Morning, I've just read your thread about your cramps Pucca, I hope your scan goes ok today. I keep getting cramps too, but they make me feel I need the loo I rush there and nothing happens, I hope all is ok.

I saw my doctor last night, she was very sweet, said to contact them if I got nervous or worried cause of my past m/c, but if not, to try and wait till the 11/12 week scan. I'm not sure I'll last without and early scan, but I'll try.

Oh, Pucca I had an internal scan last time, and it was fine, didn't hurt at all. Good Luck!

See I've got a pg brain already, your scan's not till tomorrow is it Sorry. How are the cramps today though?

Pucca I also had an internal scan last week and was 6+3 and they can see the heartbeat not much of a view as its a wee blob but helpful none the less. It doesnt hurt, you are int e same position as a smear but it not uncomfortable like a smear other than legs a kimbo

Still feel sick today, better than yesterday this is totally different from last..i slept yesterday for 3 hours in the day, which helped me but the rest of my life was on hold thank god for my other half..m ds1 was fed x x

Hi all

Well morning (or should I say all day) sickness has reared it's ugly head I suppose it's a good sign but my god it makes you feel miserable.

Having said that, I think I'm combating it pretty well. The more I eat the better it is but the only problem is that I have no appetite so it's really hard to want to have anything.

I've just been in to the local bakers to get sandwich and they had some roast joints, the smell made me want to throw up! Had to grab my sandwich and run, lol.
Have also got my trusty sickness bands on which work a treat, slightly uncomfortable to wear but worth it.

Anyway I am officialy 7 weeks today so thats something to about!

Hello everyone! Sorry I didn't say hi, snowballstrike. Congratulations and fingers crossed for you.
Pucca, I had a scan last week at exactly 7 weeks, abdominal not vaginal. You could see a kind of pulsating blob in a black hole--didn't look like a baby at all!
Sounds like everyone is having lots of symptoms. I am more queasy than sick, but my BOOBS! they're SO sensitive. I can hardly bear to take my bra off at night in case some fabric from my pyjama top brushes against them. They also weigh a ton and I am sure I am at least 4 cup sizes bigger than I used to be.

Feel much better today, and still feeling very sick thankfully (never thought i would say that! lol)I actually thought of ringing the GP this morning and saying i feel much better and to cancel the scan, but i think its best if i still go...what do you think?

Hope everyone is ok? and getting lots of yukky symptoms

NBG...Yes they have totally eased off and have had no bleeding (feels like i have been checking every 5 min). I think if i was a bit futher along i would have definately cancelled and waited for the 12 weeks scan, but it is 5/6 weeks away and dont think my brain could cope with the waiting for that long, but then i feel a bit of a fraud now because the cramps have gone and dont want to waste anyones time iykwim.

It's gorgeous!

I really need trousers though. Can't do the top buttons up now!

I went into asda last week to see what maternity clothes they had, couldnt find them so asked a member of staff and she said they have stopped selling maternty asda was good when i was pg with dd, cheap and nice stuff...couldnt believe it!

Mothercare have a but one get one half price thing on maternity atm, i got some yoga type black trousers and a l-sleeved top and was £20 for both.So might be worth having a look there NBG.

Yeah I could deffo wear it now. It's sort of mo-hair material, brown with a scoop neck and has a little tie which will go under the bump. I'll need to wear a camisole under it though.

Just had it on, looks nice. I got it for £6 as it was reduced and then used a £10 off e-voucher

Can't believe Asda! I was going to have a look there too. I picked those Yoga pants up on sunday Pucca but dh was starting to sigh in the middle of the shop so I put them back.

I tried some nice jeans on in Dot Perks but they seemed to be big sizes as the 10 was too big for me

Will check out Next and H&M too.

I bought my stuff in Hennes last time, they were cheap and cheerful for jeans, combats etc. Marks & Sparks for smarter stuff and nice big pants

How is everyone today? Sick, sore boobs, tired, peeing too much?

Have had to get up early today due to feeling sick. Although it's very strange because when I get up I'm ok, the minute I lie down I feel awful.
I've heard of your body preparing you for early starts but I think at 7 weeks it's a bit much!

Pucca, good luck for your scan today. Thinking of you.

Regarding the week thing, I think I am 6 weeks and 1 day so that is in to your 7th week iyswim. Whatever you do don't try out different due date calendars on the net cos you'll end up with different answers like me.
It totally blew my brains out.
If I log on to baby centre it clearly says I'm 7 weeks pg not 6 and 1 day however I've decided that I'll just let the midwife sort it out. She'll tell me.

The other thing is when I had dd they worked out a date from the exact day of my last af, gave me a date but then when I went for the dating scan it gave me a date of 4 days earlier.
Just to note though, she came on the original date

Pucca - GOOD LUCK!! I am sure it will be fine.

NBGS - Glad to hear you are feeling rough. I went onto baby centre out of interest and it said I was week seven, due on Aug 14th, but I know that I am due on Aug 17th because I know when I ovulated and I shall insist that date is used because that extra three days might be crucial when the time comes.

I'm only feeling mildly queasy on odd occasions during the day but I have the complexion of a 15 year old, which is probably a good sign (except with a few wrinkles in between the spots). No painful boobs though an no tiredness.

I hope everyone else is feeling rough too.

Good Morning - I have been up since 6AM feeling sick - I am one of those people who struggles to get up in the morning so 6AM is sooo early for me. I was in work nice and early with no rushing through the traffic.

Got my scan at 12.00 today.

My feeling sick is just me retching and coughing and by boobs are so sore and heavy.
