For those of you who are feeling sicky - is it just normal nausea or does it feel like a different sort of starving hungry/stomach ache/sickiness?

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 19/12/2005 11:42

No it's nausea for me. Although with dd certain smells would make it worse like dog food.
I've fed the dog today and it hasn't made a difference.

rockmum · 19/12/2005 13:03

Hi girls,

I'm really sad to let you know that I've had the same experience as Kitegirl (similar) and I will be leaving you as well.
Never mind, and I hope you all have wonderful pregnancies and lovely babies.
Hopefully myself and Kitegirl will be in some other thread a couple of months down the line!
Best

So sorry there are people leaving, I had a m/c in May and I know how devastating it can be, but you'll all be back here soon!

Got a doctors appointment tonight, feel a bit squify on and off and have a headache, all of which I'm pleased about. According to Fetility Friend I'm 4 weeks+4 and due on Aug 26th. Fingers very tightly crossed.

Congratulations and welcome

Hope your appt goes well!

Arabica · 19/12/2005 17:36

Rockmum and Kitegirl, so sad for both of you. I have been there myself, last February, and found great comfort and support from posting here in the miscarriage section--sadly there are so many of us who've survived miscarriages. Kitegirl, am pleased that you are in a place you love (I love the sea, too).
Pucca, I'm not sure what happened on the other thread but please keep posting here! This club's all about support, not judgment.

Arabica · 19/12/2005 17:40

Which thread was it you meant, Pucca? Just curious.

pucca · 19/12/2005 17:41

Rockmum and Kitegirl...so very sorry to hear this

I will keep posting here, i had a wobbily moment last night but mumsnet has redeemed itself today by everyone being so kind about the severe cramps i have been getting.

I have a early scan booked for Weds 8.50am so fingers crossed all is ok.

xx

pucca · 19/12/2005 17:42

Arabica...it was in conception i think...something like "my AF is due today but hasnt come."

It was just me being very hormonal

pucca · 19/12/2005 21:38

Anyone any advice on internal scans?

Will they be able to get a heartbeat at 6+ 5? Getting a little worried now

Also does it hurt ?

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 19/12/2005 21:40

Have they said it will be an internal scan Pucca?

I haven't had one but know people who have and said it isn't painful.

pucca · 19/12/2005 21:43

NBG...yes the GP said it will be a vaginal scan, you are like my angel atm lol, always there

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 19/12/2005 21:47

You sayin I'm sad???

Ey ey ey???

Yeah I have heard it isn't painful and tbh they have also said they couldn't give 2 flying expletives as they just wanted to know what was going on.

pucca · 19/12/2005 21:51

NBG...Nooooo not sad, just kind enough to always reply

I am feeling so much better now, this afternoon feels like a dream, unbelivable pain, it was awful i didnt "think" it would be a m/c i was wanting for the bleeding thats how bad it was.

I am feeling very queasy again and boobs are killing still so that can only be a good sign eh?

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 19/12/2005 21:54

Yeah deffo good sign

Morning sickness has most certainly kicked in today and I have lost my appetite completly

It's a small price to pay though, all good signs.

Am off to bed now but will be back tomorrow after dd's xmas playgroup party!

pucca · 19/12/2005 21:55

Ok, hope party goes well

Thanks NBG

Night xx

pucca · 19/12/2005 21:56

Oh and...try to eat as no food makes you feel more sick

trix1 · 20/12/2005 07:50

Kitegirl and Rockmum - very sorry, I hope you both are back on one of these threads in a few months - good luck to both of you.

Pucca - take no notice of that other thread, to be honest I thought it was directed at me too. I was a regular on those sites for a year now but I found it too upsetting to go on every day!

I am having an early scan tomorrow but Im worried there wont be a heartbeat yet as I will only be 5 weeks 5 days.

Have a good day all.

rubles · 20/12/2005 09:03

Well, I am feeling relieved that I am getting some mild nausea now. Yay, I can feel more hopeful.

Pucca - I am going to read your other thread about your cramps as I had no idea about it yesterday.
I remember reading that they will be able to see a heartbeat after 7 weeks, (but maybe that was for external scanning tho'). The fact that you are still having strong pregnancy symptoms seems a very positive sigh to me. How are you today?

Trix - are they scanning you internally or externally? Be prepared to not see any heartbeat at this early stage and for everything to still be fine. I was scanned last time at 6 weeks after bleeding, and there wasn't a heartbeat but the sonographer said it was the right size for 6 weeks and to come back in a weeks time to check it had grown more, and when I went back there was a heartbeat.

rubles · 20/12/2005 09:04

Oh, congratulations and welcome to Snowballstrike!

FirstSaintNikkilass · 20/12/2005 09:22
