Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
mumsXMASwish · 12/12/2005 11:59

they didnt give me exact numbers and to be honest I was so WHAT?!?!?! that I forgot to ask. All he said was that they were nearly treble what they'd expect at this time. which is really freaky! guess I'll know more tomorrow!

I'm soooo excited for you MXW

What time is your appt?

trix1 · 12/12/2005 12:19

Good morning everyone, you have been busy chatting this morning. I am work and my mind keeps wandering off to the fact that I am pregnant, i keep looking at the calender for 2006. Im strange - I know.

I told HR as I will be having regular appts with my consultant in light of the previous m/c's. I am having a scan on the 21st I wont even be be six weeks until the 23rd - it will probably be too early to see anything.

Apart from really sore and bigger boobs I have no symptons at all, I am eating loads but thats nothing new - i have gone from 8.5stone to nearly 9 since I found out I was pregnant on Thursday - I had better be careful, so just ate fruit so far today.

Am i the latest due date in August so far - due the 19th.

Better do some work before I get caught.

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 12/12/2005 12:21

You might have the latest due date but it doesn't mean you'll be last

trix1 · 12/12/2005 12:29

True - I jsut hope that the pregnancy lasts until I have a healthy baby in my arms

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 12/12/2005 12:30

I have all my fingers and toes crossed for you. Try to stay positive

PickasillyChristmasName · 12/12/2005 12:32

Congratulations Arabica

(from a lurking September 05 Mummy)

trix1 · 12/12/2005 12:42

Thanks NewBeth - I will do my best to. are you at work today too?

NewBethlehemGirlwithsparkles · 12/12/2005 12:54

No.

I only have a sessional job, taking kids in secure units etc to court and the likes. The company and dh who works with me has said not to do too much or only work with the kids we know in case one of them kicks off and I get hurt.

mumsXMASwish · 12/12/2005 13:03

My app is at 8.45.

NBG - That sounds like a really interesting job.

Trix - I'm sure it will all end well. With that amount of care I dont see why it cant

Trix, I really hope everything turns out OK. I spoke to a friend yesterday who will be having a July 06 baby and she said that at 5 weeks she had a horrible pain and went to see docs, she didn't know she was preg and the dr told her to go for a scan right away to see if there was anything wrong, she says that you can still see the little beanie, she said it looks like a giant sperm!! hahaha. She's OK now and excited...

Mxw, I can't wait to hear all about your scan tomorrow!!! You will probably be able to buy a little photo as well.

I am having a terrible headache now, any of you had any bad headaches so far?

mumsXMASwish · 12/12/2005 14:59

lickle sperm.... hmmmmm interesting picture in my head now! lol

Thanks for your words of support all.

NBG your job does sound interesting - better than sitting at a desk all day.

jinglediddle · 12/12/2005 16:46

rockmum - i had headaches a lot during early pregnancy, i was todl to drinkplenty of fluids, water mainly, it makes a big difference, makes you need the loo a lot though

pucca · 12/12/2005 16:46

Hi everyone

Mums....Cant wait to hear if you are having twins!!! I would be SO excited!

Hope everyone else is ok.

I am still feeling queasy, god help me when i hit 6 weeks and the hormone level goes up and i know it isnt possible to be the babu, but i swear i look about 4-5 months pregnant lol, SOOOO bloated its untrue, in maternity pants already.

pucca · 12/12/2005 16:47

Meant baby lol

Arabica · 12/12/2005 16:48

Hi everyone. Still feeling sick off and on, still with huge boobs--in fact feel huge all over! I've got my first scan on Weds morning, when I will be 7 wks. I had an early scan when pregnant with DS, because I had had some bleeding, and he was flinging himself around like a hyperactive 4 year-old in a bouncy castle. Looked more like a baked bean than a sperm though. I'm really anxious about it but trying to keep busy so I don't have to think too much.

partypooka · 12/12/2005 17:47

Sorry to barge in, but wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS from the Sept 05 crowd to Arabica(I'm pooka). All the best for a stress-free and happy pregnancy.

Arabica · 12/12/2005 18:10

Hey thanks pooka, that's really kind of you. Feeling pretty ghastly--must be a good sign!

Arabica · 12/12/2005 18:12

And thanks Pickasilly too! So sweet that you remember me from what seems like ages and ages ago. Hope you're having fun with your babies. 3 months is such a lovely smiley cuddly age.

Good luck with the Docs S. Where abouts it's St Georges? I will be going to the Queen Elizabeth.

Arabica, I hope you feel better today!

Has anybody spoken to their midwife about antenatal classes, I know the NTC offer some but they cost about £100 a course but the NHS offer some free ones, just not sure where or when... Will have to ask the midwife. take care

mumsXMASwish · 13/12/2005 10:37

Morning ladies,

Scan went great but I'm gonna have to leave you as I'm around the 9 week mark, very confused as to how thats happened but releived that there is no twins. (well kinda) They've given me a provisional due date of 13th July but they say it could change yet. I'm very happy cos it means I'm closer to the relaxing 12wk mark.

Baby didnt move much, moved its hand a little bit but that was it. They spent ages looking it over and I dont get a 12 wk scan now cos they've done all they're going to. Although I managed to persuade them to give me one around 14 wks cos I'm so paranoid.

Anway enough

How is everyone feeling?

rockmum · 13/12/2005 10:43

OMG, that's great news!! I'm so happy for you.
Now you'll be joining the July 06 mums! Oh well, come and say hello every now and then.

It's amazing how you didn't get much sickness then as you are already on week 9!

Did you get a little photo?

Take care!

mumsXMASwish · 13/12/2005 10:46

Was going to get one but because they couldnt get a proper look at the bean they suggested getting a pic when we go again for the 14 wk mark. So that what we're gonna. Thanks for all advice and help and dont worry I'll keep an eye on you all!
