Mmmmmmm Mr. Whippy...

CurlyCasper · 10/06/2012 12:53

Today the pain in my belly is screaming that I'm pregnant! It goes to my bowels
in a non puking way.

The not List explained: the whole ethos of ESH involves escaping buses and baby dust etc, and those Fred's are known for their lists, and we don't do lists. But we were losing track of eachother's pregnancies, so it was finally agreed to make a record which was most definitely NOT a list, and could only be updated at the start of a new Fred. Early diffed menkullers always welcome to stay off ths not list until such a time as they feel comfortable.

cakeandcava · 10/06/2012 15:42

Ahem, hello! Thought I'd poke my toe into the PESH Deli as well. Been lurking for a few weeks to see if the thread got active again...

I spent a bit of time over on BESH last year, but can't seem to recognize that many people over there now? Hoping it's because everyone got diffed... I was due to start IVF, had a miracle pregnancy, and then promptly MMC'd. I stopped posting after that as I had a bit of a difficult time with everything. Spending time online and Mumsnet was driving me insane, so I went cold turkey.

Anyway, fast forward a year and a bit, and I've managed to bag another miracle diff, and this one seems to be a sticky one! Started lurking a bit again a few weeks back, been reading over old threads.
Kat (if you're reading) -so delighted for you! You were brilliant to me when I lost the last one, and I literally punched the air when I saw you'd had a little one! Congrats!
Dor am I right that you were around last year, and have just had a slight name change? Congrats!! :)
Any other name changers that I (should) know, and to those of you that I don't know, congrats to you too! :)

Now, what's this about a Mr. Whippy...?

FriendofDorothy · 10/06/2012 15:44

Hi cakeandcava. How many weeks are you?

I used to be known as Auntie Doris.

cakeandcava · 10/06/2012 16:24

I thought that might be you Dor Great news! How many weeks are you?

I'm 21 weeks today. Still can't quite believe it's happening, but as it's starting to show a little I don't have much choice... Massive fears of jinxment means I've not told that many people or made any announcements, but I bumped (see what I did there Wink) into a friend I'd not seen for a few months the other day and had to tell her as she was rather obviously eyeing up my midriff.

FriendofDorothy · 10/06/2012 17:14

I am 13 weeks today and I am feeling a little less stressed out. I had a few weeks of bleeding earlier in the first trimester.

I am about a size 18 and therefore don't expect to show a bump for a long time, but I can definitely feel a harder bit on my belly just above my pubic bone which I presume it my uterus. It feels quite weird! I also feel a 'heaviness' down there and lots of stretching which I am assuming is all normal.

NB:I am still keeping my Christmas name, as it was my lucky one, but am the mole formally of the starshapedcunt.

KatAndKit · 10/06/2012 19:31

cakes so good to see you back again and i am thrilled to hear your good news. A double FCFU! 21 weeks too! did you find out the sex of the baybee?

bugs you joined just after cake stopped posting on the BESH fred. And soon enough you will never get a decent kip at all ;-)

CurlyCasper · 10/06/2012 19:33

moley! [gropes bump and tits]

Hi everyone else too. So jealous of those a wee but further along. I'm now officially stuck with what I call differs' diarrhoea. Bloody agony but at least my useless-unless-producing-milk nips don't hurt.

bugs, no namechange, as kat says, I guess we just missed eachother. I guess that means you've been menkulling for at least a year? massive congrats -how are you feeling?

-glad you're still around! I found out this week I am having a little boy :)

moley 31 weeks!! That feels like so far away... Almost time to get that bag packed isn't it?

and aah yes, the differs' diarrhoea, I seem to have replaced it with the differs' pooing-once-a-week-if-you're-lucky. Not sure which one is more fun.

I feel for you cake. I was extremely constipated shortly before my first was born. I have to sit on trains for a total of three and a half hours today. It's going to be interesting. [walks off singing Ring of Fire]

queenrollo · 11/06/2012 09:24

i feel queasy this morning. I keep thinking it's a bit early for that, but it's definitely not my imagination. When I was PG with DS I can't remember when it started, but I felt sick for what seemed like forever and i needed to eat every two hours to keep my blood sugar stable or I felt really vomitous.
I'm hoping such early queasiness is a good sign. I haven't really let myself get excited or let this news properly sink in yet, because I don't want to have a big fall if it all goes wrong.

Casserole · 11/06/2012 09:39

It's nice to see PESH being active again.

Congratulations to all recent differs - Bugger, Curly and any others. Grand grand news for a rainy Monday morning :)

Pritt sticks and velcro to the lot of you.

cakeandcava · 11/06/2012 12:04

Bugs sorry to hear about first diffment -'tis truly a horrific thing, I know :(
Seconding the call for superglue for all the newly diffed.

queenie queasiness sounds good. I had the same up until last month -I ate like a ravaged monster to fend it off. It's great when the books happily describe how the baybee 'now weighs 150 grams!' and you've put on 6 kilograms Blush

Okay. I iz a freak. Had to pee on a stick again just so I could admire the darkening lines.

I'm having the same MS symptom as you, Bugs - not really sick but just a constant low-level blurghy nausea.

I was concerned that I was 'losing' my symptoms and TOM reminded me that they will fluctuate. And it's normal.

I'm waiting to hear back from a friend who is having an early scan today at 7ish wks - she's also lost several pregnancies over the past year and her consultant iz being very luffly.

Has anyone else self-diagnosed 75mg of aspirin?

Hope you're all staying dry in this horrid winter summer weather.

blonderthanred · 11/06/2012 17:23

LP, nothing freakish there - or if it is then I am one too. It's possible.

I had the same thing of queasiness but no actual vomming. It is scary when it goes away for a bit. But it comes back.

Quite scared of coming across as trying to sound the expert, I'm obviously not AT ALL but as a few weeks ahead am trying to be reassuring. Pliz to be telling me if I am being a wanker.

FriendofDorothy · 11/06/2012 17:39

I pissed on about 15 sticks. I am quite proud of my collection.

I had no sickness, therefore I needed to check regularly to make sure I was actually still up the duff!

slaps bugs with a huge haddock.

Exercise is good for differs. I never did any but that is by the by, I am a lazy caah. Riding bike will not bother baybee. You don't need to take it extra easy just don't push yourself harder than what you are used to.

You will be imagining all sorts of womble rumblings for weeks to come. Remember most MCs are caused by genetic anomalies at the moment of conception, not by things you do or don't do in the first trimester (unless you are a heroin addict or whatever)
