Can't wait to see a gallery of bump photos! I'll have to eat some pies quick and give my bump a boost so it will be more impressive! (isn't there a chocolate bar called a Boost? I'll give it one of those too!)
awch a train driver eh? so you and kri5ty are in cahoots? you can't trust anyone these days.
(I'd like to be "in cahoots", it sounds like fun.)

DarciesmumandBump2 · 09/08/2011 13:40

LOL @ Stalking MNers.

I'll sort my pics out when I get home which won't be long. You can see that I'm not a trucker with a fetish for pregnant women Grin

OiMissus · 09/08/2011 13:45

can you get cages from mamas and papas?

DarciesmumandBump2 · 09/08/2011 13:49

Kinda sorted my profile just need to add piccys.

BeeMyBaby · 09/08/2011 13:52

um not sure about national service for rioters - I wouldn't want to equip them with fire arms, nor give them any kind of combat training!

msbuggy i loved the picture with your DC in the cage - so cute!

sevensevenseven · 09/08/2011 14:31

Decided to change my talkname after seeing an advert for a tv show about seven dwarves!

You all look gorgeous in your pics, makes me not want to put mine on here! Anyway I've set up a profile and will put a couple of pics on tonight if I get time after doing my tesco order and looking at slings.

msbuggywinkle · 09/08/2011 14:39

The cage is from Eglu...would probably only fit up to an average sized 18mth old, my DDs are tiny for their ages. Grin

AWCH No, they are very easy, five minutes morning and evening and 10 minutes once a week to clean them out. Then several hours drinking tea with a chicken on my knee to cuddle, they are surprisingly cuddly animals!

KateM77 · 09/08/2011 16:35

Early finish for me today. Nursery called mid-afternoon for me to collect DD. Local authority advising parents to collect kids early in case anything kicks off. All quiet so far, lets hope it stays that way

mopsytop · 09/08/2011 16:38

Hope it stays that way for you Kate good luck!

OiMissus · 09/08/2011 16:42

Fingers crossed that we don't see a repeat of the last few nights. It sounds like communities are showing real spirit in cleaning up the areas, and large amounts of people are turning out to help out. At last, something to be proud of!
Some London Councils are taking collections of clothes/toys etc for those who have had their homes destroyed. Going to look on line and see if there's anything that us Northerners can do to support the communities hit.

Awomancalledhorse · 09/08/2011 16:52

Awwww, msbuggy, they sound lovely, we've got no outside space so would have to wait until we move to get some, so we'll miss out on caging the child for at least the first 2 years.
Envy

Kate, hope you get DD home without an issue.

DH says nowt but precautions are taking place atm in SE London...spent the day just going around to local businesses/homes & taking criminal damage reports!

LittleMissFlustered · 09/08/2011 17:21

Hoping all of you in the ranty areas are safe.

My profile has no pics on it, but I am paranoid about being outed:( My situation is a bit complicated. I can put some random pics of my fabulous collection of cats up if it makes you all feel any better? They're lovely moggies:)

KateM77 · 09/08/2011 17:36

Thanks everyone. I was home safely when I posted earlier. Can hear helicopters and sirens now, but still all quiet in the immediate vicinity

LittleMissFlustered · 09/08/2011 17:53

There be cats now. Well two of them. I can't find a pic of the last one. He's the same colour though. Interchangeable moggiesWink

sevensevenseven · 09/08/2011 21:42

For anyone that has a tesco clubcard - we've just discovered that if you go to the clubcard website, then click on my clubcard account, then your vouchers it gives you the online codes of any unused vouchers. We had £15 of old vouchers due to expire in November that we didn't know about. Added to our new vouchers I've just ordered the crib from tesco direct and saved £32!

Awomancalledhorse · 09/08/2011 21:44

Yay sevensevenseven, and I had no idea...will have a gander on there later.

TMI WARNING;
My underboob area is really, really sweaty. I could water all the plants in the house with the sweat I've wiped off today.

DH thinks he'll be coming home soon!

sevensevenseven · 09/08/2011 23:10

AWCH :o

LittleMissFlustered · 09/08/2011 23:13

It will not let me check my clubcard balance! Chuff!

Anyone else been suffering with back/hip pain? Just coming out of the other side of a week and a half of agony. It has played havoc with my system, as the midwife told me to take co-codamol for five days to obliterate it. It worked but, and I apologise for the TMI, it has caused epic constipation Blush as well as some nasty headaches when I stopped taking it. Got to love codeine

Awomancalledhorse · 09/08/2011 23:15

He's home and he has just put the kettle on. Good Husband. Grin

LittleMiss, I have backpain too, have been taking daily baths/short walks to help & it's improving.

NoobytheWaspSlayer · 10/08/2011 07:20

Morning Ladies! Can I join the big bum club too? Grin. Big bum, Big boobs, Big Bump..... I would be miserable about it but I have lovely toned arms from all the pilates, so I'm choosing just to look at them...!

I'm just SO HUNGRY all the time. All.the.time. I could quite easily eat from dawn 'til dusk, but am trying my best to reigh it in.

Today is DS2s 2nd birthday 'Eeo is DOOO! Eeo is DOOO!' (Leo is two!) He is so so adorable, we are really blessed. Look forward to those boys everyone - they do love their Mummies!

LittleMissFlustered With DS2 I had bad hip and back pain. What helped me was pilates (lots of) and a massive body pillow, so I slept with my knees apart. As for the other thing, loads and loads of water and enough fruit to feed a zoo. The 10 minute solutions pilates for pregnancy DVD is good.

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 07:45

Morning all,
I know what you're saying nooby the lower regions are scarily depressing, I too am taking delight in my (still slimish) arms, my super long nails and fabulous boobs. Eeo sounds like a bundle of fun. :)
As for constipation, I was suffering and fruit, brown bread, cabbage and water weren't really getting to the heart of the problem - but then, I made a huge quite spicy chilli for a party and that sorted me out completely! Thoroughly recommended!!
I'm still going to bodypump - there last night, back again tonight - and I think that's strengthening me up against back and hip problems for the minute. Aquanatal is good too.
awch glad hubby came back home safely. It was only a matter of time before the scrotes in other areas saw the delights of looting and fancied some for themselves. Manchester hangs its head in shame.

DarciesmumandBump2 · 10/08/2011 07:48

Seven didn't know that about clubcard vouchers thanks :)

AWCH good to see you DH came home safe.

LMF I have a back and hip condition anyway. I recommend co-codamol, pillow between your knees and under your bump at night. Lots of fibre in your diet to help with your constipation.

Nooby Happy Birthday to your DS, hope he has a good day.

Got my scan at 11:30 today really excited. DP still hasn't let his guard down about us finding out the sex Grin

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 07:53

Well i didn't sleep last night from the noise of helicopters and sirens in manchester :( we do not live near it, but work right in the centre where it all happened, and i'm very worried about OH tonight, as he will have to walk for 10 mins through the area to get to his car at 9pm :(

awch i am glad he got home safely :o

anyway enough of that horrible stuff...

oimissus you will put us all to shame on saturday!! I would love to have slim arms.. but i guess thats what body pump does for you!! I will def start after the baby!!

LittleMissFlustered keep an eye on it, incase it may be spd, i have a referal for this as i am in agony with it too, and i agree, keeping a pillow between your knees really helps in bed!

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 07:53

good luck darcies :o

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 08:01

darcies Best of luck for the scan! You may see the sex by accident. And if not, it's our Christmas surprise.
kri5ty I'm scared that when the baby arrives I'll have to give up the gym. For the first 6 weeks you're not supposed to do anything, maybe after that whilst I'm on maternity leave I can let daddy take over - if he gets home from work in time for the evening classes, but once I go back to work there'll be no chance. The 6 o'clock gym timetable will get in the way of those few precious hours with the baby. :( And then I'll get fat.
