me {hugs}

Psammead · 29/02/2012 16:21

Thank you, you are very sweet!

Other than the medication, nothing so far.

Definitely still got pg symptoms!

Positive thinking. That's got to be the best thing. Sorry for hyjacking the thread Blush

RnB · 29/02/2012 17:40

Psam - really hope you are ok, must be so worrying. At least you'll have your meds soon, and hopefully will be closely monitored.

Well, back from my scan, and it's good news Smile. All was fine, strong heartbeat, everything in the right place. I'm 10+1 and due on sept 30th but would still like to stay with you ladies as If that's ok (always go overdue anyway!)

CaptainHetty · 29/02/2012 17:41

Hi everyone, hope you're all well. Sorry I haven't been on for ages, my laptop died a horrible death and I haven't been back online long! Will read back a few pages and try and catch up with you all - everything is well here, got a scan date for March 29th which still seems aaaaages away, but not heard so much as a peep from the MW yet. I'm about 8+3 so not sure whether I should contact her (surgery told me to wait) or give her a bit longer to get in touch Hmm

Have an immense craving for ice so I've been crunching ice cubes for the past two days, I feel slightly odd but hey, at least I definitely won't dehydrate...

Psammead · 29/02/2012 18:04

RnB that's great news!

babybrain3 · 29/02/2012 18:07

I called my surgery today as not heard from either mw or scan date, and they said mw usually contacts between 8-12 weeks... More waiting then...

Fx everything goes ok for you psam

CottonSock · 29/02/2012 18:14

Hi all

Psammed was it a routine blood test? perhaps lots of people have low levels and would not know it. I for one have not had my blood tested, so makes me think, if it's not standard to test, then I don't know how they would know whats normal? I hope the drugs put your mind at rest.

I feel like my stomach popped out over night, I'm 7+3, def change in shape.
Feeling like I need to hold it in..

Welcome newbies...

I'm off to play / learn Poker! (and need a new excuse for not drinking)

Psammead · 29/02/2012 18:21

I don't think it's standard in the UK unless you have suffered multiple miscarriages. I had one miscarriage last year but it was so early I hadn't even seen a doctor at that stage. I am in Germany though, it's all a bit different here. I will try to find my notes from my pregnancy with DD to see what it was at this stage back then.

I have, with hiindsight, been experiencing several symptoms of low progesterone, which I have just been googling. Extreme anxiety, depression, foggy thinking, nervousness etc, none of which are like me. I figured it was just a pg thing. The anxiety and depression has been pretty extreme, I was going to bring it up at my next appointment but now I know why...

Psammead · 29/02/2012 18:22

Poker is great fun!

As a newbie, don't bluff, and just go for it if you have anything better than a pair in your hand! It's quite rare to get much better than that.

isheisnthe · 29/02/2012 18:49

Good news! There was a little heart beat fluttering away and measuring 7+6. So pleased :-) I've been feeling in limbo really and now I don't! Only worry is that at the first scan they found to small cysts which have got slightly bigger so they will be keeping an eye on them and may remove them when I'm past 16 weeks, has anyone heard of anything like that before? They have also put me under consultant care because of my age!!!! Bloody cheek, I'm only 35!

Bubblebell1 · 29/02/2012 18:57

Congrats rnb and ishe. I had my scan aswell today. Everything was fine and saw my little bean. Got some pics too, I'm 8+3 next scan is 28th march x

Psammead · 29/02/2012 19:16

35, you old gimmer Grin - bloody cheek!

Congrats on the successful scans Smile

GizzyBoo · 29/02/2012 20:09

Yay to all today's scanners .... wonderful news Grin

I am 35 too (almost 36) and they can try all they like to put me under consultant care.....I won't be seeing one!

I am cream crackered.....my roast dinner was lush and I actually managed to eat some! I am now trying desperately to stay awake until OBEM lol

Dd came home from school today and asked if we could call the baby Lexi....I did laugh...then said no Blush She also asked where I was having the baby so I explained if all was well we would be having a home birth here on the island. She then asked if she could be my birth partner....bless her! Smile

LoopyLa · 29/02/2012 20:47

isheisnthe I'm 34, fast approaching my 35th birthday (just under 2 months) so understand how you feel!! Hmm

Psammead "gimmer"?!! What a brilliant word, love it!! Grin

GizzyBoo · 01/03/2012 09:29

Morning Smile

How you feeling today Psam??

Pezzina · 01/03/2012 10:51

Morning all! Smile Morning Gizzy

How's everyone doing today? Just catching up and glad to read everyones good news regarding their scans.

I've not got a date through for the first scan yet - getting slightly impatient. I think I'll be 10 weeks this weekend so hopefully I'll get a date through soon.

Been having really vivid dreams lately and last night I had a dream where I had a terrible fight with DH - all over potatoes! Blush I was actually punching him in my dream and when I woke up I was all fired up and angry. Poor DH - wanted to give me a good morning cuddle but I wouldn't let him near me because I was still so angry from the dream! Confused

Psammead · 01/03/2012 11:19

Morning Gizzy - had a terrible night, not much sleep, but today feeling ok. Thanks for asking! I think because I have to look after DD, I've no time to be upset or anything.

Got the stuff from the pharmacy. I think it's just a matter of wait and see now.

Had cramps in the night but I think it was just a stomachache. Frightened me.

How are you?

Beeblebear · 01/03/2012 13:58

Ditto on the rotten sleep. Fault like I was up a dozen times to pee and felt like I was going to be sil each time but never did. No more soup for super.

MakeTeaNotWar · 01/03/2012 14:45

Oh god the dreams are insane! I had a really vile dream about making sparrow sandwiches! Yes sparrow! A birdie between two slices of buttered bread, feathers still on and I had to make stacks of the bloody things.

Snap pezz I'm 10 weeks on Monday, no idea of when this scan is

Psammead · 01/03/2012 15:21

Two nights ago I dreamt there was a superfast flying spider in the living room and a ghost, which could control a chandelier and would turn on one little light to show us in which direction the spider was hiding so we could find it and kill it.
