Littler One (DD was Little One) Smile

lilyrose123 · 05/07/2011 20:01

Phlossie what work do you do that means you work in a hydro pool ??

lilyrose123 · 05/07/2011 20:04

Sorry phlossie couldn't see your reply on my I phone lol
Yeah those are my initials hello fellow Waterbabies instructor!
Do I know you then?

lilyrose123 · 05/07/2011 20:22

Is it RC phlossie?

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 05/07/2011 21:02

So sorry, puzzle and willitbe

miamamma, opticrom eyedrops and steroid nasal sprays (beconase - twice per day or flixonase - once per day) are absolutely fine in pregnancy and can be bought over the counter. They won't give you immediate relief the way an antihistamine will, and won't work if you just take them occasionally, but if you take them regularly they will help. Heck of a kit better than nothing, anyway!

PDog · 05/07/2011 21:23

Phlossie and lilyrose can I be cheeky and ask if I can pm you? Been to water babies today with DD - we both love it and I'm seriously thinking about a career change after I've had this bub. I have some questins though so if you wouldn't mind, I would be very grateful.

Crazybit · 05/07/2011 21:45

We have no name for baby bean as yet.

Have a look here at the 12 week video, you can see the baby moving around, it's fascinating.

foxylady1 · 05/07/2011 22:03

Hi everyone Baby #2 for me due 22 Feb.

Feeling very bloated, constipated, tired and sore boobs.
No sickness yet but was terrible with DD!

melliebobs · 05/07/2011 22:13

pdog what's the sprout app? Most importantly is it free?! :o I have the babycentre one which is pretty good and what to expect when your expecting which isn't so good! I like them. Every morning i get to check something new. It's like advent!

phlossie · 05/07/2011 22:17

Yes PDog by all means.

And yes, lilyrose you've got me! How funny!!!! I'll Facebook you xx

I'm sick, bloated and knackered, but just went to see Bridesmaids - it'll hilarious - so now I'm buzzing!

We haven't named the bump yet. DC1 was Junior and DC2 was Jeff (long story), I think we're just not quite believing it yet.

My DH is sweeping the maggots that crawled out of our food bin in the rain off the pavement at the moment. If there's anything that's going to make you heave...

louby86 · 05/07/2011 22:30

Ooo I got the sprout app too, it's brilliant to see the 3D pictures, can't remember if I paid for it though

TheWicketKeeperIsDown · 05/07/2011 22:39

I think you do have to pay for Sprout, but it's very good.

DD was Ace prenatally (long story) and has been Boo since she came out. So DH has christened the not-a-bump-just-increasing-lard Boo Two, which I quite like.

lilyrose123 · 06/07/2011 06:47

Sugar80 · 06/07/2011 07:09

Hi, can I hop on please? I'm due 26th Feb with my first, and I feel siiiiiick!! Didn't have anything at all until Monday, when I felt a bit queasy around 11am. Yesterday it kicked in around 9am, and today it's there as soon as I work up :( Currently stuffing toast and marmite down me which seems to be working... for now!

hermionejgranger · 06/07/2011 07:16

hi sugar I'm similar with the sickiness - I'm generally nauseous the whole day but fortunately I'm not actually being sick. It's exhausting enough with just the nausea.

Fee, Wicket and Phlossie ours is Bert. DH saw 4 magpies the day after we found out so he's convinced it's going to a be a boy. Hmm

withoutanet · 06/07/2011 07:35

We're calling our bump The Creature...as in "Honey, The Creature really wants homemade peach ice cream for dinner." Or, "Sweetie, The Creature likes this colour green for the nursery."

louby86 · 06/07/2011 07:40

Ours is 'baby b' after our surname!

I've been up since 6 trying to get ready for work but after being sick 13, yes 13! times I've given in and rang in sick! Got an appointment at the doctors today to see if there's anything I can do!

Hope I'm carrying the sickness for most of you and you're not feeling too bad!

melliebobs · 06/07/2011 07:57

Lol at the creature!

We've restrained ourselves so far. Only looked at baby clothes in the new Very catalogue that turned up the other day. Our plan is the day we've had our 12 wk scan and hopefully when everythings gone ok we r on a trip to the Trafford centre for baby clothes shopping. Can't bloomin wait!!!

babycarmen · 06/07/2011 10:04

Well helloo... Havent been on in a few days and now i cant keep up!

Hi, can I join too?
I'm 9 weeks today and this is the first time I've posted on mumsnet. Eek! I'm another who feels nauseous but hasn't been sick thankfully. Anyone else feel faint sometimes?

blissfull · 06/07/2011 10:39

Hi everyone - Crazybit thanks for that Im going to look into that - anything that helps easier on the tummy..Im really nervous about my scan tomorrow I hate the build up , the water the waiting room where everyones wondering what each other are there for..Hmm at least this time dh can make it with me .Im dreading bad news or even having to go back again before they see the heartbeat, as everything I have read says It should be there now for my weeks . Have a nice day everyone ,take care

louby86 · 06/07/2011 11:45

Welcome AverageHeight, hope you're having a good day!

I've just got back from the doctors, he wants me to bring a urine sample back asap and then he'll ring me tonight to let me know if I need to be admitted to hospital! I'm a bit scared now but fingers crossed it'll be ok!

littlemonkeybix · 06/07/2011 12:56

Hello folks.

1st post... and 1st PG! Petrified, and delighted... and still keeping it secret! Hoping to tell all 4 GParents in a couple of weeks. Only 1 has grandkids already... so I'm banking on 3 sets of tears ;o)

Waiting for scan date, but Doc said due Feb27th.... could it be a leap baby?!

Good luck to all, congrats to all and sorry for thos suffering symptoms of any kind... I'm fortunate (so far) with only tiredness and sore boobies!!

DiamanteMaddy · 06/07/2011 13:06

Got my first doctors app tonight and hopefully he will book me in for another scan just to check everything is ok as I have translocated chromasomes so more likely to m/c :(
Had one emergency scan 2 weeks ago where they told me i was 6 weeks and saw the hearbeat which was good but confusing as LMP date means i should have been 10 weeks Confused

Does anyone know if the Doctor will refer me to a Midwife? This is my first and I really know nothing about pregnancy!!
