I wouldn't mind coming down to London again - maybe bring all 3 girls this time?
Jeans-wise, it's under the bump skinnies for now but this may well change.
Oh and Topshop have had the cheek to sell me a 'tankini' without any bottoms. Surely a tankini by definition includes a top and bottom Confused So have had to stump up £12 for a pair of bikini knickers now..

tinkbig · 04/05/2011 16:21

Hello all

I am up for a meet up in July, would be great to see you all. It would have to be a week when I am not working the weekend if we were to do a saturday. That would be the 10th or the 24th in July.

Moosy it would be great to see fizzy again, so really was so cute.

Diege i would send the top back that is really bad that you have to buy the top and the bottoms seperatly I have never ever heard of that before. I am going to have to invest in some maternity clothes, I have noticable bump now and only one pair of trousers fit me. May check out topshop for a pair of jeans, was hoping to go a little longer but alas not. I am 13+5 today, please tell me the sickness will stop soon (although not being sick but feel sick every evening)..

Ses really pleased for you sounds like implantation to me ...

Hi to everyone else

bumpsnowjustplump · 04/05/2011 16:35

SHE not so sorry moosy Fizz is definatly a she not a so...

Rugbylovingmum · 04/05/2011 16:56

Hi all, just popping in. I'd be up for a meet up - I couldn't do the 9th/10th July but my weekends are fairly free apart from that.

Moosy · 04/05/2011 19:33

All weekend days in July are fine for me except Saturday 23rd.

Bumps, she is a little so and so! But yes, very cute, especially now she's that bit older, I LOVE this age :o

Ses, hope all's well with you and your pre-bump :o

Diege, I have 2 tankinis in size 8 (I think) if you want them. They're Mothercare - 1 is not beautiful at all, but the other is black with white spots and is ok. You can have them if you like, I have no further use for them!

Oh, and talking of showing off new bumps, I wonder if Sorky will come and show hers of? Wink

Diege · 04/05/2011 21:00

Ooh Moosy I'd be very happy to take you up on your tankini offer Grin That's very kind of you Smile. Topshop e-mailed a while ago to say there are no bikini knickers in stock after all, so just hope they'll accept my return of the top which is now cardboard label-less!!!
OH and what's this ref to SORKY??? She's not is she?? Shock
July weekends pretty good for me, though Sunday better than Sat to allow for travelling. Having said that train only 2.5 hrs from Warrington so scrap taht, sats are fine too Grin

GruffaloSoldier · 04/05/2011 21:45

LOL Diege I think Moosy was referring to Sorkys somewhat enhanced pair of lady bumps Wink

I am a bit hazy about July dates, I have plans for two weekends. 1 is the 10th and I think the other might be the last weekend or the one before, will check and get back to you!

Diege · 04/05/2011 22:04

Grin ah yes, the new boobs!!! I remember now!

hotcrossSES · 04/05/2011 22:32

LOL at Sorky's bumps!!

With regards to the meet up, I can't do the first 3 weekends in July but could do either of the last 2. It would be great to see everyone again and see how the LOs have grown. Rugby - would you be ok with a trip down south Grin Do you think we could persaude any others to join us this time too?! (Tinks, Kayz, Nat, Cant, MMM, etc!)

PILs duly arrived and hence my diet of ham, potatoes and cabbage begins!

I have a bit of a dilemma. I'm still doing these weekly personal training sessions and next one is tomorrow evening. I go with one of my best friends and the guy helping is is one of the dad's from my NCT group. Now do I tell him about my BFP or would I get away with saying I had a bad back or something, or should I just carry on regardless? We don't really plan to say anything to anyone until after a first scan.

Oh the other thing I thought I'd share is a text I got from DH today:

"When a lady is pregnant, all her friends touch her stomach and say "CONGRATS" but none of them comes and touches the man's penis and say "Well done!". Moral of the story: Hard work is never appreciated"

In his dreams is my response! And in any case, I wasn't overly keen on people randomly touching my belly last time round!

Starshinetiger · 04/05/2011 23:05

Ooh, I knew something must be up with so many new messages - a meet-up, FAB! Definitely up for it. Should we start an FB discussion? Will do tomorrow if noone else has, but need to get to bed now.

Bumps and Moos - nice to see that a honk and a meet-up have got you back on here.

Am worried the bumps will make me broody at meet-up. Were at PIL on weekend and apparently DS was announcing to all in the garden that we are going to have another baby Confused - no idea where the talk comes from - do they all go through a phase of wanting another sibling? Even the idea that he would have to share a room didn't put him off!

Moosy · 04/05/2011 23:27

DD1 was trying to persuade me to have another baby today, apparently she wants a brother - she didn't mind the thought of sharing a room either! I said a very firm NO! :)

tinkbig · 05/05/2011 09:24

hi ladies

dd1 off school today grrr school polling station

hi ladies

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/05/2011 11:21

Morning all.

Meet up... Depending on how much a train would cost me I might be able to come... Not too sure as I'd most likely need to stay overnight, and with saving spending money for Disneyland in Aug money is a bit tight... But will look into it. What station would I need for train prices? I would love to come tho... Could possibly look into coming v.early and getting a train back the same day to save money on a hotel. :)

Seeing friend and surrogate baby tomorrow, will be just over a month since I've seen her so she'll look so much bigger to me! Getting excited for baby cuddles!

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/05/2011 11:35

Just looked and I could book the train for around £30 if I was to do it all in the same day... And its not much longer than it was to get to York! And same price. Will check with DH but I think the only day I couldn't make is the 31st as its his best, but thats a Sunday anyway. So if you all get a date asap I can decide if I can come and book tickets asap to save some pennies.

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/05/2011 12:43

diege- we also need to re-arrange underwater street trip... I'm thinking a weekend during may... Let me know if your up for it and when your free and I can get DH to sort a day off.x

Moosy · 05/05/2011 13:35

Diege, I've emailed you about the tankinis, I hope I got the email address right

bumpsnowjustplump · 05/05/2011 13:59

I could do either the 9th or the 23rd of July but if those dates dont suit everyone feel free to organise it without me..

tinkbig · 05/05/2011 15:46

cant tom sounds exciting
today not been too bad

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/05/2011 15:53

Should we make a date list and the one most can make it to wins?

July 2nd: cant, rugby, moosy
July 9th: cant, bumps, moosy
July 16th: cant, rugby, moosy
July 23rd: cant, bumps, ses, rugby
July 30th: cant, ses, rugby, moosy

Have looked above and where anyone's specified dates they can/cant make it I've put down... Hope I've done it right, feel free to add yourself, and change what I've done if I've put you down wrong. Diege, would my train from Preston be the same one you get at warrington? If so could attempt to get the same train for company other than dd2... Not even gonna consider bringing the other 2!

Moosy · 05/05/2011 16:03

What about sundays? Or are they out?

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/05/2011 16:08

Hadn't thought... Will let someone else copy and paste and add Sundays... I think I can make all but the 31st...

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/05/2011 16:14

Oh not being lazy btw, just posting from my phone and dont know how to copy and paste, and dont wanna have to re-type all that again! Grin

Moosy · 05/05/2011 17:42

Here you go:

Sun July 3rd: moosy
Sat July 9th: cant, bumps, moosy
Sun July 10th: moosy
Sat July 16th: cant, rugby, moosy
Sun July 17th: moosy
Sat July 23rd: cant, bumps, ses, rugby
Sun July 24th: moosy

Sun July 31st:moosy

cantmummyhaveabreak · 05/05/2011 18:27

Will add myself next time I'm on the pc, but as it stands I'm also free to make a trip all but the last Sunday. :) have kinda cleared it with DH, so can get him to sort whatever day is chosen for him to be off to have the other 2dc. Getting excited for a meet-up!

Well I've decided I'm defo wanting dc4... DS & DD1 have both talked about it too, dd2 said 'why do you want to spoil our fun' to DH when he said no more babies! Was so funny! I do think I'm slowly getting round him tho... Sadly I do want to be pg asap, but it just isn't fesable... We really would need to have a 7 seated car before I was pg... So I do have about a year to work on DH some more.
