Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I think I just felt a kick or two!!!! It was right at the top of the bump - on the right, so that can't have been my rice krispies! Hurrah hurrah!

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 08:10

yayyyyyyyyyyy :o kick little dude kick!!

oimissus i will have to go back to work part time, as we both work shifts, i can't see any childminder being prepared to look after him from 5 am, to 8 or 9 pm... and different times each week :( to be honest i probs won't be able to make the gym either, but british military fitness near me have a class on every night, so hopefully i will be able to go to them depending on Dans shifts!

msbuggywinkle · 10/08/2011 08:21

OiMissus Yay kicks!

I'd love to be able to go to swimming on my own! When we go, DP gets the DDs ready before and dressed after so I get about 20mins of proper swimming in but I used to go for an hour about 4/5 times a week and do miss it. Still, the DDs will only be small for so long. I rely on exercise DVDs these days, usually manage about twice a week.

Awful nights sleep last night, quite a lot going on here but mainly I kept getting woken up by nightmares. One where we went to the supermarket but there were no Capri-Suns left because they'd all been looted (wtf? I don't even usually buy them!) and one where I had this baby very prematurely in a bathroom at a hotel!

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 08:25

mmmm capri suns i lurve them!!

:( for the nightmares

I went to the dentist yesterday, and he has told me that i have started clenching my jaw and grinding my teeth and night, and said it is a sign if stress / anxiety... i wish i knew what i was stressed about though Hmm

DarciesmumandBump2 · 10/08/2011 08:59

Thanks Kri5ty

mopsytop · 10/08/2011 09:17

kri5ty you are prob just stressed about the baby. I've been having all sorts of nightmares about mine showing my subconscious stress.

Re: exercise apparently pushing a heavy pram while walking is just the thing to keep you fit - my sister lost a whole dress size without changing her diet at all just pushing her littles around. So I guess the key is to ditch the car keys and walk everywhere. That's my plan. Very hilly where I am from so that will help I am sure!

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 09:19

Hmmm... Exercise dvd's - these may have to go on my Christmas list.
And lots of pram pushing through the snow - that will keep us fit!

And I've not had any weird dreams for a couple of nights now. My dreams have been very interesting lately - and quite a few colourful ones!

mopsytop · 10/08/2011 09:24

Haha Oi me too! I should be ashamed of my subconscious sometimes :)

DarciesmumandBump2 · 10/08/2011 09:26

I love Capri-suns so does DD Grin

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 09:29

I have been stalking you all figgy i loveeee your pics lol

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 09:30

mopsy I just wish I had the energy and inclination when awake!

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 09:30

Colourful dreams... i wish i could remember mine now!!

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 09:35

Thanks for the stalking reminder! Love the hat, the cat and the skunk figgy.

msbuggywinkle · 10/08/2011 09:37

Snowy walks are no good for me...I'm housebound in the ice because I have balance problems (related to my hearing impairment) and fall over often enough without the sodding ice.

I have a totally idealistic picture in my head of snow outside, the woodburner on and me on the sofa in my PJs cuddling DD3. Reality is probably going to be more, me on the sofa in PJs I haven't changed for 2 days wondering how on earth to entertain the older two when they get bored of playing in the snow and watching DVDs!

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 09:46

msbuggy i feel for you, i have balance problems too, and always black out, it doesn't make it fun on ice!

hmm maybe you could build a sleigh and have the older 2 pull you and DD3 around? They can pretend they are huskies :o

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 09:58

Good husky plan!
The idyllic picture of woodburner and pjs sounds good. However, are any of you finding that you're clumsier than usual? I used to be quite adept at eating my dinner from my lap (it's a fairly simple exercise that I have always taken for granted!), but now god forbid we have gravy or a sauce, because it always ends up all down my front!
So my pjs would be a filthy mess, and not the cosy, fluffy, warm pjs in my image.

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 10:01

Yes i thought it was just me!! i keep dropping food on to my belly!

mopsytop · 10/08/2011 10:08

This is really making me chuckle - I keep dropping food down my cleavage! It was never big enough before. Always finding crumbs in my bra when I undress before bed. SOPHISTICATED!

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 10:14

A midnight snack eh Mopsy Wink

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 10:41

I know! They can be itchy at the best of times, but with added crumbage... I'm forever emptying out my comfy cotton boulder-holders and giving everything a shake. The height of sophistication!

mopsytop · 10/08/2011 10:42

Feel seriously nauseous this morning. Morning sickness doesn't come back after it stops does it? Mine stopped week 12/13 but this feels the exact same. Argh! It better not me. Just when my migraines and headaches have calmed down and I am beginning to feel normal again (have managed to exercise 3 days in a row, which is SO GREAT). Do you think it's just a random blip?

OiMissus · 10/08/2011 10:48

Hope so mopsy - my nausea stopped to plan at weeks 12/13 too.
Martin's money saving expert says there's a discount voucher for 15% off mothercare, non-sale, if anyone's interested. www.moneysavingexpert.com/deals/discount-voucher-codes
By the way, it does pay to be cheeky. When I ordered the nursery furniture from Mamas and papas, i asked for an extra 5% off and free delivery, and they agreed very easily. It was already 30% off in the sale. I now wish I'd been cheekier!

Awomancalledhorse · 10/08/2011 10:48

OiMissus, yay kicks! And yay your taste in breakfast cereal, rice krispies are underrated!

Just got back from our 20wk scan, didn't find out the sex BUT as the sonographer was doing that crazy Dr Who style going down through the baby (showing the kidneys, stomach etc) it looked like there was a feckin huge nut sack & little penis...does that sound like it was boy bits?

Aside from that it was having it a little party (at 9.30am, the dosser!) so we didn't get any decent looks at the face.

mopsy, I have off nauseous days still!

mopsytop · 10/08/2011 10:53

AWCH Very glad scan went ok - are you going to have to go back to see the face? Mine was being very recalcitrant too and wouldn't turn over for ages!

I couldn't see anything on ours, its legs were tight shut and the umbilical cord was between them too so everything was well hidden. No sign of a ball sack though but it may well just have been hidden, so I am not going to make any assumptions in case I get a fixed idea in my head it's one thing and it turns out to be another.

I love rice krispies too but they just don't fill me up. At the moment I am eating mashed banana on toast for brekkie - yuuuuum !!

kri5ty · 10/08/2011 10:58

awch ours was very obviously a boy... like you say massive balls and a willy in between, i gues if it looks like that then it must be??

Although i haven't seen a girls bits on screen... google baby girl ultrasound and compare? lol
