Anybody else out there?????
Very surprised, had only SWI once and I thought we had missed the window of opportunity. It seems not, BFP yesterday, royal wedding treat. EDD about 2nd Jan I think.

#2 for me, keeping fingers tightly crossed as had a bumpy ride before conceiving DS. Very excited and slightly terrified. :)

Such a worryingly common thing to happen it's a miracle if baby gets through first 12 weeks let alone the rest of 9 months.

I don't really know what to say, I had lots of things about cheese in my head whilst reading through the posts and then I got to scrambled and browncoats and now feel so sad and tearful for them, please take care both of you, I hope you have lots of support and go on to have successful pregnancies in the future sending lots of love and ((hugs))

I know what you mean Mum2be it really hammers it home, really trying not to think about my scan on Friday to be honest, which may sound heartless but I just can't bare the thought of getting my hopes up...

Take care everyone, we have such special cargo on board x

Everyone else - my god, you're all fantastic. Thanks so much for all the support and nice things everyone's said, it truely makes you feel just a bit better to know people are thinking about you in times like this. I've never really posted in a lot of MN before joining this thread as I felt too intimidated, but it's not going to stop me from now on. The general chat I've enjoyed in this thread up until today, and now this support has been great. Thank you.

And Weevie your post saying "Sorry I didnt read the rest of the thread before posting about cheese..." was the only thing to make me laugh today so please don't feel sorry.

Oh browncoats and scrambled - I am so sorry to catch up with this news from you both.
Was close to crumbling and 'fessing up to my parents (who will be delighted) but couldn't bear the heartbreak if then had to tell them bad news. With so many of our group going thru such terrible times at the moment I absolutely refuse to believe things might go ok for me until scan at 12+5.

Really big hugs to everyone having a shit time at the moment.

Thanks guys for the well wishes. I'm not so much worried anymore as resigned to the fact.

The system is different here in Finland and I don't think the midwife can do blood tests other than a finger prick for haemoglobin. I was thinking too about why she wouldn't do a blood test to check hcg levels but only afterwards. I was a bit numb yesterday.

I agree Browncoats it does help to talk here on MN to all you lovely ladies. I have one stellar friend in RL who I can talk to but my family would be useless. And I have a supportive DH so that helps too.

I've my fingers crossed that everybody here has healthy and happy pregnancies.

Sorry for dragging you all down. Back to cheese and bras now! It's important to enjoy your pregnancy and I wouldn't worry until I'm told there's something to worry about.

For those smaller boobed ladies, Ive lived in Carriwell seamless nursing bras. Not the most stylish but very, very comfy.

Browncoats and scramble you are most definitely in my thoughts! I read the thread yesterday and could not write anything till today...I know it might sound very cliche and silly but knowing that there is another day where things are different are always nice :)

If anyone wants a laugh this morning, I just tried my swimming costume to check it was ok for this afternoon and the stupid seam ripped when I tried to pull it up Blush good job I tried it before we went

Hi everyone - sorry I have been off for a while, and I am so sorry to browncoat and scrambled for your losses.

Unfortunately I will be leaving you lovely ladies today too.
After last weeks scan with a heartbeat, but pool of blood I was re scanned this morning to see if the pool had reduced. Unfortunately they were now unable to find a heartbeat and I have a missed miscarriage.
I have chosen medical management, as I am not keen on surgery, so i was given a pill today and will take misoprostyl at home on Saturday to induce miscarriage. I am slightly worried about it - was told it would be very painful.
We will be ttc again from mid August.

Wishing you all loads of luck with the rest of your pregnancies, I will look in and see how you are all doing.

I am so sorry to hear of the loses my thoughts are with you all.

Tummytickler, I have never had the tablet to help bring on bleeding but I know a few of my friends have and they said that it was just like a heavy period not extra pain. I really hope thay may help a tiny bit in such a horrible situation.

xkatyx - how are you feeling are you feeling any different with your 2 at this time! im still waiting to confirm that i have 1 in here also! roll on the 20th!
im very much looking forwards to my paris trip!!!!!!!!!!no kids just chilling!
my belly is now showing but i had a little bit to deal with before!Shock
has anyone got diabetes my friend has got it and so she get loads of extra scans for them to make sure the baby is ok!

Hi mama, at the start I felt sooo hungry but more sicky now. The tiredness is ridiculous I'm just exhausted!!

I had diabetes in my last 2 pregnancies yes had a scan every 2 weeks .. Very reassuring. I managed to diet control mine.

Good luck for everyone's up and comming scans .. I have my mw app Tomorow so I should get a date for my 12 scan too.

Sorry tummytickler, that's awful. Thinking of you and the others at this time. scrambled I hope the next scan is more successful.

Hope everyone else is doing well, this first trimester is so tough, emotionally and physically. My scan is 4th July by which time I'll be 12 and a half weeks. It cannot come quick enough.
