Omg had the most stressful 3 hours! Angry Bloody car insurance nightmares (quoted £5000 to put my husband on my policy) and my 10 min journey home took 40 mins!!!!!! More car insurance crap to deal with when I got home. Angry Just been for a 45 min walk to calm down. And now I'm sat down and slowly starting to settle pip is going bloomin mental! So that's put a smile back on my face! Smile

4 more sleeps till we see pip again

babycarmen · 26/09/2011 20:27

Innocent Your bump sounds a lot like mine :) He/she is a little wriggler!! Can see my belly move when it kicks too, so cute. Its also all at the front, very neat and no weight anywhere else (apart from the bra area!!!)

Stressful day today and my head hurts everytime i bend over :( Dont know why.

21 weeks today!

Xavielli · 26/09/2011 20:48

Lovely bump innocent! Mine is just flab at the moment and I look like i'm carrying a full term baby in each arse cheek. I'm not one of these people who do pregnancy gracefully, I inflate like a bouncy castle. I also have 3 different sets of stretch marks on my run from each pregnancy, can't wait to see how this one leaves it's mark

20+5 - 2 sleeps til scan!!!

Xavielli · 26/09/2011 20:49

*tum not run- damn you auto correct!

woowa · 26/09/2011 21:26

my bump is out the front again, nice bump shape, my body is SOOmuch nicer pregnant!! I miss the bump when it's gone.

DD kept me up most of midnight -4am teething (i think) last night (but fortunately then slept til 8), and then didn't nap (teeth!), so am completely exhausted, and broke my record and fell asleep at 6.15pm!! I think if i'd been in bed rather than sofa, and if i hadn't locked DH out, i'd still be asleep. I need a BREAK! oh, and i can't have one... AH, love being a mummy most of the time but days like today make me want a few days off! HOW will i survive with 2!!

Mellie-that's steep!
Squiggles-dD wants to come but she's going to be at school so it's a nono.
Innocent-impressive for number one!
Woowa-Hope DD feels better soon and you get some sleep :)

I've put another pic of my bump on the profile, it grows loads week by week!

Being a bit stupid I'm sure, but where do I go to see all these bump pictures?

19 + 4, scan in three days. Can't wait!

Crazybit · 26/09/2011 22:26

Emz-Click on the name of the persons profile then on that persons photos. :)

QueenFee · 26/09/2011 22:58

Loving the bump pics!
I've popped a (terrible) pic on my profile in honour of being nearly 20 weeks. Have just stumbled accross a just about to pop pic from last pregnancy, very funny. It may be on my profile too!

Scan on wednesday whoohoo!

Off to bed now so tired still.

It's hammer time

actually does the mc hammer dance

Super awake.
Super getting internally booted
Bored

le sigh
my whole body clock is totally messed up Angry

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 27/09/2011 05:54

Kayano
My body clock is mental too! I have been awake since 5am even though I don't need to get up until 7.15. My flat is quite small & if I start pottering around my kids will wake up so I'm just laying here rubbing my bump, which is also fast asleep!

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 27/09/2011 06:01

Crazybit my 2 should be at school Wednesday but as my 8yr old dd has been telling my mum that I may not be able to fit 3 children in my heart & as she is the oldest it will be her that goes I am trying to include them as much as possible & as she wants to come to the scan I will bunk them off (naughty me!) so they can come. She is a bit of a drama queen & is comparing my love for them with hers for her build a bears & says when she gets a new one she doesn't love the old ones so much! Sad

madeindevon2 · 27/09/2011 09:22

is anyone suffering with headaches? I'm not dehydrated. Just niggling head aches...

madeindevon2 · 27/09/2011 09:22

Oops sry I'm 19+3

phlossie · 27/09/2011 09:38

I was, madeindevon, but they've stopped. Mine were tension headaches up the back of my neck, and I have added an extra pillow which seems to have helped. Just watch out for the pre-eclampsia symptoms, otherwise my midwife said that I should just take parecetemol.

This is very corny, squiglettsmummy, but it worked on my DCs - I told them that as the baby grows inside me, it grows its own love inside my heart, which keeps on growing. I said that I don't love it now as much as I love them, but I will when it arrives, but because it makes its own love, I won't love them any less!

Gah! Teething! That's the biggest design fault with babies! Teething is miserable. Big sympathy to you, woowa. I'm going to enjoy having older children this time rather than two little ones. It is mental, there's no two ways about it. But my two (19mnths apart) are very close now, which is lovely.

Kayano - I now have U Can't Touch This stuck in my head!

Stop. Hammer time.

phlossie · 27/09/2011 09:40

Oh and Xavielli - a baby in each arse cheek? I'm feeling that! That's exactly what I keep saying!

Crazybit · 27/09/2011 10:20

Squiglets-My dd is also a drama queen (aged 11) and I let her go to the 12 week one as OH was away, but he gets back this weekend just in time for scan and she's already had 2 days of ill this term so an reluctant to have her come.

Phlossie-That's a sweet idea, will do that :)

MadeinD-Yup, tension headaches I think. Last time I lived on co-codomol as they wouldn't go away :(

Kayano-I was rudely awaken at 4 am by dd, then couldn't get back to sleep. Crap isn't it.

Crazybit That is one hell of a bump!! Lovely though. Loving ALL of the bump pictures!

I know exactly what you all mean about body clocks. In the first trimester I was up throughout the night needing the loo. I had a brief respite of sleeping through and now I wake up at 3ish for a while and 5ish for about an hour too. And at 5 I am kept awake by baby wriggling! It's lovely though, just spend some time stroking them. I have to say DP is loving the bump as well, which is really sweet too.

Aww bless her Squigletts I don't know how to approach that really. I think what phlossie says would work. I have only got 2.5 DSD, so she doesn't grasp that yet. But she is being really good about it all. She comes up to me, lifts my top up and strokes my tummy going 'baby'. Then she will say either 'shhhh, baby sleeping' OR 'baby hiding!!' It is the sweetest cutest thing ever!

MadeinD I get the occasional headaches too, I just take paracetamol and get on with it, I don't know how bad yours are. I figure I have being getting mine when I sleep too much though.

I have serious bump envy now. I look like I have 2 bumps - 1 above my belly button and the other below Smile. Have put a lot of weight on my hips too so am also sporting an impressive muffin top.

I am sufferin from headaches too but down to not drinking enough I think.

It is DH's birthday today and he is off work so having a nice family day. Going to take DD to the park when she wakes up and then to the pub for tea.

Sorry you are still feeling rubbish lily, hope it improves for you soon.

Squiglettsmummy2bx · 27/09/2011 16:58

Phlossie I love that idea & will be trying it on dd tonight. We are all very excited about the scan tomorrow & my 6yr old ds is taking bets on squigletts gender Smile

InnocentRedhead · 27/09/2011 18:19

Ooo new emote Thanks just having a nosy on thread and saw this :)

InnocentRedhead · 27/09/2011 19:02

Stop. Hammer time.

:o

On a great note as well, I have 32 hours at work this week and 43 next week :o Happy happy girl here

Thanks
Kayano · 27/09/2011 19:21

Yet innocent, glad they got their act together.

Grin

I just need to get through tomorrow and then have a half day on Thursday for my scan Grin

I'm so excited. I'm going with my husband and mum. It's our first baby and her first grandchild.
Because I'm adopted my mum has never been to a scan and I think she will really like to see the baby. I think it'll be really special and I hope bump doesn't cross their legs!

woowa · 27/09/2011 20:10

Hooray! Saw my kidney doc today (a new one) and he said there's nothing really wrong, and to go away and only see my GP every year about my (inherited) kidney prob. As far as he's concerned I'm a LOW RISK pregnancy and i can just get on with life. The first sensible consultant i've seen!! Does this mean I can tell me OBS consultant she's mad and I don't need to see her any more??!!

Lots of wriggling today and also aching. Probably from picking apples on elderly neighbours trees. WARNING if you do the same, protect your nose from falling apples. OUCH.

Going to watch Downton now and do some baby knitting. Happy days!
