Welcome to the new thread ladies!

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
kri5ty · 09/08/2011 11:38

never mind the army... we need the A team :o

On a more serious note though i agree, all the brave men and women fighting to help make other countires a better place, and the people that live in our own want to destroy it! Surely they realise they will be the ones paying for the damage they have done!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 09/08/2011 11:54

kri5ty I agree they should pay for the damage done. As there are no prision places they should be sent to Afghan and made to be in the army for a good few years.

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 12:01

They should def bring back national service, even if its just for 2, and teach everyone some respect!

In Norway you have to serve for 2 years, my family say its an excellent and it works, not many of them get deployed to war zones, but mainly training exercises etc and help out in their own country

msbuggywinkle · 09/08/2011 12:26

I met DP at a Christmas party when I was 15. We got together 6 months later after becoming really close friends, got together at a friend's 17th birthday party. Moved in together when I was 18 and had DD1 when I was 21.

Been together for 11 years now!

DarciesmumandBump2 · 09/08/2011 12:28

I would love to know where these rioting kids parents are? prob rioting along with them no doubt!

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 12:30

awww i really do love hearing peoples stories like that :)

Dan and i got togetehr very quickly (after i realised he wasn't gay lol) we were both seeing people at the time we met, and started going out as friends, even though we both knew how we felt...

It took us about 2 months to get togetehr properly though after we split up from our partners... we were like 2 school children "what if he/she doesn't like me" and our mutual work friends had to keep setting us up, and creating times for us to be together... once we did get togetehr everyting moved pretty quickly and we moved in with each other within 3 months... i guess you know when its the right person :o

We have been togetehr 2 and a half years now, been travelling together, and decided on trying for a baby... if we didnt get pregnant in 5 months, we were going to stop trying and get married instead (vegas baby) ... but literally FIRST time we got pregnant :)

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 12:31

haha feel free to ignore that post.. im bored in work, didnt mean to give my life story!

OiMissus · 09/08/2011 12:33

I was going to try and lighten things up by directing you all to a lovely image of a man in a kilt - but when I tried to look for one, I realised that I might inadvertantly direct you to a gay porn site or something!
National Service, water cannons and community service it is then!

OiMissus · 09/08/2011 12:45

I spent so long writing my last post that the conversation changed anyway! :)
I spent 6 months trying to convince Stuart that he really did want a relationship (he was dedicated to the idea of being alone for the rest of his life - very odd!). When he realised that I was serious about him and not going to give up, he finally dropped his guard, began to trust me and things moved quickly from then on. We got married in November last year, and got pregnant within 4 months. :) I'll post a wedding pic in my profile.

plupervert · 09/08/2011 12:47

That's a lovely photo, OiMissus. Nice body language, as well; you look comfy together... Smile

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 12:53

OiMissus · 09/08/2011 13:05

DarciesmumandBump2 · 09/08/2011 13:10

Oimissus Lovely photo :)

Awomancalledhorse · 09/08/2011 13:11

Awwww, loving the love-fest on this thread atm Grin
kri5ty, it's so lovely when you just 'know', and an extra congrats for getting pregnant so quickly (can't work out if I'm congratulating you or Dan!) msbuggy, another lovely love story!!

OiMissus, what a gorgeous bouquet you had! You & husband aren't too bad either... Grin like plupervert says, you look so comfy together.

plupervert · 09/08/2011 13:14

Oh, I didn't see the wedding photo, just the cuddle!

OiMissus · 09/08/2011 13:15

The first pic was taken by the photographer who we'd booked for the wedding when we met at the venue. The others are obviously on the big day itself.
I am now stalking you lot... kri5ty - you really are tiny, aren't you? (I mean in a lovely petite slim way!) and you and dan look good together... msbuggy obviously has very talented, cultured and lovely children, and the rest of you are probably truckers with a fetish for pregnant ladies (copied from another thread) as you are keeping your pictures private! Grin

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 13:16

awch thanks haha.. i like to think my super eggs had something to do with it :o of course Dan walked around with a very big strut for a while, and gave himself the nickname "super sperm"Hmm hehe

hehe plupervert get looking now haha i love mumsnet stalking people! lol

figgygal · 09/08/2011 13:17

I am going to do my profile tonight hadnt realised there was so much information we could add and will look up some flattering (pre pregnancy) pics too. Good idea ladies!!

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 13:18

truckers with a fetish for pregnant ladies at least we know we aren't missus hehe i'm not that tiny any more lol i am embracing being pregnant :o

Yes msbuggys children looks lurvley!!

msbuggywinkle · 09/08/2011 13:22

I can confirm the loveliness of my DDs! Talented, erm...not sure you'd be saying that if you could actually hear DD1 on the violin! DD2 just thinks she is a chicken.

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 13:25

msbuggy i played the violin when i was younger.. and when i first started my mum used to make me practice at the bottom of the garden, until i got good at it lol

Awomancalledhorse · 09/08/2011 13:27

Ooooh, Kri5ty, your lemon sucking, super sperm strutting OH and your gorgeous kitty are all lovely.

OiMissus, I resent that comment! I am a train driver with a fetish for pregnant ladies I'll have you know!!

I'll put up some piccies once DH gets home and shows me how to convert from photoshop to something I can use. OOOH we can compare bumps (talking as a train driver with a massive beer gut, I'll have the biggest and the best of course)!

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 13:30

ooo i didnt think of bump photos!!

haha thanks awch :o he is a little crazy.. (im not too sure what he is doing), but that is why i fell for him haha

kri5ty · 09/08/2011 13:31

Awomancalledhorse · 09/08/2011 13:37

DH has just text me, first shift he's ever had where people aren't complaining about the police!! Shock

Enjoy your tuna melt Kri5ty (my grammar woz poor in last post, hope it came across that I was saying You were gorgeous too...not just OH & cat)!

msbuggy, you have lovely children!! So glad you keep them in a cage, least I know I won't be the only one Grin
